Larryr Here is what I have of Larryr. Since she (yes SHE) has retired, I think its ok to discuss her company. First off, Larryr was a lady. Her son, at a very young age started playing Runescape. She helped him play it and eventually he got bored of the game. She took over the account, and has been Larryr from that point on. Before anyone gets angry about Account Sharing, know that she went on the become a Player Mod. She was able to found a very profitable business in Runecrafting using the Double Nats at 91 profits to pay for Runners, Collectors and even a small Security Team. She was on a mission to get 200 Million exp in Runecrafting, but the Trade Restriction Updates single-handely and permanently crippled the her business beyond repair. She has since retired and the company has been permanently disbanned. She is currently the #1 Runecrafter with 157,034,220 exp. Second place only has 69,718,661 exp. That is a HUGE gap to fill has yet to be closed. I personally made it from Runner to Collector. She paid hourly wages to Collectors. A solid 100k an hour (which was alot back then). I made my first Million GP there and soon left, with barely a Combat Level of 50. I even came back later to tack on a few other Millions so I could get the coveted Gilded Armor. She is still on my friend's list, although I haven't seen her login in ages. Here are some pics I took at a Company Meeting. I don't have any of on the job though. I kind of wish I did now. The structure of the company was astounding. Runners formed lines, Security tried to deter "Ess Thiefs" and it was a rather smooth operation. I'll let the pics speak for themselves... People that Larryr trusted to help make the business better. Always looking for new ideas or ways of expanding the company. [/hide] Funeral Later down the road, tragedy struck our group. A Collector had died in Real Life. Lady Celtic, a long time friend of Larryr's and wife to the deceased, was able to let everyone know what had happened. I do remember distinctly that day...we all stopped working and gathered our black gear. We all met at the Monastery to pay our respects. At first, I always thought that an online funeral/wedding/whatever sounded ridiculous. But after seeing the respect of others in a civil manner in an Online Game made me change my mind. Even though the majority of us never knew each other outside of the game, we all came together to give respect to one of our friends who needed a little support. I have not heard from or seen Lady Celtic since the online funeral of her husband. [hide=Funeral for a Friend] [/hide] Closing In closing, I'd like to point out that all of this was done well before the Clan Chat feature was even conceived. Also, we only had the RSOF as our main point of Forum contact. But we succeeded at being the best. I see all the other posts of people that are just starstruck by Zezima, N0valyfe, etc... But I can't say I admire them as much as I admire Larryr. She was a great person to be around. She also made you rich in the process! But overall she made a company, that became a family. My first family. I will never forget you Larryr. You really made a difference in alot of different people's lives. I wish the best to you in whatever you are doing now.

How about we call it Seafaring Skill? Maybe that would add a little depth to the skill as a whole. Or Quartermaster, or um...Navigator?...no...um, ..........totally drawing a blank here lol and I was in the Navy for 5 years. #-o

I do not think they have changed, which means that they still ramble on about which one of them is best. Actually I meant after While Guthix Sleeps. For those that have completed it, the game has altered slightly. We got wanted posters all over Fally, new statues of the fallen warriors and new people to replace some who died. Not to mention 2 aren't even in the game currently. What I mean is that maybe some other things changed when you finished the quest. I will definitely be keeping my eye open.

Its closer to 20k Magic, 10k Range, 8k Agility if you do a different action each time. Takes about 5 Minutes to gain roughly 35kish exp in 3 skills on a weekly basis. I'd say do it every Wednesday. The Circus is in Catherby right now.

I had an afterthought. Has anyone tried talking to the KBD Heads in a POH recently? Maybe he might have some updated info. Also, this is going to sound really out there...but here it goes. I did While Guthix Sleeps the first day. I didn't know the Balance Elemental lowered combat stats. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with what I'm about to say, but during the next fights with the Tormented Demons, my Summoning level boosted to 73. It is still that way today (73/68). We know you can't talk with baby dragon pets, because you can't get 99 Summoning to 109 Summoning. But I wonder what would happen if you had 99 Summoning and then did the fight next to the Stone of Jas. If it worked, then technically, you could talk to your pet. IF it is even programmed to have dialog, maybe they can tell you something you didn't already know too. These little tasks may be hard or impossible and god knows the payoff may not even be there. But its something to try.

