Recipe For Disaster Gloves
Completing all 10 subquests unlocks up the RFD gloves up to Dragon Gloves. You need to kill the Culinaromancer to unlock the Barrow Gloves.

Question about crafting cosmics
The nearest bank to Fairy Ring would be Edgeville. It may not be practical to use the Fairy Rings to make Cosmics though. You'll be using precious time dialing the Fairy Ring while you could have ran to the Zanaris bank. Do what works for you.

Why use iron knives?
I agree that iron knives are good for "power training" but I'll have to disagree that they're terrible for slayer. They are decent to use for slayer if you're killing a low levelled monster. You can easily make them yourself and make a large quantity of them rather quickly. Unfortunately, iron knives are low quality and thus they'll be breaking more often then higher quality metals. In this case, we can hope that quantity wins over quality.

~ Celestrana: Making of a Hero ~
As some of you can see, my combat stats have gone up a few levels since I've been recently training slayer. I'm hoping I'll get my slayer level to lvl-62 by the end of the week and maybe get a good slayer monster to kill instead of the "other guys". I'm sort of disappointed at Chaeldar's assignments. Give me more slayer monsters! Plus, I have terrible luck with item drops and when I do have a half-decent item drop, it's rarely a slayer item.

Your dreams about RuneScape...
I dream of no autoers/macroers, no n00bs, and no gold farmers. If you have dreams about a RuneScape item then that's sad, that's real sad and you seriously need to get your priorities in order.

Obtaining swamp tar in bulk
I'm absolutely certain the Mort'ton store sells swamp paste and not swamp tar, since the swamp paste is used to rebuild the Temple. You can also pickpocket the Cave Goblins in Dorgesh'Kaan but you won't be getting Swamp Tar 100% of the time. Cave Slimes are probably one of the easiest ways to get Swamp Tar.

This Is Getting Out of Hand
Old PC, new PC, it's all the same to me since I don't play it anyways. :| The update is considered game balancing, or at least that's what it should be called. The people who complain/riot/protest are those who are not willing to adapt to change, which is a normal reaction that people exhibit when something familiar is suddenly different. I also think it's rather pathetic that some F2P players would sign up for one month of membership purely on the pretense of training their character at PC (the old one) just so they can churn out a "1337 PKer" that they can use in F2P worlds when their membership runs out. I agree with the view of the RSCers in that people should use the "traditional" combat training method of grinding hordes of monsters. That was how ye ol' dungeon crawlers worked and I definitely found that method of training more fulfilling than repetitively playing a mini-game. Occassionally, a Gelatinous Cube would spew out the body of a long dead adventurer and I get my hands on a few useful vials of Potion of Fire Breath. I miss those days.

Help - Im trying to do quest
You can smith nails on your own. 1 metal bar gives you 15 nails. You'll need these nails to repair the buildings in the town. When you're clearing out the rubble from the basement, you will sometimes get nails, which you should keep so that you can use later. When your bucket is full of rubble, climb up the ladder and you can empty your bucket on a garbage pile outside. The garbage pile is to the south-west of the ladder, next to a broken cart. If you're having trouble with the runehq guide, read our guide instead.

swamp tar places, which is best?!?
Go into the Lumbridge caves and kill Cave Slimes in the north-west region of the caves. They often drop Swamp tar and you can quickly gather what you need from them. Bring anti-poison potions with you.

How can I make money?
I'm in need of some semi-permanent pure essence miners. I buy 1K pure essence for 100K gp or I trade runes for essence. If you're interested, click on the link in my signature to go to my blog and make a post saying something like "Sign me up, Celes!" and I'll add you to my list of essence miners.

New rare?
Great, another useless piece of paper that people are going to get their shorts in a twist.

Price Manipulation - Illegal?
This is an interesting topic that you chose to write about. It's rather difficult to say whether or not "price manipulation" is illegal since the cost of many items are set by the player market and not by Jagex themselves. I don't involve myself too much in the player market and only limit myself to buying raw materials for skill training. The idea of buying a colored piece of paper for an incredibly high sum feels too much like extortion and I'd rather spend that money on something more constructive.

lvl 3 with 99 slayer...
I'm sorry to sound like a total [self censor: donkey] but is there really a point to a question like this? I think a forum mod should just lock this since I don't see how we can generate any meaningful discussion from it.

