  1. We're doing Romeo and Juliet in English, and today we watched parts of the 1968 version and the 1996 one. I really liked what I saw of Romeo + Juliet (the latter), by the creator of Moulan Rouge! I want to watch the whole movie. Complete 90's nostalgia.
  2. Yeah, we lost DARE when I was in sixth grade. Apparently the commercials of kids wearing hoodies and walking away discourage drugs. We need our "brains on heroin," man... That commercial scared the [cabbage] outta me. But, uh, yeah. This sounds like a stupid move.

Pretty sure that movie you're thinking of is "What the Bleep do We Know?!" My brother's really into those sorts of things. I think that film is interesting, and more or less shows my views on the universe. Of course a good deal off, but generally, the idea that the universe is abstract and driven by thought - that's an attractive concept I've held for quite some time.
  4. I'll likely be driving a BMW. But it's from 1987. And I have to fix it. And it's 900 dollars. >_> My family is really made up of all sorts. Me, my dad, and my brother act a lot like we're blue-collar workers, and sometimes we are. My brother-in-law makes more money than my mom and dad combined (he's an engineer for Exxon), but he's worked in oil fields since he was 15. My brother also likes to act affluent. My sister got used to being wealthy quick. My mom, well, she's just my mom.
  5. Every stand-up comedian since 1988 seems to have beaten you to the punch.

Haha, Hindu holidays are the best. Looks like so much fun.
  7. Dang. And some guy in Alabama drove around town and killed at least ten people just walking around before killing himself the other day.
  8. Baba O'Reilly. LAWL. Black Hole Sun ... Dracula from Houston. Arr.

There are tons of radio stations, at least here. I can name the jazz, blues, R'n'B, techno, pop, hip-hop, gangster rap, and classic rock stations in my city. Plus eighteen or so latin music stations. I hate music elitism. There are just as many good bands as bad bands that are popular or less-known. More-known bands are just more at risk for decline and basically the ruination of their music. The amateur artists, well, to be honest, a lot suck. Of course there are tons that are great and should be popular, but there are plenty that I would never listen to in my right mind. Namely some of the local performers here. :?
  10. That sounds like fun. Oh boy, it'd be nice if we were having economic prosperity when I go off to college.

Oh lawd I wish. But yeah, it's a conspiracy. We're here to find that fountain of non-youth. Age.

Oh, I guess some actual situations. Strangely similar to yours. Me and a few friends sitting, enjoying some real, bottled Dr. Pepper. Glass. Mm, I want one now.
  13. Augh, I hate that. I think length of your flying factors in.
  14. I've listened to a lot of those. I think I have one or two on vinyl, I should check. But it's a good list, for namely popular music. Yeah, I have the mp3 James Brown and Marvin Gaye. Now to check the other sixty. I have Dire Straits and Nas on mp3. Um ... Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin ... Maybe I don't have any of these on vinyl. THAT MAKES ME MAD. Well, never mind. Highway to Hell. I have a lot of those on my Zune, though. I have a whole lot on those 1001 albums.

Cars, music, friends, food, books, movies, games, ladies, travel... Not much I don't enjoy, to be honest.
  16. Apparently I don't know what sheltered means. I should edit my post.

I realized I'm not graduating until 2012. AHHHHHHHHHHH I HAVE TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE. I wish I wasn't so fixated on how much better my life'll be during college. It sure would suck if all that came crashing down. I would be SO MAD
  18. I think that not meeting a a person you're forming a relationship with is stupid. As in not meeting them period. That just seems so strange to me. WHAT IF THEY ARE A ROBOT WHAT IF

OVERPASSES PISS ME OFF. There are so many holes and crap. I've fallen to my death like ten times today. AUGH.
  20. Haha, yeah, I'd love an El Camino. But, my parents would rather buy me a hundred motorcycles made of gold. They hate El Caminos that much
  21. Religion can be faith in anything. It's just more commonly a large, organized structuring with rituals and traditions, dedicated to the vague notion of a particular deity. There's a very, very thin (almost nonexistent) line between religion and personal beliefs, which is nigh impossible to interpret.

So, what are your votes? A must-see? Or is the Manhattan's baring of his, "soul" too much to ... bear.
  23. These would probably all sound really bad. Most of these people come from very different backgrounds. I'll try one I've actually heard to some extent. Aw hell, this would sound bad too  Vocals - Muddy Waters/Phil Collins Lead guitar - Stevie Ray Vaughan Rhythm - Buddy Holly Keyboard - Phil Collins Synthesizer - Brian Weitz OH LAWD NO BASS HAHAHAHA Drums - Phil Collins
  24. I don't know where you're pulling all this crap into a simple sentence. You treat atheism as a religion, and act as if others are less for not being the same as you? Well, for one thing, you're an idiot, you shouldn't really think that for anything. But if you treat atheism as such, you're treating it religiously, so get off your high horse and realize nobody gives a [bleep] if you rant and whine about religion - until another crazy comes along and you can crazy fight. This wasn't really directed at anybody in particular. I don't want to get in trouble.
  25. Probably more sheltered than most on this world, less than most of the people I actually know. But, hiding it behind a mask of complacency is nice.