First off, excellent post. =D> Got me all excited about the future of Guthix/Stone of Jas/Dragonkin lore. I personally spent a lot of time in the swamps while Shade Burning. I'm thinking I will go check out Castle Drakan when I get off work tonight. Has anyone been back there after the While Guthix Sleeps? Maybe there will be some new details? Btw, I think I'm switching Gods. I used to be a hardcore Sara follower (you know, doing good and being righteous), but I think I'm more aligned to Guthix beliefs. I hate the color green though.

I'll admit that I was unhappy with the game this time last year. Complaints were running so rampant, I literally left the RSOF forever. Made my home here instead. And over the last year, things have been nothing but good for all players that stayed in for the long haul. =D> Bravo Jagex...Bravo! =D>

I've always hoped for a Dragon Cape. Yeah its lame, but might as well finish out the Dragon Design. I'd hope it would look different than all other capes. We've seen with Accumalator and Bone Man Bag, that you can have other objects attached to your back. I would LOVE to see a Dragon Cape that looked like folded Black and Red Wings. Maybe even give an Operate feature that acts as an emote for the cape. Have the emote show you spread out the wings and bring them back in. Imagine...Dragon Full Helm, Dragon Platebody, Dragon Legs/Skirt, Dragon Boots, Dragon Gauntlets/Gloves, Dragon Claws with Dragon Cape to finish it off. That would be pretty pimp. If that came out, I would do anything and everything in my power to get all the required items for that outfit. As it turns out, the only thing I use that is Dragon is D Boots and D Legs. Oh I can only hope! :pray:

Well I guess that clears that all up. Thanks, man. Stupid RSOF. You do realize that they changed it for the complainers. Just like the adding the Assist for Dragonplates. Is it just me or does Jagex seem to crack under pressure a lot more than they used to? Its good that they are taking in player feedback a little more, but I personally think they just ruined the armor. More and more will come in as players flock to the area to get a hand up on the prices and then crash them just like everything else. To me, this was a giant step back. Oh and sorry Dragons_Might. Can't get the inside resources like the rest of you can.

You guys do realize that in movies and tv shows they throw cliffhangers at you, right? If old boy was opening a teleportation device, maybe he did escape, and left ashes to fool everyone. I don't know how many times in a tv show a person gets in there car and blows up, only to find out later, they survived it somehow. I'm going to call it right now. Hazelmere survived. Yet a week later he IS alive and has been working in the background to capture the Joker. Which gets him promoted to Commissioner Gordon...w00t! :lol: Wow that's a slap in the face to a few people, but full of hilarity all around. Is there some rule against quoting rsof? If not... I thought this confirmed that you only get one set...and that be it. Besides buying it for an insane amount.

A friend of mine has gotten elite legs from the elite black knights after the quest, so it's not impossible. My friend told me a Death Star was nearby. I totally believed him too. No pic, No Proof as they say around here. To help clear things up a little, you get one set of Elite Black Armor when you kill 3 of the guards. You get ANOTHER set inside Dark Squall's chambers. BUT you give that extra set to the prisoner so you can both escape unharmed. I would assume that if you didn't want to complete the quest (don't ask me why), you get out of there with 2 Full Elite Black Armor Sets. No clue on the Robes yet. Once you take it from the locker in Dark Squall's chamber it doesn't come back.

Looks like Runecrafting it is. 75 is nice and not far from 77 (my current Runecrafting goal). I just hate the fact that 400k exp in Construction is probably a ton of money saved. Oh well, always wanted to use the Giant Pouch...

First off, I know that the skill has to be 65 or higher. I'm looking at it like this so far. I don't really runecraft anymore because it is absolutely boring. I need a Gilded Altar, so this may be my top choice, so I can get closer to it. Summoning is really easy to train, but somewhat costly...however, I'm currently at Bunyips. The next best thing to look forward to is 88 Summoning for Unicorns, so 400K isn't going to push me there instantly. I happen to like Slayer and getting closer to 85 Slayer everyday. I'm not going to shorten my journey when I actually like doing this skill. Slayer is out. Prayer is easy to train (with a Gilded Altar), but expensive. However, I have never bought a single Dragon Bone. I get them myself quite often. So Prayer is out. Looks like a huge toss up between Runecrafting and Construction. Runecrafting because I HATE doing it, or Construction because I need something, it may put me much closer to it and reduce the cost of getting there. So...let's narrow it down. Construction or Runecrafting?
