Need help With desert treasure
A tip for fighting Kamil: Stand right in front of him and use Protect from Melee instead of Protect from Magic. His melee attacks are more devastating than his Ice spells. Use fire spells to kill him and heal with your best available food. I recommend tuna potatoes.

Killing the 10 Ice Trolls prior to fighting the Ice Troll King is a quest "task" that gets checked off in your quest log. If you've completed the quest task of killing 10 Ice Trolls once, then I think you won't need to do that task again. Check your quest log. If the task of killing the Ice Trolls is crossed-out, then you don't have to kill them again. I'm guessing you're asking this question because you died while fighting the Ice Troll King?

11 June 2007 - The Dark Bow~ 6:15 AM
WOOT!!! \ \ Ah, anyway, dark bow looks great. Farming update was better though \ Too bad the compost bin doesn't have a right-click menu to give us an option of "Fill Compost-bin" and then ask us if we're making Normal compost or Super compost. I know that right-clicking on pineapples is a no-brainer but this can potentially shave off a few precious seconds for a traveling farmers. Or not. :?

Best place to get dust runes?
You can always go to the Mage Training Arena store to buy Combination Runes. It'll be expensive since you need to use runes to get Pizzaz points. By the way, why do you need Dust runes?

Rune Pouch
Use the Fairy Rings and the code A-L-R to go to the Abyss area that's safe from PKers. I think that's you main concern, right?

Ghosts Ahoy digging for book on Dragontooth Island
You must follow the map. The square that you should start from is the square that the Saradomin statue is pointing at. From there, carefully follow the text on the map by pacing out the route. Of course, somebody on the forums can just tell you where to dig but it's more fun this way!

Horror for the deep
Protect from Range is more appropriate since the Dagannoth Mother's attack is range based.

~ The Next New Skill? ~
How about something that nobody (probably) has ever suggested like Animagic. It's magic that allows you to transform into an animal to fight. Using it would be similar to the Prayer menu, where you select an animal form to use. It would also require a quest to unlock, similar to Herblore. When you're using an animal form, it will slowly drain points like Prayer. To recharge your Animagic points you have to meditate at a Totem pole.

Getting Defense from 61 to 70 - HELP!!
If you're members, a fun way to train your melee combat stats is to go to the Warrior's Guild and train on the Cyclopes to get a Rune Defender. Another place is to fight Dagannoths under the Lighthouse.

Dragon Gloves
As far as I'm aware, you only need to complete Recipe for Disaster. If you've rescued all of the people in the banquet hall, then you unlock the "Dragon" Gloves. Once you've defeated the Culinaromancer and finish the quest, then you unlock the "Barrows" Gloves. You can buy these gloves from the Culinaromancer's chest.

Mage Additions?
Splitbark Armor Mark 2? So, not only do you need the Fine Cloth and the Split Bark, maybe you need some sort of Dragon Hide for additional defence bonuses. I wouldn't suggest adding a metal component since metal armor tends to decrease you magic defence.

getting past monkeys without melee pro in m.m
Ask a bunch of friends to help you distract the Gorilla Guards in the Temple. That's what I did for my friend when he was going through Monkey Madness.

Is it going to demolish my account?
If this is a real concern for you and your brother, play but don't trade items between each other. You can always email Jagex Customer Support and ask them to help clarify the rules for you. This email can then serve as evidence that you can use to appeal in the unfortunate event that you or your brother gets banned for trading between each other.

How about surpass your friend in the amount of quests you've completed? Many quests have exp rewards that can give you well needed boosts and possibly enough to surpass your friend.

Low Level (20s) Herblore Help
If you're willing to invest some time, many players train herblore by growing their own herbs. One method that will give you herbs 100% is to use My Arm's disease-free herb patch on top of Trollheim Mountain. You'll need to do quite a lot of quests to have access to My Arm's herb patch. It also helps to have plenty of Laws so that you can use the Trollheim teleport, if you have the magic level or else you can use a Games Necklace to teleport to Burthrope and walk/run to the herb patch. If you have extra cash to spare, and you can enchant emerald jewellery, go to the RS Official Forums, look on the Market forums and buy yourself a Magic Tree Root. Make yourself an Amulet of Nature buy spinning the Magic Tree Root into a Magic String to string an emerald amulet and then enchant it. Now, you can "watch" My Arm's herb patch and teleport to harvest and replant your herbs. One drawback is that the Amulet of Nature can only "watch" one farming patch and you can only own one Amulet of Nature. I can personally attest that this method works well and I managed to train my herblore from around your level to lvl-56 in about two weeks. A decent source of herb seeds helps. So, if you don't know, fighting the Dagannoths beneath the Lighthouse is a good way to collect herb seeds. Bringing a cannon to kill the Dagannoths is a quick way to get lots of herb seeds. Good luck. I hope all this info helps!

Fremiking trails help (seers part)
If you've ever made bread at home, you use yeast while making your dough. Yeast is a living organism that eats sugar and produces carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide makes your dough rise. When you bake the dough into bread, all this air stays inside the bread. So air is loosely related to wind.

Strange farming question
I've never used a scarecrow nor plant flowers since I just pay the gardeners that walk around the allotments. I think the weeds growing back is normal. Try pulling out your scarecrow and putting it back on the flower patch when there are weeds. If the scarecrow goes in, then you're a-okay.

allowed to buy pixel sigs?
How about trading favors? A pixel sig in return for a favor. For example, helping the sig maker with an in-game task like gathering feathers for them. Trade a few items like some prayer pots as a sign of goodwill.

New laptop, will it get me banned?
If this is a real concern for you, email Jagex's Customer support and get a response straight from the horse's mouth. They'll most likely tell you that they can't reveal how they detect macroers/bots but at least you'll get peace of mind.

Being nice... is it really worth it?
I sometimes have my own Spontanious Moments Of Generosity and give items to a random person who's doing/finishing a quest. Most recently, I gave a partly used Super Set, yak-hide top and bottom, Fremennik Shield, 10 cooked Monkfish, 3 Prayer pots to somebody preparing to fight the Ice Troll King for Fremennik Isles. It was one of those "Oh, what the heck!" moments and I just decided to hook that guy up and send him on his way.
