Every time I see a long article that doesn't have a lot of pictures, I always just go back to general discussion...I was about to do that, then I noticed the name "Qeltar" in the top left, and settled in and read the whole article. Very interesting, I haven't been there yet, but it sounds interesting, and i'll have to check it out. Yet again, nice article.

My friend posted a suggestion about this on RSOF the day of the update, he suggested that there be a toggle option, similar to accept aid, and let that decide if your stuff shows up right away or waits a minute. Sorry if that link that the guy posted was of my friend, I was too lazy to check.

Looks like a good update, my friend just sold 525k eyes of newts for 150 each in half an hour, when he was selling for 130 ea and sold maybe 100k of them before the update.

I like the first 2 ideas, they seem like something Jagex would use to partially satisfy the staker community.

They probably did it because people when people searched partyhats (just an example) they would see something like "buying white partyhat 100m" (I don't know exact prices but you get the point) and they'll post, not bothering to check that it's RSC and not RS.

You were killing Armadyl boss with 2 other friends, and one of them gets Armadyl Hilt. He goes and sells it via grand exchange, but how does he split the money with his 2 teammates if they can't directly trade? Unless Jagex thinks of something very creative, I can't see them taking out trading in the future.

No calling phats stupid, especially yellow (the one I have). If that actually happens, then I'll probably start wearing my hat more too.

Looks pretty cool, but I'd hate if they actually made dragons as something you could summon (I'm not quite sure how summoning will work yet, but if it's anything like I think it'll be, dragons would be too cheap). Edit: After rereading it, I guess i was wrong and that the stuff that is hidden has already been released, so now summoning looks fine.

Came in 2nd...Every single fight I've lost at duel arena was to a veracer, I even died to a combat 96 once.

My first pair since October '05 (I was around 80 combat, I'm 124 now). It was my 2nd to last dragon in that task, and I've done every iron dragon task since around 90 slayer (98 right now)

Some people are saying that, because of the new staking update, the staker's cant blow money on high priced items anymore, so they are lower in demand. My friend also told me that it was a random clan that was trying to lower prices (I'm not sure if I believe it, but prices are seeming to go back up). Either way, I think this should belong in help and advice section.

Very interesting, what would happen to the people who get good drops from godwars and have to split the money then (just an example but still...).

If life runes go into the mage stores, then there will already be a set price when they come out, because of the shop having unlimited stock.

Yeah, I thought about that too, they posted the "big update" 2 months in advance so that they could let the hints slip out, and keep people playing even with the duel arena stuff.

That comment made my day. In my opinion, it was a temporary update by Jagex to make us to try out the tournament, instead of just sticking to 1v1 staking where you can stake more and have better chances of winning.

Jagex upset a LOT of people with this update, but I'll have to try it out to see before I judge it...If it really is a max stake of 3k, then that seems pretty stupid.
