  1. I still don't understand why they removed the potions from minigames :( They're safe PvP, so it shouldn't matter  I was looking forward to using the potions at Castle Wars... (once I got the appropriate Herblore level, was planning to get 91, but I don't know anymore)
  2. Ah I see. I currently don't have the MA rank for imbued rings, so I didn't know that it doesn't cost anything to imbue them. I thought it costed a big amount of credits or whatever those are called. This could be used very well as an argument against this update. And about barrows gloves: you lose them upon death. Anyways, now I'm leaving... It's just the same arguments repeated over and over :P
  3. By that attitude, cooking fish helps you in Pvp to stay alive. We MUST add cooking levels to PVP. People who fletch their own bows must have their combat levels incrased. People who craft their own dragonhide armour MUST have their combat levels incrased. ETC. Jagex really need to completely rework how combat works in Runescape, making it much less random and having it actually represent what levels you have in your combat skills. Armour needs to reduce the max hit of someone attacking you. I fail to see how someone can hit a 75 on me when i'm wearing no armour, and still do the same when i'm in full Statius? In this case, Herblore gives you a clear advantage that others do not have, and therefore should add to your Combat Level. The ability of cooking Monks doesn't give you an advantage: a player with a lower cooking level could just buy the cooked Monks off the GE. I think removing the pots from PvP is a good thing, however, removing them from Minigames as well was a stretch too far. Void is untradeable so that should be allowed in PvP? As is anchor. Unradeable doesn't mean they can't be used in PvP thats just a poor, poor excuse which people are using because they don't like having a disavantage in PvP. If they made supers untradeable would it be unfair? Nope its all part of player development, when I started pre-GE and trade limits the only real way to get potions was to make them yourself. You either brought in bulk, had to repeatedly go to world 2 or make them yourself. Don't you lose imbued rings upon death? Don't you lose void upon death? Seems you two either missed my point or don't understand the concept of risk vs. reward. Edit: Oh and sure, the potions are lost upon death, but what is that compared to void or imbued rings? You don't lose the time you've spent on leveling your herblore up.

Cooked fish, bows and dragonhide armour are all tradeable, just sayin'. And about the full Statius thing, you lose the items upon death. It's a risk vs. reward system. You don't lose Herblore levels upon death. Anyways, I'm not trying to get into an argument here really, I'm just stating facts. I'm neutral with this update, and don't really care, since I don't PK much these days anyway.
  5. Removing them from minigames is taking it a bit far...
  6. I'm going to buy this game once I got the time to play. I'll join you guys then (the ones on a European server) :)
  7. Agreed :D I really liked that picture.
  8. Herblore now has use!
  9. I found this post on the RSOF by RankWinner which sounds like a very good theory to me: So yeah, as you may know from their twitter, Jagex had a company meeting today :P As for the combo part... We'll just have to see about that :D
  10. I was very happy when I first heard this :D Stellar Dawn is a much better name than MechScape.
  11. Sounds great. I wonder how many servers there will be and how much they'll cost to "rent" though.

  13. PKing is extremely important to me. But I have spent more time skilling/training combat skills than PKing, thus I voted for spending most of my time skilling in RS :wall:

  15. Quests in RS are awesome :
  16. I got about 40 ping as my lowest, at the UK servers :) Good thing W84 is my home world.
  17. It's hilarious how people have such a hard time finding the option to change the cursor  No offence to anybody.
  18. Hmm, my graphics are messing up a little. Good thing I'm not really planning to play RS right now, so I can see if the bugs and stuff have been fixed later on.
  19. Well, Moets Killa and Paard02 are both in the highscores, with different stats.
  20. I tried this a few times a year back, and sometimes it worked slightly! You have to lie down in a relaxed position and use a good pair of earphones/headphones (and shutting your eyes helps). And who cares if it might be placebo, as long as it works I'm fine  Hmm, I might try some again. I kind of got a little disappointed that it only worked slightly, but I guess that the more you do it, the more effect it'll have as you get used to doing this or something.
  21. Cataclysm may look cool, but it actually isn't all that cool. It's basically the same thing as the past 2 expansions but glorified. But I guess since they haven't released much info, I shouldn't be saying much. And also I thought it looked great at first, but I'm bored of WoW.
  22. My Observations: WoW for a Month: I kind of agree there. Although I played WoW for about half a year, but it got boring after that and too addicting (boring + addicting = bad combo). My preference is RS.
  23. I help them, because the game ends faster then. And I generally tend to help people.
  24. Yep, I feel the same. But it's a new era. And as you said, that kind of creates "specialization" in the game, which is kind of an RPG thing. Could be a good thing in some ways. The newbs might start playing in different ways than we do (like not training certain skills, only for quest reqs, etc.). But yeah, it sort of feels boring :?
  25. Lvl 76 :) I haven't played it in a long time though.
