  1. Before crossbow update the crystal bow was worth it. Now, it isn't. Crystal shield was always quite... Useless, now more than ever. Crystal bow allows you to safespot an aquanite! Crystal shield is a cheaper alternative to DFS, although I wouldn't recommend it. So, crystal bow has more uses.
  2. Hurt: Goonstalf Heal: Death7755 Life_Mage12: 50 Goonstalf: 45 Death7755: 55 Silver_Wits: 50 Pirate_Felix: 50
  3. meow.
  4. 370 Still team B ftw.
  5. I came to win.
  6. You macroed? Since when does macroing cause physical pain? No, I didn't macro, and that's why my appeal was accepted. P.S. If you were wondering WTF? How come I was banned then? It's because they caught me macroing maple longs on February... Lamely done compass control gave me out easily that time. Simply saying my reputation got destroyed... So this time they banned me while I was intesively fletching (fletching is the key) steel bolts (profit from fletching ftw!) for a few days (like 30-60k per day, while interrupting slayer assignments) in July (actually I was going for 99 fletching that time; summer means a lot of free time each day).
  7. so true Fully signed applet has enough privilleges to scan your system by whatever means neccessary. However, no external programs are used to scan the system (e.g. launching a native application, which would be captured by the firewall).
  8. 1. Firemaking. Yeah, you can burn... logs..., perhaps light some objects. Beacon lighting = desperate attempt to make a useless skill give some rewards. 2. Slayer. I say, you slay....... And you get xp, for what? It's NOT an army, it's an adventure game. Smoking kills, point system = desperate attempt to make a useless skill give some rewards. Other skills are quite well thought out... Have their uses.
  9. 470-480. Now that I decided to keep lvl 3 clue equip it's 490-496 (depends).
  10. Doing randoms asap without failure didn't help me from being banned. Although jagex accepted the appeal after 20 days (it was a 21 day ban). Fletching steel bolts for a few hours then doing something else (hand pain and boredom) didn't help either.
  11. I've also had a chat with Paul on this issue. He wasn't up-to-date on RuneScape rules, so he said (citation!): However, when I pointed out that: 1) They do not want the spider to die (trying to get a huge negative mage attack bonus) 2) The number of such players increased, now even lvl 110+ players do it 3) Some stand in the bank spot, as if they are hiding something (they don't want to be identified? that means they already think they are reportable) In conclusion, Paul stated that "this is definitely something we wouldn't want players doing" and that this is reportable under Macroing. P.S. However, if you see a talking "afker", do not report him, but warn him that he acts very much like an afker. If he decides to continue, don't say anything else and enjoy knowing he will be banned thanks to WBMs.
  12. I've only played normal SC yet, but I always get my clay on my own (though I start at a c4 object). I always give out clay if I already have the tool for anyone who asks or to everyone around if I get the first clay... It's a team game, so the earlier your team starts the real gathering, the better for you.
  13. I also experience random log outs even though no lag is visible (looks the same as if you were kicked) (I was kickbanned twice while playing = macroing minor (last appeal accepted), so I know how that looks like). And about lag, some worlds are noticeably faster than others. Your best bet is to check every world out there (for me Denmark > Canada > Sweden, even though I live near the Baltic sea) and look which suits you the best.
  14. Like more time wasted on bank opening/withdrawing/closing?
  15. Everquest.... Since EQ2 release it's popularity started to dwindle. How can you make something good by taking a half-failed model as a base? Maybe constant & quite frequent big updates/upgrades is the key? Anyway, UO is much better than EQ/EQ2 and it's failed sucessors (e.g. AO & similar).
