I don't understand, wouldn't you rather hang with friends if given the chance then play Runessape? Everyone should answer yes. And even if times are tough, they usually aren't for very long, so just push through, and things will probably get much better. Don't feel down, everyone gets like it at some point or another.

Well V 1.1 is finished, all the glitches in 1.0 are fixed as i can see, So hopefully even more people will use it than V1.0 Some big problems included were in the 1000 kill log which only added up to kill 103, as well as the ending profit section being to far to the right. Some other small changes were added, and you can read them all in the Reademe included in the calculator, or I now added it into my main post. Enjoy :

Nobody really uses the coal mining facility... for a good reason. IT ONLY CAN MOVE FLIPPING COAL! Is that a support or a non-support? I use the coal mining there. Its fairly quick without long trips to bank every run. I think its kinda modern for this game, but i guess anything is possible.

theres many threads about changing the GE and such, yet has Jagex ever listened to anyone's suggestions (and i mean GOOD suggestions that have been around for a long time) but the GE is flawed, and Jagex probably won't do anything about it. As i've said before though, the Game is not the true problem. Its detecting the rule-breakers thats causing Jagex to ruin the game for others.

OMG!!! just got Pk'ed while doing a clue scroll. The lv 115 who attacked me (lv 51 wild) went like this... 115-"Gl on Clue" (i was fighting zammy mage at the time) me-"Ty" (i then kill the mage and dig) 115-"loot?" before i answer, she starts specing me, luckily i eat both my sharks after switching melee pray on, and drop my chart, spade and watch just as a precaution so i don't lose my casket. I die and now i had to get my watch and chart back, so annoying, Not mad about being pk'ed, but being pk'ed... AGAIN for nothing but bones is annoying.

Yes, they can see you, but only if your Private is on, and even then, he shouldn't have been able to follow you unless it was On. You could have picked your arrows up, or just stopped attacking the monster. An even more drastic way could have been going to a German world just to get rid of him.

The pc I understand why they took it away. It was because some players were training non-stop and if you know how much xp you can get in a good world, you could have easily gotten to 99 str/atk/def/hp/mage/range in a week or two. WAY to quick if you ask me. Most of the 27k people on the Str high scores with 99 PC'ed it. Other than that, the Game is still fairly difficult to higher players (Godwars, KW, Pking, Tourneys) but there are some parts that makes the game easy, but not enough to make it un-enjoyable.

I agree. You should probably do a mix of each though. It would allow you to be able yo have some alching material, as well as selling some Steel full sets. The problem is that most people will probably have sets ready before hand. I do, so a mix, with more steel pl8s would be preferred as Xp wise, and money wise.

I actually don't expect Santas or many other rares to go up this Christmas. Too many prices have been changed due to the GE. Also, Runecrafting is ALWAYS something good to do, as it is a very useful skill to have high.

Pray on Dh ahrim and karil, and kill the others w/o if you can. Barrows can be easy, but there are times where it can be dangerous. Just watch your hp, and don't always completely rely on guthans for healing. eat if you need to.

I have 99 fletching, and got it going completely yew longs, and bought all the supplies at once, and then just fletched. I would have done Mage longs, which were definitely faster, but the supplies were higher than the bow prices at the time, so i went with yews. If your gonna alch, go with mage longs, but if your just fletching and selling, yews can turn better profit if you buy supplies low, and you probably can at this time, but i still suggest mage longs.

The maple and flax prices are extremely low on the GE, so if your going by those prices, probably Coal or maples are best. Flax is just way to cheap at this time.

worst scam for me was probably when the new TT items came out, and i got messed up with the "duo-scam" one guy selling low, other buying high. Don't know why i didn't notice at first, but lost about a million off of it. Hurt me pretty bad at the time.

well my name is pretty open, which i dislike, and i only have every seen 2-3 people impersonate other players with similar names, so i don't think it is extremely common, but it does happen.

They should stop destroying parts of the game, and start working on the detection systems for programs that auto-log and play runescape. Most other online games can easily detect this because they have pre-game startup programs like Game guard that protect from auto programs from playing. Possibly they could build something like this into the java file that runescape config is kept on your computer that detects these actions, and that runescape would not play if this file was missing or corrupt. That would easily solve the problem. Changing in-game items simply angers players, as well as making only a simple obstacle that programs must be programed around, and if they are good, they can probably fix it in a matter of days, and have their business back up and running.

very nice guide, now with the GE portion. Never really used your guide, but after reading it a bit more throughly, i think i may apply some of these methods.

That is a pretty scary thought, and nearly the same idea popped into my head when i read the update. Taking out player>monster death piles would bring extreme ranting into the game. This would come from nearly every monster hunting player. It is a possibility that i really would not like to think about. Not to mention the one minute wait we already have when dying from monsters for items to appear.

You kinda went in a big circle in what you were saying. But i do agree that sometimes having 1 or 2 letters not fitting in the clan name really annoys me.

WHAT THE -BLEEP-?! I didn't know that could happen! :? woah, thats really not right. Definitely should report to Jagex because that could affect others. Im surprised it didn't happen to me either, i usually always click the x really quick.

My age range is 15-17 But yes, i do agree with you fully. Alot of P2P players regard f2p players as nothing worthwhile, yet they have to play the game with less resources as well as lots of harder ways to train. Most of these players are very well behaved, and compared to Member players, are probably much more mature about content. Since they know they aren't getting anything, they don't complain about it. In fact, i know quite a few F2p players who have higher skills than i do, and are higher combat than me. Even if you think F2p players aren't anything special, most are better than others.

That's only true if people are willing to sell at that price, and if the price is, in fact, higher then who would sell at that price? That's the basics of economics. Yes, but most people WILL go and sell the sharks at the GE just for the added ease of not having to browse forums and hop worlds. Even if that means getting the lowest possible price for their goods.
