  1. I'm Christian, but I read works and writings from other religions like taoism, confuscinism (sp?), buddhism and shintoism(eastern religions ftw). one's mind becomes stale when knowledge from one perspective is used too much. Btw, I'm Catholic too
  2. You can't take someone else's life, even to save another's, that's stealing either way. So I'd ask my beloved which they would chose. If I couldn't get a straight answer, I'd chose the logical path, not emotional path, and sacrifice my beloved. Human lives are currency with other human lives so they are somewhat interchangeable. I feel like a heartless monster when I say this , but that's the path of logic.
  3. If you've ever fished at Shilo, you'd know that it is indeed possible to complete the quest with a level 3, as there are some skillers fishing from time to time. Since you got to beat 3 lvl 70-90 monsters how is that possible?
  4. the space next to the door to the second level
  5. And just cause it's a pic doesn't mean it's not a fake

  9. The point that killing is bad isn't because you hurt them, but because you killed them. Killing is wrong, nothing can justify that, except competition in the world....we are the smartest of all the animals so we tend to behave like them.....
  10. *Starts walking through the random war inside walmart, dodging the occasional food projectile*. I'm bored, I'll go get some popcorn.
  11. I wonder if my mom call spell.... This is random
  12. It's good for colors so I give 7/10
  13. actually yes I did, too much tv ads :wall: Did you know that the same material that makes up your hair is also found in your teeth and is the exact compound for toe nails? lol discusting.....
  14. You can't possibly mean this picture: No of course not, everyone looks better in pictures than in real life.
  15. You know so little... The Jews did kill Jesus, even if indirectly. They denied him and called for his crucifixtion...His death wasn't done by their hands (I believe the Romans actually did the deed), but his death was on their hands. Actually, that was another reference to the south park easter special episode. (The one where it makes the pope an easter bunny) Someone said south park, so I am forced to quote stan's dad. :P Tigra, Christians, much less catholics didn't exist until Jesus was resurrected :shame: , so how could Catholics be the cause of his death? Errdoth is right, everything on south park is secretly true.....lol
  16. This is somewhat simple but I like it: A leader serves the people he/she is leading. Hitler was doing things for his own gain so he was not a good ruler in my opinion. Bringing up the fact that he killed over 6 million innocent people doesn't make him a bad ruler. Alexander the Great took over all of the modern Europe, North Africa, and the Persian Empire (modern Iraq, Iran, etc.). He obviously killed many people yet people still call him a great ruler. :-k
  17. Control fire? able to contain fire is not controlling it. We are not its master. Telling it to not burn or die won't change anything. What we claim to control is what in turn controls us. We cannot control water as it dictates how long we can live. The earth beneath our feet tells us how we can live and the air tells us where we can live. Fire is the destruction of impulses that drive humanity. We strive to defeat something, yet it returns, evolved and more powerful.
  18. According to Japanese and middle eastern culture, Earth then water, fire and air. My explanation for this is because: Earth: slow and restricted Water: Flowing and some restrictions Fire: No form or definite shape, so it can adapt extremely easily and almsot no restrictions Air: Same as fir except it has NO restrictions at all since it is indefinite Most culture have a 5th element, the spiritual or hidden element. For Japanese, it is "Ku" (Romanji) or void/sky. It's connection with divinity is what makes it powerful.
  19. Every that is explained about the dinosaurs is pure theory. Yes theya re alive, but carbon dating is pure speculation. Second, there isn't any way to know the distance of the stars. We would have to make a timer on how long it would take for a newborn star's light to reach earth, then plug in the formula. If the closest star (guessing) is around 54 light years, then a 54 year record should be instituted, but this whole speculation on carbon dating is just bogus (there ARE outside forces that act upon the elements, the Earth is not a controlled experiement).
  20. Easy: the ability to strip a story to its core values and rearrange them to make a better story( in my opinion). I call it story-stripping. It's pretty fun too. That and the ability to munch on 2 slices of cake in front of the computer all day and LOSE 2 pounds. Lol, I'm serious my metabolism is too high for my own good. #-o
  21. Definition of what is moral: anything that creates, preserves or fixes. Definition of what is IMmoral: anything that destroys or causes damage to something. Drugs: immoral- destroys the body Lying: immoral- destroys trust and relationships Fighting: immoral- destroys the other's and your own body However, the list keeps going on for so much that people will make exceptions to suit their needs, that's what's wrong with humanity. :shame:

    Phobias?

somewhat a severe case of hemophobia (fear of blood). Somewhat because if I know it's fake like, in a movie or anime, then I'm fine as long as I don't see it in excessive amounts for long periods of time. It's really blood, like if someone scrapes their knee and it bleeding, I'll turn pale and start shaking. Even if some one tells me that some one is bleeding and they are close, I will still start shaking and go pale. :ohnoes: I also have animalphobia (I'm pretty sure that a really phobia). I was chased by a baby beagle once and ran to the other side of school campus :boohoo:. I'm somewhat ashamed of that incendent :wall:
  23. since emo=emotional, you could label me an emo loner. I get emotional sometimes, but usually vent it out through other stuff, like rs and fanfics. Most people call me a poser because I don't dress in black, cut myself or act all "What's the point of life?". Those are the stereotype emos. They are the people who attempt suicide or preform suicide jestures. They are needing something to fill a humongous hole in their life and are constantly trying to fill it up. It makes me sad when I see that. :(
  24. A few people say that if we pull out now, all the lives that we have lost will be for nothing. What would we gain from this war? Second, this isn't a war it more like a Katrina accident that we're helping out, just under heavy fire. If we fight this war and get nothing out of it, even if we do win, that will be sacrificing live for nothing. War is a gamble and a game at the same time: Rules( mean guidelines) for war: 1. Hit the guy so hard that he can't retaliate back. 2. Human lives are only a monetary term for other human lives, no amount of land or money can replace human lives, only a trade off of soldiers vs civilians. 3. Don't condemn people to death during a campaign, it's the same thing as murder. 4. Don't manipulate someone's loyalty to country for a personal gain. 5. Running away does not mean that you are afraid, it means that you are losing and need to get out there before unnecessary risks/sacrifices are made. That's all I got to say about this.