  16. Balancing must be done prior to releasing content. Rebalancing equals to an extreme failure in development. The frequency doesn't matter, really. If you rebalance often, people who are like "Go get a job? Nah, i'll better play (insert singleplayer/mmo name here)" and who play 18/7 (those six hours include not only sleep, btw in our country we have quite a lot of such guys) get to enjoy the imbalance and pwn everyone with their imba char even though they fail at life, while people who play WoW for fun just get pwned and can gtfo - however frequent rebalancing pleases the players, because most players are just like zombies - they don't understand the situation. When rebalancing is done each six months/more it is awful, except that this time everyone can create an imbalanced character. Sure you might say that all other classes get highly unpopular due to the fact, but face the fact that noone wants to play a perfectly balanced game because everyone wants their choice to matter and definitely NOT SKILL (Like... "LOL U NOOB TANK I R PRO CUZ I HAVE LEIGHT ARMR AND DAGGER AND I TWO HIT ENY KLASS IN GAME!!!! LOL0l0l0l0l I PWN!"). Trust me, a perfectly balanced game is just for hardcore players, which are less than 10% of the gamer population. Blizzard is just trying to please the players. Players who don't understand a [cabbage].
  17. This gilded nub didn't answer my hyt! Taste Vengeance! [hide=Crazy Eric][/hide] Doublesnipe ftw: [hide=Serpent Eye, Ezkaton][/hide]
  18. Revs do wander through the volcano occassionally, but if you're lucky, they just keep gathering near the abyss mage and ignore the rest of the wild. If you range in ogre enclave, you're missing charms. Can't you just bring in guthans for healing and camp at brimhaven dungeon until you finish the task? The dogs do unaggro after a while.
  19. We need a lot more agility shortcuts (though high level ones are needed the most). Also, they could at least make some one-way agility-only and two-way grapple shortcuts around RuneScape.
  20. Thanks  , I assume they use a different world to have fast games only. Any information about rules, or should I ask around in that CC?
  21. That's it! I've had enough. Why is there only one mobilising armies themed world? It's the second time today I'm playing a game (the previous was bound to lose) and going to win, successfully issuing orders and stuff. BAM - login window opens. Do you have any idea what that means? 1. Lost 10-20k reward credits 2. Double squad costs 3. Lost special units (luckily I've already used them both times) There is NO problem with my internet connection and there was NO lag when issuing commands. Such disconnections are either a kick by a mod (unlikely), or the world's server's connection problems. I understand that USA's dedicated server services 85% of the time guarantee only a very minuscule bandwidth and unstable connection to outside-USA, but the actions taken after you are disconnected are just extreme. Why do we have that 4 minute limit for gaining ranks when such extreme measures are taken regardless if it's a forfeiter or world's connection problems? Why can't it be that if you forfeit [AFTER THESE 4 MINUTES and issuing at least 10 commands] (both by button and by getting dced) you just get your reward credits and only get all your squads crossed with X? That would be fair. Currently, it's just way beyond unfair. Why do I have to lose everything just because of the damn connection problems at New Jersey? Until a new themed world is introduced, I will simply not play MA. I don't care how long will I have to wait. P. S. Any good unofficial MA worlds in Europe (Canada seems to work fine too)?
  22. This is the most intelligent statement I've read thus far. Some people, myself included, have financial restrictions in their life that prevents them from having a Runescape membership year-round. I'm often spending months at a time in F2P. I don't want to pay $5 to buy a cape, then lose it when I lose my membership again. And people that say that F2P shouldn't be allowed skill capes are just ridiculous. Try getting a 99 on a free server. It's often exponentially more difficult than on members servers. You really think that they don't deserve recognition for doing more work than you? ...someone deserves a time out until they learn to share. At the very least, I'd like to see a change so that skill capes aren't referred to as a 'member's item' on F2P. I don't want to end up with a cape taking up a bank space because I accidentally unequipped it. And I don't really care if I have to buy a membership to buy a skill cape, I just want to be able to keep it in the event that my membership runs out. Just because they made their choice to play the exponentially harder version of the game, doesn't mean they must get something. Oh and I've just spent some time (more than 2 weeks, not 1 day) in f2p. I didn't bother training skills -> it's a waste. The only thing I could think of that was worth doing (and worth doing even more than in p2p) was FoG minigame.
