  1. I agree with this completely. Give the true PKers something and tell the greedy ones to sit down. This would fix ridiculous prices/inflation, but I also believe that new (and expensive!) defensive items should be added to counteract everyone with Dragon Claws/Godswords running around killing everybody. Hey, maybe they could bring the potions back too. :P Also, hide EP. The whole 'sit around until you have 100' business isn't what PvP should be about.
  2. So like 50 people whine and they take the potions out of PvP, and hundreds of people protest that and they do nothing? Why not just get rid of normal worlds since PKers and merch clans are the only people that matter, Jagex?
  3. I think without a TD that Runescape is the same as the Washington Redskins. Ba dum pssssh. But TD games are fun so I guess if it could be integrated cleverly it should be implemented.
  4. I know it's not exactly the 50k at a time we had with infinite stock, but before infinite stock people had to buy 10 at a time. Think about how magic or even fly fishing was then.
  5. Oddment1 shall now become...Oddment. In your face, you inactive unranked, oddment, you.
  6. When I first made my house, it was a complete mess. Then, once I got 70 construction, I redid it so that I had a gilded alter, a study, 2 portal rooms, and a throne room on the main level, nothing else. Then everything else went downstairs. If I come back and have a good amount of munies, I'll probably re-make it again so that I can have a summoning obelisk close by.
  7. They need to add skyboxes so we can pilot airships at level 95 sailing.
  8. Jagex should do a huge and drastic update like this. Maybe just update the in-game's current events, like assassinate a few leaders or throw in a few random armies/enemies, re-work skills even if people whine (they're going to whine no matter what), and change the landscape.
  9. 5/10, but it would be 7/10 if the Corp Beast gave a congrats message.
  10. Grats! It looks like you're working on Cooking too, get that to 99 too! 7/10 for 99 firemaking, 8/10 for F2P because even if it does train exactly the same I don't have the patience for anything F2P myself.
  11. so THAT'S is the source of over 9000 joke? DBZ?! i wonder how jagex reached that kind of stuff lol. about gods: if lucien, that isn't god yet, with only staff of armadyl, summoned 2 td's, he's at least 900 (combined their combat lvls) plus 255 to every skill stone of jas wich adds 357, so at least 1257 combat. he's not over 9000 YET so no risk now for him being god \ i always wondered that too and was going to quote till my net died, but it's a famous meme anyway not just on here, i think :/ About the whole Lucien's combat level, you need to consider that the summoning level would be what resulted in the tormented demons, and when you (as a player) summon a level 188 familiar it doesn't mean you have 188 summoning. If someone could figure out the scale for how the combat levels of familiars progress as your summoning level increases, then we might get Lucien's summoning level.
  12. Jagex Limited makes RuneScape. :P
  13. Do you think if someone hooked enough monitors together they could see all of Runescape?
  14. Summer's End and MEP2 probably were the hardest quests I've ever had to do. I mean, MM and DT were hard but I blame it on the co-o-o-o-o-ombat level (and that I forgot water spells for the smoke diamond boss). MEP2 is a pain no matter what level you are, and Summer's End sent me running around in circles for my life. That was actually the only quest in recent memory that I died doing. More stuff like that would be great.
