Burgh De Rott Port
Kill Treus Dayth with your best Magic spell; I recommend Fire Blast to kill him quickly or Fire Bolt with Chaos Gauntlets. Any protection prayer is useless so don't bother. Bring your best food -- at least monkfish and as much as you can carry. Minimize the amount of running around that you have to do to reduce the chance of you getting hit by mine carts and mine cranes. If you plan on using prayers, use the HP-restore prayer and your best Magic boost prayer. If you're lucky you can kill Treus before your food runs out. Keep your health reasonably high; eat when your health drops to almost 1 food unit since in the time you eat you might get hit. The mine carts are deadly! Don't walk in front of them for any reason. Bring a Ring of Life and a 1-click teleport like the Ectophial.

Zogre Flesh Eaters
For Treus Dayth, bring your best food -- at least monkfish -- and then hit him with your best Magic spell. Meleeing him is a very bad idea (suicide) because the mining equipment and mine carts can "attack" you for a lot of damage. Protection prayers are useless because he hits through them. Instead, you might want to turn on one of the Magic-boost prayers and/or the HP-heal prayer (can't remember their names, sry). I know this isn't the thread topic but that's my advice for Treus Dayth.

The OoC Presents: Newbie Appreciation Day! Date changed!
More negativity. How can this be a "huge scam" when people are willingly donating low level items that's distributed to low level players? :wall: :wall: :wall: The OoC is a group that's respected and known for their love of fun and humor. Don't sully their good name with your slanderous filth.

Potion?
Just pour out its contents and use the empty vial for herblore training.

Burn willows until you can burn Maples. Or just chop and burn willows at Rimmington.

An Idea for Herblore / Cooking
Here's some of my ideas as to how Jagex can make gathering maple syrup interesting or at least educational to make it realistic. - getting maple syrup is only possible from player-grown maple trees since the maple trees around Seer's Village get chopped down too quickly. - smith 1 iron bar into an iron spout that you hammer into your maple tree - then you can use up to 6 buckets on the maple tree to get 6 buckets of maple "water". The maple tree will take time to replenish its supply of maple water much like the willow tree replenishing its willow branches - then 6 buckets of maple water cook down to 1 jug of maple syrup - 1 jug of maple syrup can heal 5-hp

need help on gettin 70 atk
If you can get into the Warrior's Guild, you can always try it. Just buy yourself a mith full helm, mith platebody, mith platelegs and use the Automaton training room. It doesn't take long to get 1K Warrior tokens. Then go upstairs to the Cyclopes room and go to town in there. It's a decent way to train your melee skills, get a nice large supply of Black Knives for training range (or to sell to players), bury big bones, and get yourself a rune defender (or another 20+). There's no waiting around twiddling your thumbs for a PC group, so give it a try! 8-)

A granite mining tip to all you miners or soon-to-be miners!
Cool! Using Lunar Magics to help train mining. Who would've thunk it? Cleaver find by the way.

Red Chincopas?????
Take the average damage the Red Chinchompa can do: maximum damage divide by 2. This gives you average damage per Chinchompa. Multiply the average damage per Chinchompa by 4 to give the average exp per Chinchompa. Then, 200K divide by the average exp per Chinchompa and you'll get the maximum number of Chinchompas you'll need. Good luck! (see, math IS useful! so stay in school and pay attention in class)

Red Chincopas?????
If you cannot afford the prayer potions, you're too cheap to buy them, or you cannot make them for yourself, bring any monkey greegree with you and recharge your Prayer Points at the Monkey temple. Just use one of the Gorilla statues. You may even want to try training range with the Red Chinchompas at the east side of the temple since there are safe spots on the east side of the fire pits/vents. (maybe, unconfirmed but it doesn't hurt to try it.. a lot of melee fighters there killing the Gorilla guards tho)

Your friends list
I have far too many random people on my friends list and too many that do not come on-line anymore. It's difficult to form an in-game relationship with another person that you can call a "brother-in-arms" (or "sister-in-arms") and that you can trust them through thick and thin to be at your side during an expedition to Waterbirth Island or into the Kalphite Lair to confront its respective denizens. Even when you're not off "saving the world" with your friends, it's good to have people you can relate with and idly chat about some non-sensical subjects while you're busy skilling. I still have some what random people that occassionally message me and ask for help. If I'm not too busy or I was just doing some random stuff that doesn't require my full attention, I'll help them out by messaging them. On the very rare occassion, I'd drop what I'm doing and run off to help them out, usually asking them to meet me half-way as much as possible.

