Yeah, I agree with Danqaz in that it all lies in the context. A good kiss with a partner means a lot more than getting off with randoms in a club or whatever.

I'll drink to that ;) The bears are on me. :shades: *cracks one open* Thats pretty grizzly.

Got a scar across my arm fighting off bears to save orphans from a house fire. Just another day. If it doesn't have to be a recent thing, then I guess getting shown how to powerslide a car. One of the funnest things I've done.

Yeah, trash can.

On a bin related note, "bin juice". That liquid (made of christ knows what) that accumulates in the bin or bin-liner and occasionally leaks when you try to empty the bin.

He'd get my vote for the facial hair alone.

Getting paid to make music (play the drums) would be a kickass job but realistically something like a translator or getting paid to travel about (travel journalist maybe?) would be a pretty good goal. Spending time at Uni doing what I thought I wanted to do when I left school (environmental science type thing) made me realise I don't like it as much as I thought and languages are more up my street which is what I'm now aiming for.

The 458 is a sexy looking car. It was a shame about the whole bursting into flames thing. Thats sorted now though. [hide][/hide]

My current laptop is a Dell and I've had trouble with it right from the start. First it wouldn't connect to our wireless internet, which I think was more a problem with our router and Windows Vista than the laptops wireless card. At the start of the year the power supply and battery stopped working right. When it's plugged into mains electricity, the battery doesn't charge so I'm left with a laptop that can only be used when it's plugged in. For all I use it for it does me fine but I can see the battery thing being a major problem for some people. I bought a Canon printer/scanner which was on offer at christmas last year and for a relatively cheap piece of kit, its worked flawlessly ever since I got it, printing and scanning reports and stuff for Uni. Now my sister uses it and it's still going strong. My parents have a HP printer connected to their desktop and the thing is pretty bad. It constantly reports faults (misfeeds/no paper/no ink) when everything is fine and seems a bit temperamental about when it wants to print your documents. Meh, just my two cents.

Yup, definitely. I got Black Ops a day or two after it came out, expecting to be really into it. I enjoyed the single player but the multiplayer doesn't really do it for me. The spawning system pisses me off when you spawn, run two paces then get killed by some guy behind you. I don't feel theres much differentiation between the guns (maybe thats just me) either and I think the CoD points take away from the acheivement of unlocking gun attachments and camoflages, like in CoD 4, getting 150 headshots to get red tiger instead of just buying it. I'll still play it but it's no CoD4 beater in my book.

I kinda agree here. I don't mind it on supercars and stuff like that but everyday cars, nah. Ford redesigned the body shape of the Fiesta over here which I think spoils the whole look of the car. Could say the same about Volkswagen with the Golf GTi. It's all personal preference though, I just prefer my cars blocky instead of curvy I guess.

Have Gun, Will Travel - Casting Shadows Tall As Giants (album)

Finished work early today as we got issued a severe weather warning and the delivery trucks couldn't reach us because of the snow. I quite like it when it's like this. Heading out sledging later, see if I can recapture some of my childhood.

In the city of York, it is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls, but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow. It's also illegal for a cab in London to carry a rabid dog or a corpse.

Yeah, I go the other way about. I eat the best thing first then leave the worst stuff till last. Probably goes back to when I was little when my sister and I would find ways of getting rid of the nasty stuff (cabbage/sprouts etc) without my parents knowing, like hiding it in the fruitbowl until they'd done the washing up then slinging it in the bin. Absolutely daft looking back on it and I can eat most of the stuff now anyway so it's pretty much just habit.

I eat each different part of my meals seperate (say a steak pie, I'd eat the pie then move onto the potatoes and then the carrots). I've got a kind of hierachy in my head (which to be honest I hadn't noticed until I started typing this out) of the order in which I eat each part, carrots always being last. I don't do this for every meal exactly, I'd still eat a curry and rice together for example, I guess it's just meals where the seperate ingredients are obvious. And when I'm having dinner at home, I normally drink my whole glass of water or juice before I start eating, even if I'm not thirsty, then get up halfway through to refill it. I don't really know why I do it, force of habit I guess.

Used cars are just as reliable as brand new, providing they've been looked after alright. Most garages here have a check list of things that need to be in order with the car before they can sell it on again and they usually come with some kind of warranty as well. But yeah, I'd go for the Volkswagen Golf GTi. They're pretty decent cars generally. There's always the Golf R32 as well which is pretty much just a beefier GTi with some added bells and whistles.
