Boss pets were done by the Ninja team, but the pet overrides are not being done by the Ninjas AFAIK. Pet overrides are an animation job, not a Ninja fix.

Everyone begged Jagex for boss pet overrides, so what did they do? They did Companion pets, of course. Classic Jagex troll. No Vic. Why? Also Ninja Patch notes are just not the same without Mod Ryan.

Hold on now, wasn't this supposed to come with Prif? Was postponed to batch 2, then to 3, to come out in either the task set, or a new quest.

It has new prayers and spells, though. --- Also, I don't see why #4 would win. We already have SH, and a minimal clicking agility course that scales for levels in Priff, what more do we need?

I got this on Reaper the other day: I guess I am stuck as well. Got a Signet via Reaper today. Meh.

It's the classic Jagex response to suggestions. I remember one time, shortly after the Boss Grouping system was released that I pointed out to Mod Ryan that there were various problems with it, it wasn't functioning as intended, there were oversights, and practically no one was using it. To which he replied "There are no plans to change it at the moment." They don't take much pride in many of their updates and often don't want to hear on any suggestions to improve them.

Seems like another instance of cost cutting to me. Sort of like Mod Michelle recently leaving or getting fired and the official RS wiki being shut down (which Mod Michelle took care of alone I think). We're at half a dozen+ J Mods who have left Jagex this year.

I'm 200M Dung, and I have like 6.6Mish tokens left, and even I find the Gold Accumulators to be a rip off. So I never bothered with them. But then I also need money at the moment so...

Just Recomped, so the nightmare is over. Took me two tries to get it all done. A few thoughts: -Lame rewards for a supposedly landmark quest -Replayability for quests is bad and tedious -Nothing like RFD, which it is supposedly be to be modeled after. RFD was well written, had a good plot, was exciting, had interesting boss fights, and a host of supremely useful and fitting rewards. -Had various things in it which are meant only to troll players, and if you aren't super careful, you could find yourself having to repeat the quest several times. It actually punishes early bird players - the people who waited, and got the down low from all their friends were able to avoid having to do numerous replays. Totally fail quest. I actually like quests, or used to, but this one and the needlessly annoying puzzle during the last one have started to change my mind on these things. P.S. Also, Tim is a godsend, walked me through a bunch of this stuff, unsolicited.

I hate redoing quests as a game mechanic. It's basically made quests into pseudo-skills/grinding. That's not the point of quests.
