Think of the hours poured into any account of any standing... And then to get banned for no reason? Anyone remember Limparse? Same situation. Maybe JaGex is just banning players they don't like knowing, even with this alternative, they may very well quit.

The GE is out of whack. And, if what some of you are implying is true, if JaGex IS adding items into it... I don't even know what to say about that.

With price restrictions on the horizen, maybe chat might get the axe next. Consider the amount of spam and rule breaking cursing involved, JaGex might set there lasers to "decimate without regards for life, limb, property, or human dignity." In other words, our merry little chat system may be replaced with predesigned chat messages. Think Toon Town or Club Penguin.

Remember that F2P got the Duel Arena, an absolutely useless way to make money, and Clan Wars, which have no rewards whatsoever, as well. And, because of the lack of Clan Wars' rewards, clans go to the Bounty Hunter minigame for cash.

This whole update seems to be half baked. And, if the Phantom Tollbooth taught me anything, its that, while delicious, half baked ideas tend to make you sick.

Indeed. Clans take over. And here is a fun litte scenario: A clan enters the bounty hunter arena and waits for some poor unsuspecting lad to come in. The victim can peep in using the spheres, but due to CLAN CHAT he can't see what they're saying. So he comes in. The clan sends there weakest member, with one horrible item, to die against him. Then they lay the smack down, and how. Ya. Loads of fun.

I've heard WoW referenced quite a bit in these discussions. What exactly is their "solution?" Besides pricing the game significantly higher than RS. They hyperinflate their currency and make it so that money alone cannot buy success. The idea is that the best way to succeed will be playing the game for yourself. Think firecape, but for everything. That... Makes sense.

I just cut my membership today. Anyhoo. The price controls go WAY to far. I could make suggestions to change it, but this has already happened. What JaGex needs is a good beta test system to try out major updates before their release. And almost all of this months updates in one fell swoop? Thats just a WEE bit much to adjust to. I mean, they ARE being honest, but still... And those of you who don't like PK'ers, think: With them AND stakers gone, who's going to buy your sharks, lobsters, potions, combat runes, and ammunition?

Runecrafting is INCREDIBLY dull and time consuming. Trust me. I know. I have lvl 50 runecrafting. And the god sword hilts? They're 100 mil and up (sorry, don't know their current prices) because they're so common. And have you fought one of those bosses? I haven't. And stop bashing PK'ers, they are NOT as bad as people tend to suggest.

This is what I like to see: a player offering solutions instead of just ranting. But on to business. A RS postal system, eh? That sounds like a pretty good idea... And it could have other applications such as sending an offline friend a message for when he logs in again, maybe?

Maybe they will. But is it just me, or does it seem like they put it up in a bit of a hurry? Maybe they wanted to get it all over with at once... This update is to us what the meteor was to the dinosaurs.

Aren't Party Hats worth, like, several billion? Because if so, come January the rares market is gonna crash and burn. I don't know, I'm not interested in rares. But if they're dramatically off, this month is going to show merchants feverishly trying to unload these items before the new year.

Merchanters aren't needed with the GE though. You put in "200k yew logs" and in a few seconds you'll get them! I understand where you're coming from, but there not only has to be enough sellers selling an item, but enough buyers as well for it to work. The GE is just not flexible enough for our purposes.

Ok, prove that to us, how are they going to keep RWT now? In like a week when nobody wants to play BH anymore, people can kill-trade their junk in the form of whips, d chains, god swords, etc The game requires 10 people. Really? No wonder its always a ghost town in there. And, let me add, if Runescape survives, RWTs will just sell accounts or something. I dunno. I don't have the mind of a cheater, just a megalomaniac.
