Multiple Monitors
Q to those who play games fs/max over both monitors... how the hell do you put up with having a 1"+ chunk missing from the display?

My Ritual.. not that I have a choice, this is all stuff I need to job my job ASAP on a new build.. fun list... SP2 Disable Windows Firewall and automatic updates. Drivers Google Chrome 7zip Camtasia Studio 5 & 6 WinSCP Codecs + Players Skype Office Teamviewer FullTilt Poker PostgreSQL Hold'em Manager Flash Player As for the useful things.. HijackThis My security consists of a bastard hardware based blacklist at the router, so I don't have to configure it all the time when I format or bring a new machine into the network.

What movie(s) did you last see?
You sure you have those two around the right way? Edit: Oh yea.. saw Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and Planet 51 at the drive in the other night. Both rather good, but not quite as entertaining as I would've liked for. Planet 51 degraded to the point of facepalming the plot near the end.. it's almost like they just.. wrote it in a rush to get it over and done with. Cloudy.. well, just no. I'm starting to get sick of the 'happy ending' where the world is saved by the skin of its teeth. it's about time the world is saved, but not before something goes to ruin.. yea it's a kids movie but still.. i was hoping for more.

Excuse the odd question, but...
Yea.. I've seen some nasty stuff in regards to hygiene products and tampering to make them... not so hygienic but as already stated.. risk level in regards to urine.. almost in the negatives. But if you're still freaked out by it.. talk to your GP. Not much else to be said about it really.

If God were on trial - What would be the charges?
Genocide... everything else was done "in the name of" so maybe 'conspiring to commit x' sounds about right. Almost anyways, I'm not down with what is claimed that god did personally, but there's enough stuff out that taking the form of "I was told by god to do it".

Camtasia recorder does not record sound - PROBLEM SOLVED (Look 1st post)
Use 'Manual Input Select' and select 'Stereo Mix' Go through and make sure that 'Stereo Mix' is selected for everything. I found that 'Speakers' only worked when I was actually using speakers, and not front-jack headphones.

While the gist of your list makes sense Daan, how's about some more English next time  And what'd you think of Red Dawn?

Paranormal Activity
Went to the drive-in last night, my SO wasn't feeling too great about 15min into this movie (double feature) so we left. And I really don't feel like I would've missed anything. The movie didn't make me want to watch it, at all. Zero effect on keeping my attention, the only reason I kept "watching" was I couldn't see the other screen :-\ I'll chalk this movie up to fail, and it can join Blair Witch Project, and Public Enemies in movies I will never finish watching.

Tip.It Forum Skin
Because that's the stereotype. And a very bad one at that. Amateur Clans... you can tell they are from a multitude of things, the design just means their 'dev' team isn't exactly top notch or just can't be bothered.

Study Finds that More Youth Say They'd Make Good Choices than 20 years ago
Unless people are hooked up to a polygraph you have to take this comparative things with a bucket of salt. I wouldn't trust it much.

the (financially realistic) ideal honeymoon
I would think "self guided" tours would be a heck of a lot cheaper. That works out to $1,000 USD a day $6600 USD round trip airfare + hotel room in a decent hotel from Expedia ( New Zealand to a city in Nepal China and back ) Ever thought to go here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JM_SbAs5lxE Where did you get $1,000/day? Anyhow, chances are my honeymoon will be Thailand for two weeks, which is pretty sweet :)

LAN Parties
I have never been to a commercially organized, or educationally organized LAN. All mine have been private BYO whatever. The only rule was no unknowns unless multiple people could vouch for them. The only unspoken rule was that you have to provided at least one multiple game to play during the LAN. If you didn't provide one, you best find one as soon as you were setup at where ever the event was.

I just did the unthinkable
don't give up on myspace until you are in a solid long-term relationship... easiest place to hookup... believe it or not

Why do developers keep doing this?
I loath any kind of escort/partner mission. Oblivion was particularly annoying, but at least on partner missions you could tell them to stay put then do it yourself and collect them on the way out. The escort missions were the worst tho... dumb [wagon] AI would go charging into a pack of like 10 enemies and get killed in 3 hits... you basically had to charge ahead hope they didn't catch up. GoldenEye's ah... Control (i think) was a [bleep]. Worst escort ever. Hopeless [bleep] :wall:

Anyone else experience this?
There is no visible damage anywhere. And I did try in multiple devices, PS3, PC, standard DVD player... even a macbook. And on that topic, when it was played in the pc and mac, rather than... nice crisp picture and then skipping, etc. It was.. blurred. Like 5+ copies of the frame would be visible... like watching 3d without the glasses (if you get that). But that didn't happen on the PS3 or standard dvd player... no other movies do that either. And for reference, most of my dvds are well over 5years, and none have suffered anything like this :-\

Anyone else experience this?
Okay.. a few weeks ago I watched a movie start->finish perfectly fine. And tonight I went to watch it again, and partway through it just went completely nuts, almost like the disk was badly scratched (freezing, skipping, etc). Now, I took the disk out, and there is no visible damage anywhere. The only concern is there is a huge chunk (like 1/4 almost) of the dvd which looks like there is no data written there at all. The disk is only like.. a few months old, no exposure to high heat, etc. Anything which would typically damage the disk. And no other movies around it experience the same problems. Am I basically screwed and need to buy the movie again?

Speeding up Computer
Quite correct; although i hate not having the print service. I remember when mine would crash on boot... oh fun times. Long story short.. the quickest method of 'speeding up your computer' other than clear it of crap.. is update the hardware. Although if it was brand new, latest tech and still running like a slug... smells like malware.
