Fly a kite, ice skating, roller skating, go to a park and do x there then have a picnic, go to the beach, if you have similar music interests you could go to dinner then go see a concert, if she's into cars then go to a car show... And then there's always dinner and a movie. Dinner afterwards. Always. Then you have no time constraint, with plenty of time for ... Dessert. ;) My next first date's plan is to go to a train station and screw with people. More specifically, re-enact the first SNL skit, where the guy dances and sings the chorus's of songs and then awkwardly stands for the verses. I'm thinking some Daggering and/or [bleep] slang to Rick Ross's Hustlin'. After that, we're comparing oriental resteraunts [my favorite verse hers], and settling in and watching some stand up comedy. From there? Play it by ear, but dessert is always on the table ;)

I've actuually had a dream where that very thing described by OP happened. I layed down on my bed and jsut took it like a man. What would I actually do? I'm happy for ya Dan :thumbsup: So...the girl I'm into now [the one from the group I mentioned a few posts ago] is pretty cute. But, there's one or two little quirks. Okay, quirk isn't the right word. I'm in to quirky. This is more of a semi-deal breaker. It's time sensitive though, and surely fixable. She's got a bit of a 'stache. Now it's not like a full on beard or anything, it's not much more than peachfuzz, however it is infact a rather dark shade. Now, how does one go about pointing out this benign flaw without coming off as an [wagon]hole? She's hella cute, but that stache has GOT to go before I make any more attempts. Sounds a little shallow, but honestly...would you feel any different? Just wondering if there's some wort of slick subtle way to get the message accross that she'd be gold witha little waxing. Halp?

I think romy likes being "equal" to her boyfriend, where having him be under age feels untraditional. Either that or she subconciously like being 'dominated'. Not nesearily in the S&M sense, but in the social standard man is older, taller, stronger sense. But that's just me being presumptuous again.

[.5][age]+7 has worked pretty well in my opinion. But I'm not one to talk of ages in relationships, as I seem to go for the younger woman folk. It's not that I wouldn't love to have one my age, I just find girls my age or older to be rather jaded and/or grossly 'overqualified'. I like girls taht still believe in Disney style love and romatisims, which apparently tend to be the girls of 15-17. Girls my age however are more like...Get me drunk and you'll get lucky. Not very appealing to me.

You speak the truth. As for telling a girl she's too young? No girl is too young ;) Im' kidding I say jsut tell her exactly that, she is too young and you need an older woman to call your own. New places to find girls? the thing is, the harder you look, the harder it seems to find one. I usually just trip over them at random. You said take the subway to some place? GREAT idea. Hell, even the subway can be a meeting place. That's how I met one of my latest female friends. I was taking a train to my college to take a placement test, and she happened to be going to do the same thing. Anywhere can be a meeting ground. Just keep your chin up, and your mind ready.

Meeting new people solves everything. Seriously. Until you turn your back, get caught in the inbetween and try to balance both edges of your life. The transition stage is rough, getting through it is key. And 'liking' too many people at once, while knowing you don't actually give a [cabbage] about any of them is getting tiresome. Is a normal mutual relationship too much to ask for these days?

true, but because the two of them are friends, and are both members of the friend circle I'm trying to hang out with, I'm not sure continuing the pursuit of the new girl is the best idea, especially right after telling off the other one. eh, I'll probably end up doing what you said anyway.

Classic triangle issue. Chick likes me. I have little to no interest in her. But her place is where all her friends go to hang out. A group I'd kind of like to get in with. She's cool, and fun, but I'm simply not attracted to her. She also happens to be friends with one of my closer friends and his girlfriend [who belong to this aforementioned group]. Anyway, this chick is all up in my stuff, and I had flirted with her previosly as a wingman because my other friend was trying to hookup with the girl she was with on the prior occasion. Now, here's the problem. iI was with this group, when another girl enters the picture. One I'm actually atracted too, and also part of the group. I've been talking to her, it doesn't seem to be too mutual, but I can't make too many moves to make any progress otherwise since the girl that likes m has always been around when I'm with this new girl. My guess the resolution to this problem is just coming clean to the girl taht likes me and tell her I'm not interested. But at the same time, I'd really like to get in with this group, and its a rather shaky start if I'm goin' aroun breaking hearts. It'd be especially bad if I ended up with the chick I'm chasing now by some off chance. Is there adifferent solution, or am i just gonna have to face the music and deal with the fact that I'll probly never be with the new girl?

I'm basically the same way. My process for failure goes as follows: 1. meet girl 2. talk to girl 3. flirt with girl 4. get rejected and asked for friendship 5. claim i can't be friends with someone that i'm constantly attracted to 6. move on if they come back to me, i immidialty start with not aloof uncaring bleh for conversation, but may warm up to flirting to attempt to restart the process minus steps 4-6.

Let this quote stand as a lesson to everyone. Tell how you actually feel. Don't lie, or you'll end up miserable. Truth is simple. It may have been awkward for Howlin0001 to say "I am in love with you" , and obviously that would have been a heavy phrase to drop [especially over a text]. But let the record show, had he said what he really felt, he wouldn't have have felt the pain of knowing he put himself in a lie he may never find his way out of. Essentially, a self-proclaimed friendzone. Take the risk. Always take the chance. Even if you fail, if you give it your all, you have nothing to fret over. Now, to Howlin directly, I suggest that you move on from [name]. Your tale is that of a romantic, and many people would love to here it's intimate moments and your burning desire. But, it doesn't look like that audience includes [name]. A lot of girls would love a guy like yourself, you just need to as you [and I quote] put it "grow up". [name] grew up, got new friends, got more plans, involvoed herself in the real world. I suggest you do the same. You can always cherish your memories with [name], but use them as motivation to be a better you. Right now you're just "the pen-pal from accross the pond". If you want her, you're going to have to work for it, but due to your mistake, your going to need to take a few steps back. Focus on your life for a while. Gain friends, interests, hobbies, work, ethics, yadda yadda. At worst, all of these activities will get your mind off of her. You will then find yourself "growing". Then you can be that "attractive girl that she blossomed to be"...only you'd be "the handsome man that came out of his shell". Once you achieve your goal of having a new and improved lifestlye, you can start a conversation with her over facebook or whatever. Just a simple "haven't talked in a while, been busy, how are you?". And now you're back at square one with a much bigger advantage. But honestly, I'm leaning towards you improving yourself and then sticking to those priniciples and move on with yo'damn self.

hahahahahahahahaha I seriously sat in my chair and chuckled for a good minute and a half. Quick poll: How many of you are left leans vs right leans? [when kissing] My friend who's very into his gun club made an interesting observation. I recall Lent saying that he was left-lean to be different. I told my friend this, and he said that he was left lean because he was left-eye dominant [he holds his rifle lefty]. So i sort of see an interesting coorelation between eye dominance and which way you naturally lean to kiss. Are most people right eye dominant, as they are right handed?
