  1. Whatever... Although, I admit one of us didn't put anything logical. So, we are Jagex puppets if we think the game hasn't went downhill? :-k And.... You don't put any example of why you think the game went downhill...
  2. I don't find "noob" offensive, but what I find annoying is how many people discuss it. Its just a stupid word designed to "offend" people. I don't mind if you use that word with friends (exaggeration of course), but I don't take that word literally.
  3. Oh no.... Sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose an account.
  4. IT is, but because of so many bots, its challenging. Like Korea, which Jagex mentioned.
  5. Economy has been stable for the most part. Mostly because Jagex and us are focusing on defeating the bots. Want something unstable that happened after that big bot bust in May? Shark prices at 300-400gp ea Whats the problem with fast money? Anybody would want ways to get fast money. Anyway, X options really does help because we wouldn't have to click on lobbies just to cook something. Jagex did a good thing there. Want every item to be non-tradable? Jagex needs to attract the newer players because they have a higher chance of leaving RS than us. Besides, as high levels, we got tons of stuff to do. If you don't like the items/quests, don't it it, period. You seem to be labeling some of the best updates as a "downfall" to Jagex, when infact, it is popular. Anyway, Jagex knows how to make money, as all companies want to. But, look at popular games like WoW, they don't seem to take care of the bot problem. Jagex is doing their best to make sure the game is fun for high levels and low levels.
  6. Look, if the price was wrong (I do not know about trout prices), I wouldn't call you a noob (that guy you mentioned is clearly a non-thinker). That word "noob" is probably the most pointless way of being "insulted". Many people use it just to feel tough, but if you are called a "noob", just find something witty for a good comeback, "Thats Mr. Brenda Noob to you, mister!"
  7. I have quite a list: Freelancer Crysis demo UT3 beta Age of Empires 3 F.E.A.R and the list goes on.
  8. Some1 confirm this (I only saw 600 @ lowest). I rather have a more realistic example than an impossible one. :-w Unfortunately, I have no records of sharks being 300-400gp ea. Maybe the only way to find out is ask people who keep track of shark price records apart from me of course.
  9. You should follow your advice, because the price never once plunged to 200ea...Unless the amount of yew tree spawns is doubled :XD: For sharks to drop to 300~400 there must be 2x or 3x number of shark fishers that fish like an average fisher. But reconsider cause sharks are constantly expensed. First, that is what I call an "example". This never happened, but I'm pointing out what is "stable" in the RS economy. :XD: Second, I don't know if you were there, but before May 1st, 2007, sharks were around 300-400gp ea. How come? Sharks. Anyway, the point was that the bots only ruin the economy for everyone (its hard for the buyer to get sellers if something they are buying is so ridiciously cheap). Please read my posts if you want to quote them.
  10. :XD: Thats the best one for a few dozen pages.. I haven't had many good ones, just typical 'trust trade' scammers... :| Why thanks! Anyway, I forgot to add one more: player4: Aba, give me pass. I'm jagex me: No! I love my pass, Jagex. That mean I go find more passes player4: Aba, please give me your pass or you will be sorry me: No! My pass nice! player4: You stink [out of character for Jagex] me: You stink, jagex! I took shower [he never said a word again after that]
  11. Agreed as well. There are animals you can kill without warning in RS (those poor cows, chickens, wolves, spiders, etc). What can you do about lvl 132 ice wolves that are designed to kill you? Just complain to Jagex about animal abuse?
  12. Thanks for reminding us. Lets hope he doesn't do much damage because a scam like that, especially to pkers with vids, is so easy to fall for.
  13. Want humor? player1: free stuff plz me: Jaz su masc! My nama Borat! I like you! player1: ??? me: I am froma Kazahkstan! Very nice country! player1: free stuff me: What? You giva me free staff? player1: noob. :ohnoes: player2:Aba, whats that silver crown next to your name? me: Jaz su masc! I ama Borat. This crown is froma Kazahkstan! Is nice! player2: cool! Where do you live? me: I told you! I am froma Kazakhstan! player2: how old are u me: I ama 40-yearsa old! player2: I cant be friends with u, sry player3: Hey aba. I want 50k plz me: Whatt??? You don't give 50k free. You get executed in Kazakhstan! player3: stfu noob ur a mod me: Mod??? I do not know what you are saying! =D>
  14. :uhh: Thats just bull. I'm not telling you how mods do it, but I know they take action against any website mentioned (Except for the runescape website of course).
  15. So... Bots are good because they keep the economy "stable"? The last time there were so many bots, the shark prices went down to about 300-400gp ea. That meant that a lot of fishers wanted to fish lobs (around 200gp ea) because they were quicker than sharks. That meant that those who are cooking for 99 cooking found it harder to find people who would sell a lot of sharks. So, if you consider that "stable", then I recommend that you have your head examined. Especially Wcing bots. Example: the good honest player: Selling 10k yew logs 350gp ea!!! As you can see, the honest player is making money while being a rather nice guy. The autoer: Selling 100k yew logs 200gp ea What the heck happened? He lost his business to a bot! Later on, the yews became 200gp-300gp ea because many bots were selling yews at cheap pricers. That stable?
  16. Pointless rant... Don't wear the hood if you hate it, period.
  17. What decline? Runescape is as big as a java-based RPG can get. Look how many people play that game, why? It manages to have fair gameplay while being strict on the rules. What more could you want? anyway, I think RS will cancel if it becomes unprofitable (amazing how it is still standing since I believe that half of the RS players are playing Halo 3 online).
  18. The rule says specifically that you should not advertise websites. That even includes clan websites and fansites. Anybody could deceive newbies about going to w/ww.********.com for "great tips and help" and then that person would lose his account. I think the rule is fair because it protects the players from more than account hacking.
  19. I'm tired of these "Jagex doesn't care about RS" comments. I don't think they are aware that Jagex is really trying to remove bots and they may have to sacrifice subscriptions to do so. I'd rather want a game with a bot-free environment than a game with a screwed economy because of bots. Anyway, the article is spot-on about these people. Nice job, editor!! =D> =D> Now, why complain about the new shop update if it cleans the bots? Sure, you may have to find another way to get crafting xp, but there are many ways to crafting. Sadly, time has to be sacrificed to take care of those little s****.
  20. Yeah, we all hate wild dogs. But, it somehow prevents some bronze drag stealers.
  21. Wow, those nerds. Its funny how they act like they've spent their entire lives trying to hack RS accounts.
  22. Hey, we were all kids once and I'm sure some of us has been sore losers. Face it, we all are sore losers.
  23. So, lets all get full Jigsaw outfits next year! After that, lets all get chainsaws, plus a leatherface mask. Anything American will do....
  24. Oh, I'm an idiot because I have a pure and I whine about people with advantages? :-s
