Iowa, and now Vermont, Pass Same-Sex Marriage Laws
You think Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi will accept gays in 5 years? What are you smokin'? The question was "how long it will be till *most* US states legalize gay marriage?"...most, not all.

Suicide (Statistics, Philosophy, etc)
I'm not a big fan of suicide (who is right?) but for the most part I can understand why it does happen, even as much as it does. In some of the cases I blame the individual who commits suicide, but in others I blame the people around them. Suicide is one of the most selfish things one can do, but sometimes being selfish is the best option in a person's life - and as bad as it is to think about, I can guarantee a decent number of the people who commit suicide are happy thinking about it/doing it.

That's funny that this was posted the same day as the thread about the Shamwow dude.

What movie(s) did you last see?
This last weekend I gathered a list of movies that I hadn't seen but wanted to, then watched as many as I could. The Prestige - pretty good movie Lock, Stock, & Two Smoking Barrels - amazing movie, I've seen Snatch and new this one was very similar but never got around to watching it Snatch - after watching ^ I just had to, another amazing movie The Usual Suspects - pretty good movie, I didn't like it as much as I would've if I had watched this before I watched a lot of newer movies with similar plot twists or other thematic elements The Mating Habits of Earthbound Humans - I thought it was a hilarious movie, as I'm sure a lot of you guys would too...but it's one of those movies where if you like that type of comedy you'll enjoy it but if not you'll just think it was dumb.

Is God real post your thoughts!
God is able, just chooses not to. Then why do we believe he is omnipotent? This just in, I could kill you all just by saying your names. I just choose not to. Nobody's saying you have to believe God is omnipotent. But for the sake of the discussion, I'll say that the creation of the universe must be evidence enough for those who do believe God is omnipotent. As for your example, it involves the abilities of a human which we know a lot about. The thing about God is He is, for the most part, a mystery to us. Science tells us that you cannot kill us all by saying our names. Science also tells us that the cause of natural disasters is Nature, meaning it's outside of our control, but some people choose to go further and believe that something (God) is controlling Nature. Science and Religion do not conflict with each other as much as people think, because the majority of Religion is the believing in things beyond the world of Science.

South Park - Season 13 discussion
At least the episode wasn't a complete waste, I personally think it had an instant classic moment in it when Butters got queefed on then his reaction that followed. I laughed quite a bit when that happened. *slurp-poof* ... AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What would you have done?
I find it surprising how paranoid people are about giving out their address...I mean, it's not like we all have secret invisible houses that can't be seen as it is.

Iowa, and now Vermont, Pass Same-Sex Marriage Laws
Uh, there is no bandwagon yet...states allowing same-sex marriage are still in the minority.

It says nowhere in the Bible that God is perfect, just all-knowing. if he knows all then he should have known what not to do, if he is all powerful he could compress time to give himself an infinite amount of time to contemplate but were getting off topic Debates such as this are pointless in the most extreme sense of the word. Any debate with an intelligent and well versed/knowledgeable christian is.What does that mean?It means that there are infinite "loopholes" for christians to jump through during any debate. I'm not putting down christians in the least, in fact I'm commending the abilities that well versed/knowledgeable and intelligent christians have when it comes to debating. But seeing as how neither side can be right and it all boils down to what you believe in, they are pointless debates.

What would you have done?
You guys can't really say "You did the right thing" when there's not really a right or wrong involved. He did the good/nice/kind thing, yes, but not the "right" thing.

He wasn't telling YOU to guess, he was saying you [in general] guess on the tests.

SAT and ACT
To be honest, those tests are the biggest joke ever. All standardized tests are.

5 Random Facts About Yourself
Hugs are better than kisses. ;) And more meaningful imo. But a kiss where she comes running at you and jumps up and you catch her as she wraps her arms and legs around you then you share a kiss that's full of energy, those are the best.

Trip Room!
If you're still living at home with your parents, any money you spend out of your own pockets should probably go into things that you can bring with you as you move (off to college and/or your own apartment/house).

Trip Room!
The interesting thing is most people wouldn't even realize something like a bedroom could be that kick*** (without a boatload of money that is, and I'm assuming he didn't spend too terrible much on his room). I, for one, would've probably never even thought of transforming my bedroom into something as sweet as that because I just think of it as a place to sleep. But now that I have seen it - it's like dang, I'm definitely gonna start thinking about what I could do and experiment with my ideas. :

Learning to accept myself...
If you're this worried about talking to someone about it, then at least make sure that when you do talk to someone about it, it's in person.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Yeah. With teenagers, their moods fluctuate so often it's not even worth relying on friends. What? Are you guys sixty or something? Everyone in my famly has kept friends from elementary school. I still have a few, pretty much all of my brother's friends have been with him since third grade, and my sister met her husband barely after high school, but she didn't like the people at her high school so she wasn't friends with them. Although you'll probably keep friends of the same-sex easier, I've noticed. Mainly because some of those girls will get HOT. It all depends on how you change throughout high school, and how your friends change. When I was in elementary school I played all the sports so I was really good friends with all the other guys in my class who played all the sports. As high school came around I still was playing sports as were the rest of them, but they also got into partying/drinking/chewing whereas I didn't - so I started hanging out with my not-so-good of friends who didn't play sports and ended up becoming best friends with several of them, and remain very close friends with them to this day.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
You're 13...you shouldn't be seeking lifelong friends at this point in your life, and if you are you'll probably end up very disappointed in the years to come. Besides, you obviously haven't been good friends with her for very long if she just up and says "we're not longer friends", so don't worry about it.

There's always something about those art teachers eh? Uh, no. All the art teachers I've ever had have been - let's just say not attractive.

Learning to accept myself...
That brings up the question of whether or not we're meant to live life for ourselves versus living life for others though.

bro its two guys I know, it's the whole "put yourself in their shoes" thing...except I didn't think he'd be wanting to picture getting asked to have a threesome with 2 other guys.