What Is the bazooka called?
And if you're wondering, it shoots dye filled frogs during the quest. After the quest you can't make more dye filled frogs to fire at stuff. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted... :(

The "Bot Motel": an idea to help rid ourselves of Bots
Read my Disclaimer at the top. If it's not a positive or productive post, then why bother posting at all? Plus, all suggestions and speculations are hypothetical update suggestions. :wall: They do not need to be real nor do they need to be taken overly seriously by the Jagex team. We're all fans who would like to see different things in the game that can enrich the gaming experience. Have you not played a game and said to yourself, "If this game had this particular feature, then I'd be able to do this awesome and useful action." Sometimes I think I've lost all faith in humanity because of all the negativity that people tend to generate.

Its lonely at the top
It doesn't have to be lonely. Participate in some Tip.it events and you'll meet some really great people to hang around with and make small chat while you're grinding skills. If you wish to feel like part of a community, participate more on the Tip.it forums. If you're witty and post some great, constructive and positive comments, the Tip.it team might notice you and make you a Crewbie to keep the Forums clean.

Watering can
You need a watering can if you plan on planting plants in your garden.

Camo Clothing
LOL! I'm sorry I just had to laugh but full camo should never be worth 1M gp. You'll definitely be reported for item scamming. Don't do it! It's not difficult making 1M gp if you know what you're doing.

Alching.
Consider the time and nats used at the Mage Training Arena an investment into the Infinity Items. If you're a keep runecrafter, you can make all the runes you use. The last I checked full Infinity Robes sell for 12M gp. Maybe it's worth it, maybe it isn't so you'll have to crunch some numbers to figure it out. The Mage Training Arena is a very fun way to train your magic.

The "Bot Motel": an idea to help rid ourselves of Bots
[/hide] oh oh and maybe once the stacker gets to a certain number like in the thousands or maybe millions i dunno.. something bad happens to the bot.. like a perm ban or something that comes out to kill it? i dunno just an idea. a bad one if that but hey whatever LOL! For some reason that reminded me of the old text-based Zork adventure games. Zork game: "Your lantern sputters out and you are in the darkness." You try to move East three times to get back into a lit area. On your second East move you get the message "You've been in the darkness too long. You've been eaten by a Grue."

The "Bot Motel": an idea to help rid ourselves of Bots
An island or otherwise, I don't know the complexity of bots nor do I know how they work. I also don't want people discussing various techniques that bots use to identify the tree/rock/fishing spot they're at because that will get this thread locked very quickly, which I don't want to happen. Now, the Mysterious Box can be immediately placed into the player's inventory to give them the Escape Button to use, so I'm not sure how the bot will "avoid" getting the Mysterious Box? Can you suggest a plausible solution?

did i get scammed out of my account??
Since we've answered the question already and more than once, maybe a Forum Mod can kindly close this thread.

Heroes quest Questoin
That's a very interesting question! If you're in need of a gang member to help you finish Hero's Quest, then maybe you should search through the stickied thread and make a request. Wanted: Gang Member! I also recommend looking on the Official Forums since that gets viewed more often. Hope that helps!

Contracts?
This is an awesome idea! I don't really have any suggestions at the moment but this will help a lot of new players and this might reduce the begging problem by offering new players a way to learn how to play the game, use/train their various skills and make some money. Maybe Jagex can expand the banks to have another level as a "job center"?

*blank* wants to trade with you
Maybe not white since I find it rather difficult to see the baby blue color to begin with. I think we should just keep the current trade text but display it in the PM text area like what you suggested. Maybe even red because that will greatly stand out against the scenery. Some people with color blindness may not be able to distinguish the blue from purple so lets go with the red.

The "Bot Motel": an idea to help rid ourselves of Bots
I like your suggestion! I'll add it in after dinner or something. Let's keep the feedback coming, people! Actually, we'll skip the Imps mugging you blind and just have all the trees, ore rocks, fishing spots behave like in the Manage Thy Kingdom mini-game. Maybe cutting/mining/fishing one of the resources puts an item in your inventory that happens to look like a log/ore/fish that has a stacking counter on it. This counter increases your waiting time as the stacking number increases and this will add 5 seconds to your exit timer. Since the bots will blindly continue cutting/mining/fishing, their counter will increase to an incredibly long time and they will essentially be unable to get off the island. This counter persists even after you log out of the game. What does everybody think of this idea? I'll edit by first post later (again). EDIT: The stacking counter multiplied by 5 is added to your initial count down timer and the timer doesn't start decrement if you're cutting/mining/fishing while on the island.
