I don't do allotments anymore, either. I have watermelons out my ears, enough to supercompost for ages. If I was only doing farming/herb, I might consider planting allotments. But I am doing some other skills and allotments just make the runs too much longer. You can do normal trees dirt cheap if you are willing to work with oaks/acorns. At your level, acorns have more pop than they do for someone in the higher levels.

Making mahogany planks is great. Equip a mud staff, buy alot of astrals and mahogany logs, and remember to have some cash left. Astral rune = 154 gp Mahogany logs = 194 gp Money for making = 1050 gp Mahogany plank = 1581 gp (1050 + 154 + 194) = 1398 gp 1581 - 1398 = 183 gp MADE EACH PLANK. And btw, yes I'm quite sure mahogany planks sell. Not instantly, but they do. Edit: Obviously, this is after 90. 80-90 I'd do a mix of alching, metal dragons and MTA. You forgot to include the cost of the nature rune, which turns this into a money loser. :shame: 2 astrals + 1 nature + 1 mahogany log + 1050 gp.

I forget the respawn time, but it's on par with most other NPCs/monsters. You can easily camp for keys. The headache comes at cash-in time when you start running back and forth from the chest to the bank. You can only carry 3 keys, unless you are willing to drop the harralanders - then you can carry 4. I acquired a pile of keys recently through magpie jars, and it was a royal pain making all those runs to the chest.

I see it a lot too - but it's because I have the ImgLikeOpera plug-in installed in Firefox. :twisted: It's quite handy for blocking out imageshack, photobucket, and any other URL people use for dial-up choking media files.

Without an indicator of trading volume, those graphs are pretty useless. It is one of the great flaws of the GE - you can't see how many of something changed hands. There's no way to snapshot demand for any item - coal, uncut gems, party hats, etc. You guys aren't so much "investing" in rares & virtual commodities as you are gambling on whether they will rise and fall. There's a big huge difference. You might as well be flipping coins to make your buy/sell decisions.

The agility guide is good. I also use Larry's penguin points, genie lamps and Mordaut books for agility.

If you can use the fairy rings, there are a few teaks near ring BKP. You can cut at no cost and sell for pure profit. It's a bit far to run to CW bank, but I guess you could do it that way with super energy pots.

Here are your choices: South East Etceteria West of Draynor (east of Port Sarim) Northeast of Brimhaven There isn't really a standout choice. You can get to Misc/Etc by the ring network, to Port Sarim by the cabbage teleport and to Brimhaven from the Shilo travel cart (Shilo with the Karamja gloves). As the gloves are probably the hardest to get, I'd say Brimhaven. But really, the spirit tree patches don't add a lot to your existing transportation choices. Note to Planet Jagex: How about a new spirit tree patch - Lunar Isle would be an ideal place.

You can always sell them to the Varrock Rogue if you completed that part of Summer's End. He will only buy strung amulets though. Since you are f2p, you could bank them and save them for when you ever get members.

If you can get into the Warrior's Guild, you can buy unlimited plain pizzas for 200 each, add pineapple rings and resell them in the GE for approx. 500 gp. You'll get 52 xp per pizza for topping them (195 - 143), and you can't burn them. As long as you slice the pineapples instead of dicing them, you can do 4 pizzas for each pineapple. :mrgreen:

Al Kharid is decent in F2P, if you are not into firelighting. At the GE, there is almost always someone training firemaking, so you don't always have to light your own fires. I did my powercooking at the Rogue's Den, personally.

The helmet is re-smithable; you can safely drop it.

Oops, I guess I broke the law then. I listened to a few songs on the radio today and didn't buy the rights to listen to them. No, that's fine. Artists get royalty money for each time a song is played on the radio (specifically, I believe it's the songwriters who get paid, not the entire band). They don't get paid when songs are shared on the net, either as downloads or as soundtracks to other people's video.

The clear winner tonight is Fred Armisen. He gets to be on SNL for 4 years impersonating Obama. Darrell Hammond loses because he was McCain, but he's been on there for so long he probably welcomes the break. Hillary Clinton is the big loser, as this win pretty much slams the door on any chance she has left to be the CiC. =D> Always look on the bright side of life....

I could do without them all. IMO, if they were going to just pull out all the randoms, don't you think they would have done so? How complicated could it be to just turn off the triggers? It seems to me that they are going to rework them somehow rather than completely remove them.

That's odd. I have been making oak doors today, and my butler brings me planks in 20s. I thought the larders took 8 planks. EDIT - :wall: :wall: :wall: I am using the human butler. I guess that explains it.

Of course you can't use an artist's music without permission. Look at it this way. If I wanted to download some MP3s, I could just go to YouTube and download RuneScape videos and then strip off the audio (an easy thing to do with software). Voila! I've trafficked in bootleg music while pretending to be interested in how to one-hit {Lumbridge goblins|hobgoblins|corporeal beasts|whatever}. Putting copyrighted songs in videos just makes it easier to traffic them and that's why video-sharing sites pull them down.

Part of the charm of Runescape is the fact that is is so British. If you have ever watched travel shows on TV, you will see the public houses, standing stones, castles, etc. that you have seen in RuneScape. I'm Anerican and I hate to see RuneScape lose its British flavor.

If you want to do prayer on the cheap, you could always kill ghasts. If you are super-cheap, you can go to world 60 and follow the Mort Myre penguin. Let the penguin hunters use their druid pouches and then you bogart all the ghasts. :thumbsup:
