I agree that barrows is some amazing armor, but it does degrade after a time, but even that does make it much better than 3rd age and bandos cost-wise. People honestly do buy bandos and 3rd age for the looks, and the uses. Although more so for bandos, the newer armor will always be considered "top of the line" until people begin o see the bad points in cost-usage. However, Bandos will always help out in the GWD for bosses, and the 3rd is just an awesome looking armor "made" for the wealthy. I personally will stick with Barrows until I have enough money to cover costs for that and a Godword and not break the bank just by buying it all.

Definitely Fire making. I really find it to be a pointless skill (No offense firemakers :oops: ) But it really doesn't have any true rewards for getting it high other than the shade burning, and the higher level lanterns, which all max out at 80 (for the best shade burned).

Definitely. I used to go into the wild and run around picking up things for "good money". I still remember back when I wasn't as good as I was, and many ways to make money averaging around 100k per hour was considered "good" to me. I think we all tried a few ways to make money that really weren't the best.

^ 2500 is a little far fetched. I would say a good 1300-1500 with all four pouches an hour and no energies, 1800+ with energies. I'm not to sure on the amount with familiars, since I haven't used them, and my friend, who I'm getting this info from has not either.

Best thing possible for me. It gave me a whole new reason to start back up on my 85 slayer goal, and that new slayer helm looks amazing. Blacklisting tasks sounds like an amazing idea as well... (no more steel drags or warped stuffs :D ) A big TY to Jagex for this amazing update. Also, does anyone know how much the slayer xp give? I think it costs 100 points, or maybe more, but i didn't want to waste my points without knowing. #-o

Not to say you are wrong, but that method has been out for quite some time, and he is talking about a increase in price starting now. I would say it was due to the new slayer based quest and the new rewards. Everyone wants to get all the new rewards, and finish slayer tasks as quickly as possible, so they probably bought cannons to power through slayer tasks. Not saying thats what happened, but that would be my guess.

i agree rares are silly, and the owners and shallow and pedantic. Did you thesaurus that word (pedantic)? It isn't really used right. It's more related to learning, rather than wealth. Ostentatious would be better. And more generalizations? Rares have sentimental value for some people, rather than just showing off wealth. Others genuinely think they look cool, more so in masks and santas. You got owned by the English language :P But seriously, I have owned a Santa, a Blue and a Red Mask, yet you think just because some one who owns it is "shallow" that every single person who buys a rare is shallow. And when people generally have more money in RS than they know what to do with it, they will buy whatever catches their eye. Let me guess that you have never owned a rare, or never had enough money so you are simply saying all this because you don't have one.
