Exactly. It's used much more jokingly than it is being serious. I rarely see someone using it seriously. So really, joking about it is just as bad as actually being serious, almost at least. When people start using "leet speak," even if they are joking around, I usually just ignore them.

Well I guess they deserve to be punished, not necessarily for gambling, but for disobeying the teacher. Sounds like the school resource officer was kind of abusing his powers, if you ask me. Jail and a 300 dollar fine is probably to strict for "gambling," though they do deserve to be punished. Maybe In School Suspension, or After School Detention for a few days at most. Even suspension is kind of strict, but understandable at least.[/code]

A little ironic how merchanting isn't really a skill, yet it takes more skill to do than the "normal skills" such as mining. I think anyone that is against merchants or whatever are either jealous their "skills" can't make them that much money, or they have never tried merchanting before.

Each one will smelt 250 iron ore correct (or at least around there)? When you buy one from someone else, is there a possibility that they used theirs already and when you buy it, you won't get 250 uses? If this is a case, couldn't you use one ring to smelt 5k iron ore as long you traded with your friend every 249?

How are the autoers that auto for levels banned more effectively than ones that auto yews and sell for cash? I doubt 95% of autoers are chinese. Well, at least one month ago. Then, there were a couple autoers every world at rune ess maybe, and now there can be like 100 autoers at yews at a time :shock: . The only thing I could think of for such a jump was, well your thread. Interesting

I can't stand it when people make up stupid words such as: nooblet, pl0z, pwned, or any variation, especially variations of noob. I also hate when people even use noob or owned. Lame and immature in my opinion. :roll:

Like a lot of other people probably, I loved it first two times I saw it. Next two or three it was pretty funny. Then I went to school, and hated it ever since then.

Not to be rude, but I don't understand why anyone would really care :? . Very few people, if any on this forum know you (at least I'm guessing). If anything you should have told your friends via Runescape, which I am sure you have done and that should be enough. To be honest, it's very annoying when every time someone quits they make a topic about it. Almost as annoying as the threads, "my quest 4 a drag chain!!" However, since I bothered to post this I might as well give you the generic post on an unoriginal topic: Good luck in life. First of all, I just wanted to say The_Sith's post was very informative, and filled with good advice :) Having played WoW for about 6 months or more, I would have to disagree with this quote, as The_Sith did. While there might be a lot of teenagers playing this game, I think that the atmosphere the older, more mature players create causes those who would normally be immature to behave in a more civil manner. If someone is spamming the chat with nonsense, there will usually be someone to politely ask them to stop. Immaturity is usually looked down on. Also, if there is an immature playing cussing up a storm in the chat, you can file a complaint, and a GM will contact you usually before you even get off WoW. I leveled my "main," a human warlock, to level 43 in the 6 months or so that I played. On the other hand, my brother mainly worked on his main character and got him to level 60 before I was even in my 30s (we both played on a pvp server). This was because I was in love with the PvP for awhile at least. There is world PvP and there is battlegrounds. World PvP takes place anywhere around the world, as the name suggests. However it is no where near as fun as it used to be (I could go on for a long time about this), so the main PvP is battlegrounds. I had about 3 characters that were only used for battle grounds. Since I don't want to babble on for 10 minutes about BGs, you should just go the the world of warcraft website and read about it yourself. After awhile I started to realize how boring PvP had gotten for me. You die, and you suffer almost no penalty, so on the otherhand, you don't get anything other than honor when you kill someone. Having previously played Runescape for awhile, I missed the rush you would get when you either die, or kill someone and get their loot. I was also tired of spending several hours a day on WoW, and having to force myself to get off. So, I unsubscribed and started playing RS again, where I could play an hour and get off without having to force myself to. Sorry about the disorganization of this post.. I hope it helps :?

Sorry to hear you got scammed, but you are having the perfect attitude about getting scammed. So cheers for that! :D However, if you are going to make a post like this, like others have said, you should have post how you got scammed so we can avoid it in the future. You guys that are making fun of the OP are just plain sad hypocrites.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm really sick of it too. I can't stand it when someone tells me that and they are being serious. If they are joking around, it still gets on my nerves.

The whole HYT and homeworld thing is a very good and useful idea. However, I don't believe it was smart in any way to make world 9 the homeworld. I mean, why pick a world that was crowded as it is, and make it more crowded? The whole HYT thing is cool and all, but maybe Tip It needs to pick a different world.

Oh man, my friend and I used to love fingerboards :D . I probably had like 10-20, but only used like 3 most of the time. I also had a funbox thing and a useless halfpipe. I used to be able to decently ollie, but none of the cool stuff :( . I haven't even looked at my fingerboards for a few years lol, I think I'll do that tomorrow 8) . Btw, hey blood =D

I don't see why you guys feel the need to post the new update before everyone else.. Maybe for a self-esteem boost? As for the update, it was the first one that I have liked in months. However, they don't seem to have noticed yew log cutters. When I went on a f2p world and I was in varrock castle, I look to the north and I see 7 people cutting yews. I look at their level, and they were all level 6 or below :shock: . With the report abuse button, you can only report one person per minute, so it's pretty useless. Maybe it was just like that on the world I was on, but maybe they should improve the report abuse button since they can't be everywhere at once.

I'm a junior in high school, and I'm taking a two period class with oracle and programming(like Java), and I really don't like oracle :? . Though it is starting to get better because we are getting more in depth with the SQL statements and creating tables, instead of creating ERDs. On topic: While I am only a juior in highschool, I have visited about 3 or 4 colleges so far (all in the state of North Carolina). One of the main things that I am looking forward to is the freedom, as some people have mentioned. Walking around and seeing college students having a picnic, throwing the frisbee, or doing anything they want in between classes has been one of the things that has made me look forward to college rather than be apprehensive towards it. Hopefully I will learn some time management by the time I'm in college :) . Another thing that I have been looking forward to is actually being able to learn a subject that I'm interested in. After hearing a lot of things you guys have said, it sounds like you don't really go in depth. Does this just depend on the college/professors or what?
