  1. for level40 option1: mine 1741limestone bricks (mine is between varrock and temple @salve: far away from bank); *cost: nothing except maybe butlercosts and teleports option2: grab 1201 normal planks at the 4 spawns in barbarian outpost. There's a deposit box nearby. Make or buy enough nails. (maybe 2k or 3k nails) *costs: Nails+butler costs/teleports option3: make 1201normal planks. *costs: 120.1k+butler/teleports Option4: Make 581 oak planks *Costs: 146k Option5: *buy 581oak planks *costs: a small 300k (if oak planks are still 500ea)
  2. Buy a small 108cosmics and a lava-staff go to mage training area, and cast highest level enchant untill you get 99mage (107,896in the mta enchanting chamber for you) I heared it's quite fast+it doesn't cost you too much. (or you could curse to 99, but that would turn you nuts; enchnanting would cost you 16 to 17mil) another option is getting herblore closer to 82
  3. Another option I just thought of: try what the zombie-thingies (level73) at the entrance of shilo says? (never a person, no good drops as far as I know, but easy xp I think)
  4. Abyss area of fairy rings also crowded? else do some more slay (till 90)
  5. Oh, also a cheap otpion, but not so cool: use your favourite color of dye on desert robes. (it has no weight and it can fit your haircolour and stuff  )
  6. Train runecrafting, and make your own runes. Other option: buy the runes and go battle monsters that drop enough to cover (most of) the costs. It would also help if you told us you're member or not.
  7. irits are easy to get in ge, but cost quite a bit (count on over 1.3k loss a potion) eyes of newt seem to be harder to get (smaller profitmargin for sellers) you can make super anti's (take 2k loss a pot into account) antifires (my level herblore) are harder to make due lack of lantadyme sellers :(
  8. I never bring equipment to abyss (just house tele, ess and pouches) I only use abyss for repairing pouches Just try to "squeeze threw gap" or "distract eyes" and btw: if you are attempting to get into the middle ring, the animation shows monsters attacking you, but they don't really hit you. (just try fast enough until you get threw)
  9. alching is cheaper (yew longs seem to alch good; but I don't really alch for mage: I do combatmagic and make some tabs from time to time)
  10. I googled aru+runescape, and I guess it's some cheatingprogram/autotalker (didn't visit the result-sites and I strongly suggest you don't visit them either)
  11. Ghostly robes are nice (and give an accent to whatever item you carry for the rest) Another nicelooking thing can be a banner: talk to the dude in fally for getting a heraldic crest and use a plank and cloth on a banner easel in someone's POH; you can use mine; if you get 70pray you can even make a guthix/sara/zammy banner (getting 70pray would be 2417 dragbones for you; meaning about 5mil if drag bones are still about 2k ea) Random events sets seem to work fine too If you really want to brag: wear full drag or a barrowsset (no repaicosts if aren't fighting ;) ) any quest-items can be fun to (lotsa noobs don't know what they are; and sometimes I have to think myself from what quest an item is (and I did all quests) another option is wearing nothing, but going to the haircutter in fally, get some braces in keldagrim, going to clothshop in varrock,... (basicly getting a cool look without needing to worry you loose anything valuable on death due random/real bad luck)
  12. Lol, just do wildy with only some food in your inventory (cakes being most convenient: just steal some loads in ardougne, lever to wildy, after that usemage arena bank a bit. I only saw a revenant orc so far inside the course, but he didn't catch up on me (he was always on a different piece of the course than me; probably the most agile orc I've ever seen)
  13. There's one reasson to get it higher: at 90fm, you can use a magic log in the furnace of the new quest. (not much use)
  14. I wouldn't bump it right away. Maybe bumping is against forum-rules, but I don't think anyone would mind if there are at least a few hours between each post.
  15. Another skill certainly involved will be slayer. from latest development diary: You need 25slay to kill cockatrices, so maybe you also need that slaylevel to summon them?

Consider greaters @ogre enclave dungeon (if you did watchtowerquest): con is you need telegrabs, pro is they drop decent clues from time to time and don't have great defence. Another option is doing the minigame in the rangeguild (costs quite a bit; but you can get some rune arrows, and fairly easy and safe xp)
  17. It's easy to check: *search for rank 1mil (or 999.999) in the stat you want in hiscores; if a person with that rank exist: get more xp in that skill and you'll be in hiscores *if such a person doesn't exist, just get level30 in that stat and you're ranked.

Get 50 slay and safespot bloodvelds. (they do drop lots of bloods and some stuff worth alching) Else ankou: they drop lots of bloods and deaths, but are often crowded. (use bones to peaches if you decide to do those: keeps you longer there, and is rather cheaper than normal food; can be bought in tabletform in the ge) dark wizards are a slow to get bloods, but they're easy to kill, no food needed when wearing d-hide. (althought I don't recommend them) Easiest is just seeing what monster gives you best drops, get cash from them and buy bloods from ge (they're priced pretty low now)
  19. Prices fluctuate harder now. You got 2 options: *sell now and live with your losses *wait till prices go up again.
  20. Basicly: take a lot of cash and noted planks with you, have a saw and a hammer and some unnoted planks use noted planks on ubutlern, he says "shall I redeem that certificate", you say "yes", enter the number (20with normal butler); you build-remove larders, butler comes back, you get planks, send him for next load... he asks 5k every 8trips (so for each 160planks, you pay the butler 5k for transport)
  21. If you really want a cape, go for the questcape: it's easier then a 99 (more different things, less boring) I got a questcape and no 99 (highest 93str), and lots of people find it cool. (dunno why they think that since it's more easy than cook-cpae in my opinion)
  22. Dude, I can make easily 200k or more profit and 30k xp an hour doing tabs. (also boring, but it got the benefit you can always quit it and do something else while the ge gets you your cash)
  23. oK, maybe train mage (for better mage def) another option is training herblore, but with ge, pots are easy to get. Now I saw your conlevel, I strongly advice to get to 50con: 2portal rooms can save you loads of troubles: easy to get to canifis, and whatever other portals you install. (+dunno the level for mounted glory; but I've used mine countless times) it also comes inhandy a one-click-tele (housetab) get you fast acces to lots of different places.
  24. Or (a bit more tendious): go to SoS, at the lowlevel minotaurs: lots of people there, you get a lot of iron arrows too, and they're easy to kill and only level10 (most people don't pick up the bones)
  25. Maybe that sara sword (not sara godsword), I heard it's 20mil-ish, about as good as whip and got a strength-option.
