  1. If you're only one level away from the required woodcutting level, then you might as well train it. [hide]You have to cut down a beanstalk at the end of the quest.[/hide]
  2. Bank all of your equipment, and run into the wilderness to the Graveyard. There are plank respawns. Since you've banked all of your equipment, even if you die, you'll still keep your three planks. You can make the steel nails yourself. Just need 6 steel bars.
  3. Isn't it more worthwhile to run your own Nature runes for the runecrafting exp?
  4. It's very disconcerting to see that there's such a well done mimic of the Official Site. This shows that there are some people out there who are willing to go thru great lengths to rob people of their characters and their hard earned items. This is even worse than simple item/password scamming since a web site such as this mimic, targets all of their victims equally.
  5. Train defence and strength to at least lvl 50, and use stews or higher for food. You want to heal as much as you can with 1 bite of food.
  6. More mines? The one bracelet has a tele to crafting guild, so tele to crafting guild, tele to castle wars and bank, repeat. Personally, I use the hot air balloons to travel to the Crafting Guild and Ring of Dueling to travel back.
  7. Don't drop trade since you'll be breaking more rules. If you have a well trusted friend and that you know him/her in real life, have them help you transfer items. I've done this more than once and since I'm an honest player, I've never been reported for scamming the person that I was helping.
  8. Even though the gardener doesn't have a head, have you tried talking to him? It's been a long while since I've completed this quest so I can't exactly remember what you need to do to get the head.
  9. I suggest at least lvl-60 Agility and lvl-56 Thieving, since you'll be need those skills to complete Mourning's End Part 2 and Desert Treasure. I got my Quest Cape rather recently since I've only been a member since Jan. 2007. For Underground Pass, make sure you have at least lvl-43 prayer so you have access to all Protection Prayers. If you're keen, get Bones to Peaches from the Mage Training Arena so you don't have to worry about food. It's a long quest with very few food opportunities throughout the quest. For Regicide, bring an axe (hatchet), tinderbox, and iron spit to cook rabbits. Bring at least one 4-dose Agility potion. Bring a Games Necklace and the equipment you brought for Underground Pass. For Roving Elves, the lvl-84 Moss Giant is very easy so don't worry about it. Just turn on Protect from Melee (or Protect from Magic; I think it has a magic-based melee attack...), bring some mid-level food and a two 4-dose Prayer potions. You may want to bring a Combat potion and a Defence potion for good measure; a Superset isn't required since it'll be overkill.
  10. Get your friends and yourself to log onto a busy trade world like World 2. Have them bank all their stuff. Them have some of them wear team capes, and some don't and head into the Wilderness. Then, have them stand there and let you Ice Barrage them. Either way, you'll get your answers.
  11. You shouldn't display your email address on the forums like that. Instead you should private message the person using the PM button on their message post. Can we have a forum mod edit the above post?
  12. please i didnt know  Now you know. There's a Rules link at the top of the forum page that you should click and read.
  13. South-west area of the Blue Dragon room in Taverly dungeon, the little space that leads to the lava river where you catch Lava Eels for Hero's Quest. You'll most likely see high leveled players there ranging Blue Dragons so it's not to hard to find.
  14. Yup! It's better to be safe than sorry especially when it comes to such an amazing rare!
  15. Here's a composite of the full conversation that you would have with Oziach if you were holding the Anti-Dragonfire Shield.
  16. Basically anything that another player can do to exploit another player's greed for their own gain is against the rules, or should be considered against the rules. That's why Item Scamming is against the rules and one of the possible reasons why the Wilderness Ditch was created in an attempt to protect new players or players that weren't paying attention to the Wilderness Level Counter. The "trust game" also exploits the victim's greed and thus is against the rules.
  17. Remember to buy enough Ice Boxes from the Slayer Master to properly kill Desert Lizards; buy at least 10 more than what you need to finish your Slayer task since you may accidentally use an Ice Box at the wrong time and thus wasting one. Don't forget to bring the correct desert survival stuff with you: waterskins, knife to fill waterskins from cacti, bucket/jug/bowl to fill waterskins from a fountain/sink. Also remember to wear desert robe top, bottom and desert boots. You can get all this gear from Shantay at Shantay's Pass. One bucket can fill up one completely empty waterskin; a bucket has 4 units of water. The water isn't wasted and goes into the next waterskin that needs to be filled. If you've completed the quest Spirits of Elid, then you can refill your waterskins at Nardah's fountain. Nardah is the town south of the Desert Lizard. I recommend bringing 5 fully-filled waterskins with you and keep 10 to 20 buckets of water in your bank if you haven't completed Spirits of Elid. This will allow you to fill up your waterskins in Nardah and avoid the long walk back to Al Kharid. Hope this all helps!
  18. I'm guessing you're doing the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest? Killing the Tribesmen that wonder around the Karamja jungle is a good way to get an iron spear.
  19. How many times can you do that before you have to pay your butler/servent? I read on another thread it was 10 trips where each trip is one bank and one to sawmill. I'm most likely wrong about this since I don't have a butler, can somebody confirm this please?
  20. I think the "trust game" is reportable under Item Scamming.
  21. Go south from the Magic shop and the Chaos Temple is the building in the south-east corner. If you look on your mini-map or world map, it's marked with an Altar icon. You'll be coming here during the Abyss mini-quest, the quests Wanted!, and if I remember the plot correctly, the Merlin's Crystal quest. Good luck.
  22. Unfortunately you'll be doing a lot of world hopping if you plan on selling willow longs to stores. Understandably, you want to make money while you train your fletching but I think many fletchers would recommend that you don't do what you plan on doing. To answer your question: The most out of the way general store would be the one in Lletya. It doesn't get more out of the way than that! You'll have to start the quest Mourning's End Part 1 up to the point where you first speak to Eluned and get teleported into Lletya.
  23. This should be moved to the Tech and Computers sub-forum in the General Discussion section.
  24. Congrats! Maybe you can post this on the Website Suggestions and Update thread to notify the crew. They can add this to the MEP2 Quest Guide.
  25. Sure, it's called Shade Burning. I've never tried this myself but maybe you can burn mahogany logs. Mahogany logs chop as fast as willow and gives more exp than willow but not as much as yew. I think burning mahogany logs is a good alternative to willow and/or yew burning. If I remember correctly, there's a few mahogany trees in the Karazai Jungle (requires Legends Quest) and there's definitely mahogany trees on Ape Atoll (requires Monkey Madness). I've stopped training Firemaking ever since I've switched to members but I use to burn willow logs at Rimmington. It has a very nice 27-grids long burn line.