Newest Quests and woodcutting help
NOTE: I did this quest at lvl-86. So again, if I can do it, you can do it too! Boy, I'm starting to sound like Chef Yan of "Yan Can Cook"... it's an old 80's cooking show that I use to watch with my mum when I was really young. Surprisingly, Grim Tales has a easy fight since you can use Protect Melee against the Cloud Giant's attacks. Make sure you're carrying at least 10 Prayer potions so that you won't run out at the wrong time and load up on all the Tuna Potatoes that you can carry. You can fight the Cloud Giant like any other melee monster but it is paramount that you must keep an eye on your prayer screen!!! Periodically, the Cloud Giant can cause your Protection Prayer to turn off and you must promptly turn it back on or else your bones will be made into the Giant's bread. If I'm not mistaken, I believe this happens when you call out some sort of war cry and rush the giant. I can't remember the exact conditions that causes your Protection Prayer to turn off, so it's easier to just watch your prayer screen.

Newest Quests and woodcutting help
The Rimmington willow trees provide a few conveniences. One, there's a firemaking line that you can use once you're fully loaded with willow logs. Two, you can fletch the willow logs into whatever unstrung willow bow you can and sell it to the nearby general store. Three, hopefully it's far enough from a bank that autoers find it inconvenient to chop willow trees there.

Dream Mentor Fight
I recommend red dhide because the second and third monsters are easily beaten by range attacks. The Lecturn is the safe spot.

Shadow of the Storm - Help.
Remove the farseer helm and any jewellery you're wearing. You should also bank/unequip your arrows to be thorough. You should also try wearing a black cape because it's so evil! You can get a black cape from a lvl-6 Highwayman that wonders around South Falador, or dye another cape black with the black mushroom ink/dye. I *think* you need to wear at least 3 black pieces of clothing in addition to a black Silverlight. The priest robes may not be evil enough for Evil Dave so you should just wear dyed Desert Robes.

just a thought on skillcapes
How about a Money Making Skill cape? The emote would be mining essence, making a nat, cutting a tree, fletching and stringing a bow then high alch the bow and a bunch of coins flies into the air and into a bag that you hold open. Naw! :XD: How about Costume emotes? We already have Mime emotes and Saluting. Maybe they should add yodelling, star jumps, push-ups, sit-ups, and running on the spot.

Wich are better?
An additional note. According to the Tip.it Items Database, Rock-shell legs weighs 0.0kg while runite platelegs weight 9.5kgs. Someone should confirm the weight of the Rock-shell legs and update the Items Database if this information is incorrect. If you're able to get both items, you should compare their weights and choose the lighter of the two so that your run energy will last longer. If you're more concerned with how the two items look, then that's up to you. Personally, since both those items have the same combat stat bonuses as the regular runite platelegs/plateskirt, then I'll just settle for the regular one. (do speed stripes really make your car go faster, even when you have never done any engine work? clearly not)

Rune shop...
Buying runes from any rune shop should be considered a total write-off especially with the hordes of auto-buyers sitting at the rune shop. You're better off killing monsters, runecrafting or buying from players so that you won't be frustrated competing with the auto-buyers.

cant enter the karamja shipyard!!1
The quest(s) that are related to the Karamja East Coast Shipyard is The Grand Tree and Monkey Madness. By doing both those quests, you'll be able to enter the Shipyard.

Imagine this....
I would stop playing at that point because the hi-spec graphics would mean I'll need to get myself a new computer and getting a new computer to play the latest and greatest game isn't a justifiable expense. Plus, the advantage of RuneScape's system requirements is that you only need an Internet connection and an up-to-date Java Run-Time Environment and you can log on wherever you want.

computer games stole my son
Maybe these parents should trying taking the things you can do in RuneScape outside, like take the kid out camping. Hey, I'm 23 and I don't know how to fish, chop wood with an axe, start a campfire without lighter fluid, and a whole lot of other "outdoorsy" stuff, probably because when I was young, my parents were new immigrants and were too busy working instead of involving me with these fun, outdoor activities. Some of the things I've tried on my own are trying to make a chain mail glove using a spool of copper wire and a pair of pliers. After about a week at it and constantly consulting online references, I had to put that aside because I didn't have the requisite skills/tools to properly continue. Plus, my fingers were getting raw from working with copper wire. The very first thing they should do is stop paying for the kid's membership. This will at least limit the amount of things he can do in-game and hopefully with the horrible F2P playing conditions will make him start to think about other things that are more entertaining to occupy his time. (hm, maybe I should clean out the spare room in the basement and start setting up my electronics lab)
