Apparently, they had (3) samples. The first was "contaminated", 2nd was human, and 3rd was possum (taken from the intestine, so they claim possibly because the creature had eaten a possum). As much as I'd love to see real evidence come out, I think this is a hoax. There's a lot of inconsistancies in their stories and apparently this Tom Biscardi has been involved with some hoaxes in the past (he wasn't behind them but was a part of them). From what I've read, he's considered kind of a huckster in the Bigfoot research community. My prediction is that the body will somehow mysteriously "disappear" or get destroyed before real scientists are allowed to examine it (which is supposed to happen on Monday). If bigfoot is supposed to be cross between a human and monkey, why would it be eating possums? Guess Bigfoot's a redneck ;)

#1: Were you raised to follow one particular religion? I'm a Catholic. #2: Did that religion teach you that the only real religion in existance was, indeed, that religion, and anybody who didn't follow said religion's teachings was immoral? Going down a path of damnation? Just plain wrong? Nope. I was taught that as long as you lived a moral life, no matter what you called God, as long as you can accept that there may be an all knowing out there and try to be good in your lifetime, you're just as worthy for heaven as any Christian. #3: Have you ever questioned your religion, or at least thought about ideas that other religions are based on and agreed with them? Unfortunatly, I have questioned my faith before. I'm going to a public high school and took health in summer school to get it out of the way. In a private school it might have taught abstinence only. However, in a public school I had to listen to forms of birth control that I didn't believe were moral, and other issues I don't fully agree with. It gets hard for me, constantly reminding myself to stay true to my faith, when society is saying you can have premarital sex as long as you use proper birth control, etc.

I think they said they'd release it in a press conference... which was supposed to be today. Maybe a postponement as I predicted. I hate how so far every bit of evidence for monsters is either fake or unconclusive -.-

  16. As reaper said, handing out the money won't do anything but bring a temporary end to the suffering, which inevitably continues again. Africa can't rely on charity. We need to (cliche alert) help them help themselves. Giving food won't solve anything, they'll starve sooner or later again. But giving them the land, and seeds, and animals to give a continuous source of food is much better. But with all the corruption, improper use of natural resources, it will take a lot more than 300m to solve everything.
  17. As a bunch of others before me have said, Scary Movie was the only decent spoof movie. I too am getting tired of these half baked ideas that simply throw together plots from different movies and adding puns and people getting hurt. Its like the producers ran out of ideas and use this thing as a last resport. I'm really hoping this Disaster movie will be (bad pun alert) a disasterous movie. Maybe a box office flop will teach these producers a lesson.

  19. Reading through some of Clare's and Serepherus's posts, I have almost completely revised my views on transgenders. I had no idea it was an actual mental syndrome with that part of the brain thing. I just thought it was the person's choice because he/she thought the opposite sex was cooler :| . Now I'm sure there are transgenders out there who became one just because they had the urge, not because of the whole mind syndrome thing. Those people I still disagree on their views. Those kinds of people are the people who bring people suffering with the mental syndrome a bad name. However, if it helps stop your unhappiness in life, stops you from contemplating/attempting suicide, and makes you more positive in general and helps you cope with your disorder, I say why not?
