When the godswords first came out I thought it was really odd that they didn't require 80 attack. But I guess when the new lvl 80-90 equipment comes out it won't make a difference.

Getting EP up in a normal PvP or BH world is really easy, so I don't see how this could make it easier. I would support this but Jagex have made quite a few new quests that take place in the Wilderness after PKing was removed from the Wilderness. So it would cause some to be very frustrated while questing. Although I wouldn't mind, I'm always up for a challenge, and I think it would be rather fun to do a quest in the wild with PvP.

This was what I feared... :( That was one of those special things about magic in pvp. Like a kind of semi special attack.

Does anyone know the criteria Jagex used for deleting old display names? It seems the name I wanted was not recently taken as a display name, but is still some old account that has been left by someone to gather dust.

Constitution update "not RuneScape like"? In what way does the constitution update change any of the gameplay at all?

The hitpoints update really makes me wonder what the new combat update could be... (assuming they updated hitpoints because of the combat update that is coming up sometime).

I think it would be better for the economy if they made the bonus exp for resource skills only, and not buyables (eg. Fishing, Woodcutting, Runecrafting). Although that would somewhat mess with the economy as well and all the players in RuneScape would be concentrating on the resource skills causing lots of spots to be overfilled... Oh well, we'll see how it goes :mellow:

Yeah I'll play it every now and then. I didn't particularly like it in the beginning, but I gave it a chance and I find it's actually quite nice to play every now and then :)

Sounds like Jagex are doing the Kuradal thing again, but with Farming instead of Slayer.

Well I got a higher total level than both of you, and I can still find many fun things in RS to do besides grinding and doing new updates (minigames as one example stated above). But each to his/her own I guess :P

You guys and updates, seriously :P Go play 99.9% of the game that isn't part of the update if you don't like an update. Your membership would not be wasted because the updates for that month of membership would be bad, you still got 99.9% of the game :)

Wow, I'm really looking forward to the new skill and such coming soon! But I'm kind of hoping that it will come right before the summer, since I got so much work to do these days... Oh well, it'll all be there after I'm done anyways :D

I can't wait to try it out! :D Even though it might not be my type of game, it is exciting to try something new by Jagex.

What are they going to say? "RuneScape, a huge free game played by many!!! Also has a subscription function which is 5$ a month" or something along those lines? Sounds a bit weird. The thing is, they're not lying, they're telling the truth but not the whole truth. And fact is, once a person goes onto the RuneScape site, it is inevitable that they will find out that there is also an additional subscription option. So it's not as if some free players are oblivious to members' and think that it's a 100% free game.
