  1. Starting to remake the entire website for my work in HTML5.... should be interesting. Current guy who made it is a complete tard and very backwards.. doesn't even use css... *Sigh*
  2. I have found that the Whirlpool.net.au forums to be a good place to source web hosts... among other IT stuff.
  3. Yea, I'm over flash too. At least for use in web dev/design, still good for games.
  4. Slight disappointment at the end but other than that it was great.

    The Poll

Engaged, soon to be single
  6. I was going to see it tomorrow also, but the first opportunity i'll have is sunday :( boo. damn real jobs.
  7. Can't block Tom of Myspace either, but no one cares about that, so whatever.
  8. 500, Canasta, Rummy, Poker (either FRNL Texas Hold'em or PL Omaha, sometimes Razz). Board games are all over the place... scrabble, upwords, risk, trivial pursuit, sorry, etc. i have 50 or so board games in my cupboard right now  Ironically chess, checkers and backgammon aren't in there at all.. mostly because no one i know plays any of them, it was just my dad who I would play against :-\
  9. Yep - There's another trailer up and about too. When I get the time I'll edit it up top.
  10. Used up the last of my credit on Amazon on Stargate SG-1: The Complete Series Collection Wont be here for another few weeks, but still - saving over $300 dollars is worth it - and I'm not fussed about it not having Ark of Truth or Continuum with it either :)
  11. Not many movies lately. Knocked over The first three seasons of Ghost Whisperer in two days tho... The movies I've seen in the last week: One Perfect Day Footrot Flats: A Dogs Tale Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow Diamonds are Forever Karate Kid (new one) - was alright, title still irks me, but meh.
  12. I don't think I've lost a round of that either. Which reminds me, I should go to Timezone again sometime. Need to win another DS :ohnoes:
  13. Noted, they're good - but to actually be good at anything better than LAN games with casual gamers or against the AI requires some serious dedication and evaluation of almost all elements. And it is Something which most people just can't be bothered doing. And to be honest I don't blame them; unless you live in Korea and want to play StarCraft for a career there's no real reason to do it.
  14. The only thing I feel was missing was more from the micromanagement family... I'm not a massive fan of StarCraft myself, but admire the balance and skill that is required to actually kick serious arse in it. Granted you have series like AoE which are heavy on the economical things, in comparison to C&C which can turn into a click-fest if they drag out long enough but they improved in later years.. named AoE2x and C&C3 (They came close with RA2:Yuri's revenge but the balance was too much in favour of yuri)
  15. That's my take on it too. So much stuff got cut out of previous movies that they essentially have to fabricate things now to make the last two make sense. Should've just followed things, even if they were "tedious" at least it would've made sense. Harry was meant to bail from the wedding at the burrow, but since that got burnt down in HBP I'm guessing he'll have to bail from the train.. and that's their way of writing out bill/fluer, shell cottage (I assume they escape to grimwauld pl despite it being open to death eaters after the ministry raid, etc) and whatever else. I don't even know if I can justify spending money of seeing it at the cinema. HBP was a complete failure.. get to the end expecting some badass battle and they just walk through the school with almost 0 resistance.. total [cabbage] really. Edit: I'll like to add that I'm not an obsessive fan over these books (wait till the Tomorrow When the War Began movie comes out for some epic hate - if required, then you'll see a difference :P) but looking at the movies while trying to block out all i know of the end result.. they make very little sense.
  16. Okay.. that's enough of derailing this thread with a debate on world market economics and the effect of currency, etc. If you want to continue it - start a new thread or move it to PM. Just not here, k? Anyhow, I find that water purifying tabs are the best for me. I've probably used more of them than I have bought bottled water..
  17. Notepad++ for for coding and command line compilers.
  18. Tough call really. I like PHP due to the $0 outlay and fact that it runs on any server... but ASP.NET has the larger industry demand, so the small-medium projects get PHP, large ones get ASP.NET just to save time.

    Body odor

I think my longest is about a week while I was hiking with mates. Never again. Being covered in sweat, dirt and all kinds of crap from the air.. not enjoyable. Granted I have gone 4 days without a shower since, but in contrast I was going between my computer and bed and not much else, but it wasn't exactly pleasant. I usually aim for 2 showers a day, but if I haven't been overly active, I skip the one at night and have one when i wake up.

    Today...

At least it's an income, and... you're more employable when you're already employed so there's a fair chance of being able to pick up something more perm after a while, either there or somewhere else.
  21. Yea, time really does fly... Also, there are some additional peeps not in the above poster in http://darkwebz.com/images/ Mostly ForsakenMage, Kayla, Vmser and.. Mitch.. pretty sure it's mitch anyways... Plus there's a group shot of dusqi, mad, matt and mecro from mad's london trip, iirc.
  22. Well that's uneventfull... I feel ripped off. Good thing I didn't pay money
  23. Here and there. Now, you need to post up an essay on what you've been doing for the last 4 yrs :P The Life of Rizla '06-'10 : : : GO!
  24. plenty of us would have an '01 join date if previous forum databases were able to be preserved... but meh, minor issue :)
