Your phone: is it your property?
Bought a Samsung E2120 for 40 a month ago or so, my old one was dying... Well, the battery was. And that one was from 04, so thought i might as well buy a new one. I carry it with me all the time, but i'm no cell-phone freak as some in my age are. Just use it for sms+calling, don't need much else. If anything, i'm a computer freak. Only thing i don't like with cell-phones are the buttons, i often press down two at once since they are so cramped lol.

If you could have a say on how your tax dollar is spent
Yes I have paid taxes, yes I live in the real world, yes altruism exists. I have faith that humanity is naturally cooperative. I'm a teacher and I would gladly do my job even if I wasn't paid, so long as I am full, healthy and sheltered. You've been in the states too long. Socialism isn't a theory with no value in the 'real world'. People like giving more than they like receiving. I hope you don't cite the US's ongoing position as the global power in support of capitalism and militarism, the world has moved on, the only major wars are in the middle east and that is because the US has been dropping bombs on mosques almost constantly for 21 years. Its realistic and true that the world would be a better place without military. The American 'Defence' force, what a joke Socialism is [cabbage], and you know it. I'd never want to pay 70-80% taxes, no way. And it's a bit ridiculous statement as well. If you earn 2k € a month, how do you plan on living on 400€? Is the government going to pay your electric bills, food etc... So you're going to turn the country into communistic? I think so. My country already has the highest taxes in the world, everything here is going to hell still. Ok, no wars sounds nice and all. But please go tell the Russians, North Koreans or the Iranians that?

If you could have a say on how your tax dollar is spent
Employ more teachers, nurses and police. Drop public funding for museums (apart from those that have a historic value, i.e. drop "modern art" etc) and media. Strengthening the army, once they've revised how spending is done to make it more effective without having five billion employed on the administrative side. Also re-open two or three former air force bases. Drop free health care and uni-studies for foreigners. Temporarily stop all immigration unless it's people who are seeking employment in an area that needs to employ to sort out all of ours problems. Tighten the rules and regulation about welfare. Dropping public service tv which claims to be "free television (i.e. no political agenda)", you americans have a problem with FOX (at least many of the liberals), and it's the same thing with our tax funded tv channel (yes i know FOX is not tax funded..) only the other way around, it's not a right agenda, it's a left agenda. Lower taxes for businesses, particularly small businesses. Remove the mandatory tax payment for a public health insurance if you are paying a private one.

6-Core Desktop Processors
They have already existed for servers for some time, so it's no big step to release them for the public as well. Even if i were i doctor, i'd never spend 1k $ on a cpu. The AMD's are really well-priced.

Where you live ...
Sweden, small town (6k), about an hours drive from Stockholm. The area where we live has become a rich area during the years lol, we bought it for 70k € now our house is worth 200k. Good investment from my parents hehe, altho they'll move in a year. Currently i'm hunting work, i'll go for uni next year. But all in all, i want to get out of here. For instance, on the bus home from the city (been at the pub) tonight, i saw an old old old buddy (used to be best friends 12-14 years ago) screwing around on the bus and acting like a clown (real piss [wagon] drunk), two feelings; 1 - knock the teeth out so he shuts up, 2 - ugh... I still see these people? Damn far i've moved (irony). And i also don't like what my country has become. So, local and national reasons for watning to move. Destination? Germany if i could choose.

Abortion in Canada
Orphanages and foster homes are overcrowded as it is. Rather than putting more kids in them, we need more pro lifers to adopt instead of conceiving their own child. I would rather live in an overcrowded foster home than never live. Bit difficult to decide whether you live or not lol. I don't think you'd be very happy in a Russian or Ukrainian orphanage compared to a Australian or French one. The country where you end up is very important too.

Abortion in Canada
Think this was up a couple of weeks ago, about abortion. Abortion should always be legal, it's the women who in the end has to go thru with it. However, i don't think abortion should be used as a birth control.

