New Jersey legalizes medical marijuana...and bans gay marriage
All comes down to the dealer and their source. Like all drugs in the word that are grown illegally, the more money behind it chances are the better the end product. And that is usually reflected in the sale price... it really is a market of 'you get what you pay for' although not always the case..

Hack parental controls?
We can't help you there. If you want a solution try elsewhere. You could try asking your parent(s) about removing the software. Especially if you purchased it from your own funds.

Multiple Monitors
Nope. But you can put tf2 in window mode and it looks pretty full screen. That's not entirely accurate. You can have both running, however you can only be actively using one at any given moment.

Chatroulette
Let's just run with the Omegle thread as it is.. since we really don't need two. Yes I know this has pretty pictures to go with it, but given what's turned up thus far, and what people have said they're going to be doing.. I can't see this going anywhere good.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I enjoyed it. Although my SO found it a bit confusing sometimes.

Tomorrow, when the war began
Yea.. if they try and do multiple books per movie.. it will just fail horribly. There's way too much stuff to make more than 1 book per movie make sense.. unless it's like LOTR and like 3.5hrs long... even then it probably wont.

Oh yay! Tighter airport security
Or a student. In highschool, whenever we had a fire-drill. I told my mates... "be better off putting the bombs in the evacuation points.. then call in the threat.. get them all easily since they're in less places" and it still stands really. If they really want to just go for the body count it really wouldn't be that hard. But I think the point is breaking through layers of security and going for something with national symbolism. How would America react if you wake up to the Statue of Liberty being rubble ... or Mount Rushmore .. how about the Washing Monument? The reaction was off the chart for the Trade Towers.. Edit: If they wanted to go for real pain... hit the USMC War Memorial. Not to be disrespectful of those killed in action, but it really would be a harsh blow when the memorial to the fallen is destroyed.

Tomorrow, when the war began
If they are doing one, I would like to think they're doing them all.

Tomorrow, when the war began
Speculation is some generic Asian country. My best guess is a country on the South-China Sea. Purely for their ease of access and available military population. And if they're moving in citizens to populate Australia.. you'd assume they have maxed their own country rather well, so the smaller the more likely. Say Vietnam, Cambodia or Malaysia. Probably the first two.. or both working in unison...

Tomorrow, when the war began
Funny that, we had to read the first one for English in yr 9... I think. And we had to do some character profiles.. on two of the characters afterwards. I read the entire series for it.. Lee has no last name. My teacher didn't believe me and tried to mark me down on it :wall: The entire story line follows... ah Red Dawn is close. But it's much more in-depth, so even those outside of Australia should find it interesting. The Third Day, The Frost is one of my top two. The other being The Otherside of Dawn.

Tomorrow, when the war began
So after years, and years of waiting on this movie - they are finally on the way. For those familiar with the books.. bring it! I was a little skeptical of the casting at first but after some decent poking around, and linkage from the imdb forums, their choices seem good... except for probably Kevin. This site: http://www.tomorrow-movies.com/ has some rather good "sneak peak" photos. I especially love the one of Homer and Ellie casing the bridge. While not how I pictured Homer (shorter hair and a bit more built) it looks promising  I feel like an addict waiting for the next hit. Can't wait for the movie to be release :ohnoes: Trailer: http://video.au.msn.com/watch/video/trailer-tomorrow-when-the-war-began/xft90ns?from=sharepermalink [hide][/hide]

Oh yay! Tighter airport security
Yes it would take time. However if they want to do it correctly... add the extra security while they're reviewing how the breach occurred. When they have determined the contributing factors and taken steps to rectify them so the chance of it being repeated is reduced.. remove the band-aid security. There's only so much you can do in terms of safely before it becomes cost prohibitive and a major disruption to the workability of the airport facilities. They just can't keep slapping band-aid solutions whenever something happens. There's a problem with their current setup.. and having more dogs, scanners, or guards isn't going to fix it if the problem is with say.. blacklisted persons still able to purchase tickets and board a plane. I mean, I could understand their desire to up the security presence.. but if it's applied to the wrong area it's money going down the drain. The extra recourses need to be allocated in the regions of any breech, otherwise the holes remain open for attempt #x at a later date. Decisions by airports to just up security without thinking about where it needs to be applied just makes me facepalm whenever I read about it.

Cricket!
Australia declared way too early. Should of pushed for like 700 then bowled them out twice

Oh yay! Tighter airport security
Evidently they need to review their current procedures rather than slap on extra [cabbage] and leave the current problems laying around for the next guy to slip through.

Multiple Monitors
I'd only play games with 3 screens for this very reason. 3 screens take out that chunk and put it on the center monitor. Right now I just use one screen to game the other to look up strategy or browse the net/use vent/messenger programs. Nice Silver, you'll like it I promise :P Yea.. I do that with mine. Game on one, got the web up on the other.

Google Map of top end of QSM... #62 is 'The Bunker' and #43 is the other place I'm talking about... Can't remember the name atm, haven't been there for a while. And I'm not saying it's like that all the time.. but often enough to make you want to hang around the more crowded areas, either near the McDonald's in the valley, or near Hungry Jacks in QSM. Granted the chances of being mugged/raped are low-ish (unless you're female)... no need to increase the risk for no reason. Hell, even in the crowded areas you might run into trouble The best solution is catch a cab and head home as soon as you're done for the night. Or stay in the club you're at if it's past lock-down. If you're outside after lock-down, best be in a group and somewhere that isn't isolated. If you're in a female group, having at least one guy with you increases your security a lot (someone did a study on it at some point.. can't find source atm). There's just not much you can do when around drunks and possibly drugged up people. You look at some of them funny and they'll smack you in the face, or worse. May as well do what you can to avoid being in any situation which draws a target on you for these types.

[hide] Okay. Couldn't you just lie down on a bench at the station ? I'd rather be eyed and hit on than mugged and raped. D: It's a urban train station in a quiet Australia city, at 2:40 in the morning, which at another time would be mildly populated. It's not as if some junkie shot up on smack would "mug and rape" you. Really? From what I've seen brisbane and the valley are always packed with weird [bleep]s [/hide]From experience... unless you are clean sober and capable of running very fast in the direction of police.. don't be hanging out on the train stations by yourself. Enough muggings and rapes happen on them (even with 24hr CCTV) during the day, the number just goes up at night. When I'm outside a club/pub after lock-out I head for The Bunker. 24hr internet Cafe at the top end of QSM. If that's busy, I just head to the one which is just further up and on the other side. You can kill like 2hrs there without noticing it. Edit: And my day thus far has consisted of a 17.1bb/100 session of poker, profits this week have almost covered my christmas expenses Edit 2: 5.8bb/100 was for one table, not all 6.. correct win-rate above.
