  1. So guys wear pink to get women? :? I wouldn't doubt it, but it still sounds absurd.
  2. Well said, that's true. If you're wearing an article of clothing with only a little pink on it then it doesn't really make a difference, but I always thought solid pink shirts were gay looking. What is the motive for wearing something like that?

I'm supposed to print out a whole project today or tomorrow. I wrote everything down on loose leaf paper but it must be printed... and I don't have a printer. Good job man. Getting a 100 is always a good feeling.

  5. It's also ironic too. Can you think of anything more unstudly than calling yourself a stud?
  6. 1. I crave adventure. 2. I am the purest example of those skinny guys who can eat whatever they want and not gain weight. 3. I get bored way too easily. 4. I'm a goldmine of wit. 5. I used to really hate my physical appearance when I was younger, but I guess I grew into my looks because I'm what I consider perfect now. No, it isn't narcissism - that would be if I unconditionally thought of myself that way but like I said, I used to think I was ugly.. Why the hell am I telling TIF this? :-#
  7. Introverted, spontaneous, intelligent, original, and strong-willed.
  8. It might not mend your bones or cure a sickness, but it can definitely helps you relax and helps deal with depression. Note: I'm not talking about chronic depression disorder - just the average bummed out type of depressed.
  9. I agree. My total level is 2100 and I'm the coolest dude I know.
  10. By definition, I don't believe in the supernatural. I think that everything can be explained, however, this doesn't discount the fact that spirits/ghosts/aliens/etc. can exist. It merely means they can be explained. As for believing those things - I don't know. I think the majority of stories are definitely made up, but to claim there is no possibility seems quite ignorant. What does unrealistic mean anyways? Because even life is pretty damn unrealistic if you ask me.

The emos brought it upon themselves for expecting sympathy. I'm not saying they don't deserve criticism. (Hell, everyone does.) But it's pretty ridiculous when you only belittle emos, while too afraid to say anything to the stereotypes that are just as funny but have a reputation for arguing back. In other words, they should pick on someone their own size.
  12. I assume you're getting at how people take pills to cure their ailment and how people smoke to cure their boredom, or something along those lines. That's a good point, but I guess we're just looking at it a different way. You look at the cause, while I look at the effect (in both cases with these drugs, you do get high). That means it's just a matter of arguing whether curing boredom should be on the same level as curing an ailment.

I think emo stands for emotional. It's hard to believe that people would want to start a depressed clique. I mean with gangsters and jocks, they're stereotyped for their arrogance but I still think that's a little better than being known for your whining. Something that irks me is when people purposely pick on emos but you never see them picking on other prime examples of a stereotype. Wow, good job, you made fun of an emo. Now if you really want to prove how hardcore you are, go do the same thing to a jock.
  14. That's what I was just thinking. Was it just an exaggeration to get your point across or is it a common thing where you are? Yeah, I may have exaggerated that point a bit. I just think it's ironic how teachers can give lectures while they're not in the right state of mind because a doctor says so, but you can't smoke marijuana in the safety of your own home where it's not really effecting anyone.

  16. I'm talking about "legit" prescriptions that are just for you, not ones given by a friend or someone. You're right that taking them when you're not prescribed is even more dangerous, but they're still pretty hazardous in the first place - yet it's publicly acceptable. My teacher has days where she just loses it. The whole class laughs at her and she thinks they're laughing with her so she laughs along. :?
  17. Why is it okay to get messed up out of your mind on prescription pills, but taking a puff of cannabis is frowned upon? I know some people who have prescriptions. (One of which is my teacher.) They seem to be in much worse shape than any smoker I've seen, yet they're allowed to drive, work, teach, etc. Do we put too much trust in doctors, people who are getting money from us? What are your opinions?
  18. Okay, let's get some things straight here. *The act of commencing a cockfight is sadistic. *The act of mistreating chickens at the factory is negligence. *The act of buying chicken nuggets from the store and eating them is not bad. If anything, that's good because it's preventing chickens from going to waste. Just because you buy a product from someone, that doesn't mean you endorse all of their values. I'm willing to bet that sometime in your life you've bought a product that was made through child labor - does that mean you agree with it? Yeah I knew it was either Greece or Rome, but I get those two confused a lot. Thanks for that. :)
  19. Boxers give their consent to fight. If they were forced into a ring, like how the Greeks used the Colosseum, then I would think it's even worse than cockfighting. I don't watch cockfights and I still find ways to entertain myself. Why are all your arguments so one-sided? Then what is their reason for fighting during a cockfight? PS: I think calling other people ignorant has lost it's effect after you said the whole thing about, "Meat eaters who don't condone animal abuse are all hypocrites." Yeah, little girls who eat chicken nuggets from McDonalds are the same exact thing as people who torture animals. Credibility flew right out the window after that.

  21. I think Bari has a point. Especially when it comes to clothing. We all know that we're going to be judged based on how expensive our wardrobes are, so even if you have little money you can still take the shortcut by only buying expensive things that your peers and neighbors will see. I'm lower middle class. Sure I wish I could eat at restaurants or get a car, but life is still good for me. :) It sucks that I'm in a catch-22 right now though. I want a car and a job. I can't get a job because I don't have a car to get me there, and I don't have a car because I don't have a job to buy one for me.
  22. My dad is like 5'8'' and I'm 6'2'' so I don't think it's completely impossible, but don't get your hopes up. I knew people who were really short most of their childhood and then in one year they grow half a foot. Like I said, don't get your hopes up though. Height is something you can't really control.
  23. Trying to be a smartass isn't your thing. Some got it, some don't.
  24. And this is why cockfighting is sadistic and eating them is not. Sadism - The deriving of pleasure, or the tendency to derive pleasure, from cruelty. Why do you like cockfights? Because you get pleasure out of seeing chickens fight. Why do we eat chicken? Because we need food and it tastes good. Eating chicken has nothing to do with enjoying the pain chickens are put through. The only enjoyment here is how it tastes on our taste buds - not the psychological drive for wanting to witness pain being inflicted upon them. It has to do with survival, not sadism. There is a big difference.
