Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
There's restaurants, bars and clubs here that employ people to go out and advertise various offers/discounts or whatever they have on by handing out fliers to people on the street. I was walking through town with a friend today when this girl came up to us with fliers for a bar. "Fancy a drink at [bar] this afternoon, lads?". My friend replied "No thanks, I'm driving" and we kept on walking and as we got a few steps ahead heard her mutter "Ah, go [bleep] yourself then". Jesus christ, trying to get people into your bar then swearing at them when they don't. I'm no business expert but I'm pretty sure thats the wrong way to be going about it.

Battlefield Discussion Thread
Might install BF1942 again after reading this. Dive bombing with Stukas was the [cabbage].

Just the opposite
I can't say the game has affected my will to play as I've just started properly playing again recently but free trade has done nothing for me so far that I couldn't do before, except make it a bit harder to get rid of some stuff on the GE. The pictures of folks winning more money than I've ever had in one 1vs1 fight can be off-putting; I've been trying to raise the money for Herb for ages, I see someone win 300M in a single stake, it makes all the time I've put into skilling for money pale in significance. I just accept that, like gambling, you get lucky now and again and win a big stake. You'll lose a few as well but when you see the picture of someone winning Millions in a fight, you forget all about how much they may have lost before that big win. If people are willing to take the risk gambling fortunes on the outcome of a single fight then fair play to them but it's not for me as I know how much effort I've put into acquiring X amount of cash and the thought of losing all that work in the space of a couple of minutes isn't something I'd fancy going through. I may have went off topic a bit there but hey.

The effects of piracy on artists
I'd rather spend the money I could've used on buying an album on a concert ticket to see a band live than buy the CD if I can get that album free from the internet. I used to buy CDs all the time but my circumstances have changed and I figure I can get the CD download from the internet free, leaving my money free to spend on supporting whichever artist via concerts, gigs and shows.

Dungeoneering's Impact on the Community at Large
Pretty much how I feel as well. I support the OP's idea though, as I feel it is definitely something loads of people could benefit from, myself included.

01-Feb-2011 - Return of the Wilderness
I'm the same at the minute, but with Mining instead of Dungeoneering. I'll make some money selling the ores once the prices have settled as I have no interest in merchanting at the minute at all.

Non-Valentines...
Yeah, seems to be more a thing for girls. All my guy friends, both in couples and single, don't give two [bleep]s about it whereas most of my female friends/friends girlfriends are either of the "It really sucks being single on valentines day" or "I hope he does something romantic..." mindsets. As for me, I don't care either way.

Egyptian revolution live feed
Saw some of the news coverage for this in the pub earlier. Pretty crazy stuff with loads of people pelting army trucks with rocks and such, cars on fire and all the other traditional signs of a massive nationwide riot.

Soccer is the Greatest Sport
It's probably my favourite sport (apart from some motor-racing) to watch and definitely my favourite to play. It's the sport with the biggest following here without a doubt. I couldn't care if people prefer baseball, rugby or American football, it's all personal preference anyway. Whatever floats your boat.

Food
I'm not a big fan. Too overpriced here anyway. Nutella is the [cabbage] though. Had Haggis for dinner last night, seeing as it was Robert Burns night here. Despite what people (and wikipedia) might tell you, it's sounds pretty horrible but really is quite nice.

Today...
Yeah, what the hell does that say? "Thought you might have got 1st and that"?. I've got a couple of friends who text like that. They spell stuff exactly how they'd say it, slang words and all. Also missing out vowels to make the words shorter but in return making them incomprehensible. Pfft.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Christ alive... Thought it was a hyper-active teenager at first but the woman looks like shes 30. Looked like a nice apartment though, apart from the turqoise paint and the (probable) iron bars on the windows.

02 Mitsubishi Eclipse?
Yeah, this really is something to watch out for. Be extra careful if the seller admits it has been in an accident before and make sure you have a look through the full car history before you buy it (the paperwork from the garages everytime it's had something fixed) to make sure it all checks out. If the engine is custom/rebuilt, make sure it says this and checks out in the car's history and mention it when you go to insure the car if you do get it. I'm not sure how American car insurance works but a custom engine over here would likely put your insurance costs up and if you haven't declared it and get into a collision, it could void your insurance policy meaning you wouldn't get a bean.

Bombing at Moscow Domodedovo Airport
Possibly Chechen rebels or something. There was a suicide bombing done by them sometime early last year in Moscow which killed a bunch of people. It's a sad state of affairs, whoever done it.

What are you listening to right now!?
Mumford and Sons - Sigh No More (abum). On a bit of a banjo/folky kick recently.

How to come up with a signature?
I just write my name a little bit fast. It looks [developmentally delayed]ed as all hell and nothing like either of my parents signatures (kinda looks like how I used to write when I first learned to write) but it's too late to change it now.

Coachella 2011
Haha that was the first name I noticed. A few bands I wouldn't mind seeing but yeah, it's in America so no.

Food
This. I can't remember the specific name of them (MacIntosh red apples maybe?) but there's these red, shiny apples my mum gets sometimes and they're delicious. Really juicy. At the minute I'm on a pineapple kick. Had a slice on a gammon steak last night then ate the rest of it for dessert.

Gamble! risk it and try something new, you might like it! Yeah, take the gamble. I wasn't a big fan of Indian food until I found myself in a situation similar to yours. Ended up ordering something I thought I'd had before, turned out not to be what I thought it was but I ate it anyway and it was amazing.

Cars
The Range Rover Evoque looked pretty unusual, not too sure if I like it or not. Looks a lot like the Audi Q7.

Consumerism thread
I can't say I own a pair of sandals, this being Scotland and all. As for trainers, at the minute I've got a pair of converse, some Adidas Cieros, blue Adidas Campus and a black and white pair of Etnies Santiagos. Other shoes I have are two pairs of "dressy" leather shoes, one pair slip on the other with laces which I wear to work, my old work safety boots and a pair of hiking boots.

The actual TRUTH of actual reality
I'm here, I'm real and I've no idea what the initial point of this topic was. Looks to me like someones got nice and baked and stumbled across some philosophy pages on Wikipedia and decided to start shouting the odds on a Runescape gaming forum.
