Avast has [cabbage] loads of falsepositives and can't delete viruses fully, that's what I've seen in some tests.

Actually, you can close it without ending firefox, what you need to do is close the screen, place your mouse on the lower left corner of the "Cancel"/"ok" button and hold down enter. Or use NoScript. :thumbsup: LOL. Google Chrome has this option that can "prevent this website from creating additional dialogues." ;) So does Opera, but with Opera there's not even a pop-up or the window moving.

The best free AV is Avira Antivir. Avast is not too far behind, although it isn't really good imo, too many false positives and can't really completely delete viruses. AVG is one of the bad ones nowadays.

I've seen a lot of trouble with Dells lately as well, compared to the years they were good computers. Nowadays, I would recommend an Hp or if a laptop, an Asus.

Chrome is crap when it comes to good browsers like Firefox or Opera.