  15. 1. PvP in general. Old PvP was like Fight Club, the first rule was that you don't talk about the wilderness. Now you have EP, safe zones, hot zones, 1-item worlds, bounty worlds, normal PvP worlds, statuettes, etc. Jagex really made PvP into a cluster...duck. We don't need a billion new updates, we need one update that straightens it out, gives PKers fair drops while balancing the economy, make benefits to actually PKing instead of DRAGON CLAW RUSH LOLOLOLOL, and stop the pointless sitting around for EP. 2. Magic and how weak it is. Skilled people like Muggi can be devastating with it, but any random nooblet with a few million GP and Protect Item can rush with claws and kill people twice as fast with not even half as much skill. Don't forget Range, which hits almost as ridiculously high as melee. Miasmic spells need to be added to the normal ancient spellbook and Zurial's staff can have a special attack instead. The damage cap could be lifted, and instead there would be a base max damage that would increase based on your level. For example, at 99 magic you might be able to hit 6 with a Wind Strike instead of 2. 3. The quest rewards lately. I remember back when I did Great Brain Robbery and got my anchor, or being so excited to finish Monkey Madness so I could use the Dragon Scimitar. I can't imagine any aspiring young low levels saying "I want to get the slayer level for Aquanites so I can do the Rag and Bone Man's wishlist and go kill the Skeletal Horror for like 3k exp a week!". The recent Majarrat quests have been great for story expansion but there needs to be some kind of item reward instead of just "Quest Complete! Have 2 QP and a crapton of EXP! Oh, and a pretty storyline expansion that won't be resolved until the sequel, where you can get your next crapton of EXP!". WGS was an amazing reward, except that any average Joe who doesn't even know who Lucien is can use Dragon Claws, or wear a Dragon Platebody. 4. Merchanting clans. The GE was designed to allow for fair fluctuations in supply and demand, yet when I see Fire Talismans go up by 3000 coins I have to wonder where the fair fluctuation in demand is coming from. Not to mention, the leaders of the clans are gettin' that A-rab money, while the clan members and everyone else in the game feel the consequences. It's a pyramid scheme, it's a scam. Bernie Madoff got 150 years in prison for this, why can't Chessy018? (she owes me 10k too) 5. No variety. I take an Obby Sword to Basilisks for Slayer and suddenly I'm a nooblet because I don't have a whip or a dragon scimitar. I had more than enough money to buy one, but I wanted to be different. There needs to be a wider variety of options for the best armor, instead of just Bandos, Ahrims, and Armadyl (respectively for each combat skill). On that note also, where's the better, non-degrading Magic armor?
  16. I have to agree with you. I had never had more than 300k until I started doing Barrows, and then I got 10m in a week (warspear + like 5 other drops makes me happy :D ).
  17. Roglord Anyone seen him lately?
  18. The next guy to do it needs to get chat pics. :D
  19. So is there any story to go with the skeletal horror, Plagues? Like is it some kind of majarrat or minion, or is it just some old dude's revived pet thing?
  20. Grats on all your boobies exp! Keep going to 99!
  21. Notice how it says 'some of their games' not just Runescape. BOUNCEDOWN: ATTACK OF THE NORBS Starring Tom Hanks Rated PG-13, in theaters friday
  22. Just turn your chat on friends when you PK. :D
  23. When I first joined Runescape, I remembered not knowing how to talk. I just wandered around for 3 days in silence while people called me a noob. A few weeks in, there was a holiday event and I got the scarves, hats, and marionettes. Things went on from there... - I remember when Climbing Boots were the strength gear of the day. I had a stack of like 25 climbing boots in my bank until they added strength bonuses to Rune and Addy boots. - The Warrior's Guild came out and there was nothing there after the update. - The first update I remember was the Mage Training Arena and some desert quest. - 6/6/06! I was like level 54 and I was running around hiding and praying some scary PKer wouldn't freeze me and make me lose my precious boater hat. - Experiments being the best melee training. - The set of treasure trail updates that released boaters, firelighters, and (maybe?) God dragonhide. - Barrows was actually a great moneymaker. Before I started doing it, I had no money until I got a Torag Plate which sold for 1M. - The Leaf Spear scam, which was taken away the VERY DAY I got my first spear. The price on it went up by like 1-2m. - Construction came out...and there was much rejoicing. I got it up to 54 in the first few weeks and then abandoned it until Warspear money let me continue to 70. - The release of RFD and the ensuing heart attack over EWMAHGAWD BARROWS GLOVES. - Hunter came out. I think some people cared but IDK. - Trying to beat up Elvarg (the lame graphic elvarg) with a granite maul and getting 1-hit for 57 damage. - Killing Lesser Cow-head Demons and being so excited when I got a rune med. - Green Dragon PKers. I remember one of my friends was friends with this obnoxious merchant. I went in their CC and said merchanting was lame, and then while killing greens I got swarmed by like 5 people. I was teleblocked and out of run energy, so I tanked them walking all the way back to edgeville. - Having to cower in fear every time I did a clue scroll because I could get attacked and 2-speced by some crazy pure. - Abyss PKing and the Abyss PKers. It was annoying to do enough damage to make them run and then pick up pouches. - - The Mage Bank. - Merchanting by buying runes from shops for low prices and selling them in W2. - World 2 and the chaos that it was. - MASSIVE RIOTS! All the time, pretty much. Swiftswitch, wildy, etc. - The Shadow Sword miniquest. - Pest Control coming out. - Looting GWD the first day it came out. I am a high level noob at heart. - Mith Dragons and barely being able to kill a single one. - Giving my friend my 2,300 Gold Bars from 70 smithing the day before free trade went away. I've kind of been around the block. Maybe around 3 sides of it.
