Cockfights are banned here in Canada, but I used to watch them fights when I was a kid. I don't know about you guys but it is [bleep]ing awesome.

 

 

 

I understand why it's banned. People think of animal cruelty and stuff like that. But honestly, I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. I mean it's like PETA complaining about chicken being slaughtered. It isn't that bad. Not all fights end up with the other dead (especially if they weren't geared). It's on the same level as horse racing where the horse gets whipped, etc. You never hear about complaints about that being legal even when a horse that gets into an accident during the race gets put down right away. It's like boxing, if boxers could fly.

 

 

 

And if your rooster loses, all it means is that you know what you're having for dinner.

They won't run away. Even if they are losing, they won't run. You can get two roosters to fight in open ground with no cage or restraints and they will stay and fight to the death.
