I wonder if Revenants can go down there?

I think f2p revenants ought to be a bit easier. They should cast F2P spells and the sort, instead of ancients.. but should still teleblock. I think they should have drops that makes them worth killing too. That way people will band together in Revenant killing trips and all go as a team to slaughter revenants together.

I bet f2p is gonna love the new pker free greater demons... ... though maybe not, as revenants on f2p may be worse than any f2p pker.

I know I will always repair or maybe even bless (Depending on the toll blessing takes on me and whether or not I need my prayer points) any gravestone I run into. Maybe even read it and send the guy a message to tell him to run back for his stuff and im keeping the gravestone safe for him (so long as im not too busy) =)

The world isnt a world for people to fight them in. Its a world just meant to filled with more people there than usual, meaning you have a less chance of being attacked by a Revenant because there a more people, who can temporarily band together to finish one off quickly whenever one comes to bother them. Just like the official ZMI RC world.

Now that the wildy is no longer that advantageous to be on an empty world for, thanks to revenants, would it not be helpful for the players to design an official Wilderness world? This world would be helpful as there would be many people to keep off the Revenants. Of course, a few things such as Rune Rocks and Green Dragons may need empty worlds, but Abyssal RCing, Red Dragon killing, and other things to do in the wilderness at a populus resource area would be helpful to have a world full of people fending off the enemies! Opinions?

What's the point of having tb if theres no wildy pking? Bounty Tele is way more useful than that now.

It seems to me that Runescape is becoming more like when I started. Smaller community, and harder to get money.

I dont mind the new updates much. I would prefer them, of course, but if it truly removes autoers and RWT forever then I am happy with it.

I black mask kill it all the time. Just use full torags with whip and obby shield. Wear a god or skillcape.

If you want to buy or sell more than one of an item then just increase the buy amt.

How do you plan on doing RFD and Royal Trouble with a level3 though?

We must be very different then. So long as im not too depressed that I just ignore everyone when Im playing, I generally find a cheer up by being as helpful to everyone around me (I think ive given away soooooo many free tellies so far O_O), like people who need random quest advice or items and such. Something just makes me feel better knowing that I've made someone else feel better. Making other people feel bad pretty much makes me feel horrible =P

Erichermit you hit the target! I believe all RPGs in general allow an escape, just like movies, anime, and books. As long as you have a social life, its all good. =) Thanks. I forgot about movies and books and stuff but I often use those as well! It's just so nice to be engrossed in another world sometimes, you know?

I get more of t his kind of escape from RPGs in general, not just Runescape. I can allow myself to become the character I am playing for a short while, not the current person I am at the moment (who would at that time be sad. I'm quite happy today though =) ) Like what a few others have said here, it's also important to not let social activities falter from this. I know Ive been tempted tons of times to blow off social encounters to play Runescape, but if I have to, I force myself. And I'm always glad I did afterwards. =)

Nice thread. Where's the discussion? The discussion would be for other people who can relate and talk about the pros and cons to finding an escape in runescape. Nice empathy btw.

Ah yes, I misinterpreted your statement Kinslayer. I suppose it's true that one could make more friend selling and buying, but I have never been able to do while I was doing that. Ive added a few people but they never seemed very interested for long. I think its just two people who share common interests. You make friends with merchants and stuff because, im guessing, you enjoy buying and selling and have lots of buy sell stories. On the other hand, the person I am making friends with is most likely a avid slayer like me. We can talk about tasks, how much we hate Black Demons, brag about good tasks and drops, and race each other. You would have trouble doing this with a avid slayer because you are not. I would have trouble talking about all the best buying and selling deals because the best Ive ever got is from a general store: 16 snapdragon herbs for about 100gp.