UK Politics Discussion
What about their immigration politics don't you like? (just a question - don't know enough about UK to give you a pro/no reply) What I don't like, not sure if this is the same for Hex, is how they've cleverly made people think that the arbitrary cap on immigration applies to ALL immigrants, not just non-EU ones. So yeah, cap non-EU immigrants. It's not going to do a THING to stop immigration from the EU. At least your parties are willing to do something.

Ethics classes trialled in opposition to Religious Education in NSW.
That'd be pretty stupid. Removing it would only result in people being even more ignorant about religions other than their own, if any (and even then...). But it's important that they're not trying to shove it down peoples' throats, but instead teach the different principles of all the different major religions in a factual and unbiased manner. That's what they did in my high school, and religion quickly turned into one of my favourite classes. Mm hehe. Since we have live in the same country, i think you'd loved the teacher i had. He was a fan of Burzum and BM in general. It was interesting to have more in common with him than the rest of the people in the class and then a couple of hours later having him to talk about Jesus.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Rebound Good movie, some sort of "feel good" theme. I can very much relate to this movie. The last 10min was a bit weird tho, because all of the sudden the dude was 30 and had adopted some kid. And Zeta Jones looks damn good.

Favorite sayings.
"It is always more difficult to fight against faith than against knowledge." Adolf Hitler "The victor will never be asked if he told the truth." Adolf Hitler "I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." Albert Einstein

Today...
That's just a little silly, anyone who's a good partner would tell their other half about such a thing anyway. Yes, most likely. But if the nutcases get the power, it won't be illegal to not tell. And, how about giving blood? And i also think the chance of winning a court case when suing the person who transferred it will be reduced dramatically. They also want to reduce the sentence for transferring HIV.

Today...
Ok, now i'm seriously pissed off. I just read on the telly-text that if the red triad wins the (Sweden) election in autumn, they will "Remove the law of informing your partner that you carry HIV. We think it violates the integrity of the carrier." Yuck! I don't agree with anything they say they are going to "fix" if they win, but this.... God damn it, you can't be straight in the head if you think it's a good idea! Argh!!!

My Graphics Card Sucks.
Without pushing ATI too much, 4670 have the advantage of using 55w max (pci-e connector not needed). I've already mentioned it, but once again, open your case and check what the label says and write the specs here. Here's two suggestions otherwise: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139008 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371023

Favorite alcoholic beverage?
Only strong stuff i like is Kosenkenkorva Salmiakki. I drink lager when i want to get drunk, else i drink ale/stout/bitters. One that i like, but which my friends like is Newcastle Brown... Had a few when i was 16 and on holiday in England and liked it since. I like Guinness but i never order it at the pub since it seems that they water it and it tastes like [cabbage]. One that i dislike, i had one mouthful and then emptied the bottle: Krušovice. A bit of name dropping: Spitfire, Murphy's, Kilkenny, "x-mass/easter beers", Abbot Ale, Bishops Finger, Bombardier etc. There's an enormous amount that still needs to be covered.

2011/12 Football Season
Liverpool's next season will be interesting. You can be happy atleast that the club is up for sale. I wonder, Liverpool will need a massive overhaul on squad and finances... And Benitez future no one seems to know. Man City will spalsh the cash in the summer, however... Since they are "only" in EL they won't be able to attract every player they want, but i do think they will be immensly dangerous for 4th spot. And what i wonder is, will Liverpool have the finances to get back to the 4th spot? Spurs (since i assume they'll make the qualifiers) will have some cash too, but their budget isn't too rosy either. And if Villa will open the wallet once again... The 4th spot will be quite an open race. I don't think Arsenal will be threatened, they only need a couple of new players and they will be a contender. Fun with Newcastle and West Brom back again. I hope Cardiff grabs 3rd, miss Wales in PL. And, Millwall or Leeds to the Championship.

UK Politics Discussion
The Democratic Unionists are only present in Northern Ireland which is why the have so few votes but so many seats, similarly with Plaid Cymru and the SNP who are only in Wales and Scotland respectively and have low vote numbers but have 9 seats between them. Clegg comes across as one of the most decent guys in politics and I hope he becomes PM one day although that will only happen if we change the voting system. I know that, but what i'm getting at is that it's not representative for what the people of UK think.
