I'm doing my Irish equivalent to the GCSE's right now. This is how our school system works if you're interested: Age 4-8 you're in junior school. Age 8-12 you're in senior school. Age 12-18 you attend secondary education, most schools call themselves "colleges" rather than schools. Age 18 - "X" You attend university or don't and just get on with life. For my LC (Irish equivalent to A levels) I need to average 90% in 6 tests so I can hopefully do Law in Ireland's top university. If I don't get that then I'll just get a Pilot's licence and fly for someone like Ryanair, they've a pretty cool Pilot's scheme. If all else fails I'm joining the British army and enrolling into the Paratroopers regiment and then hopefully some day be accepted into the SAS. After my GCSE's are over I'm spending my summer getting wasted, working, playing golf and avoiding the law most likely, then again I'm on half name terms with half of my local police force -.-

No we should move away from short-term solutions and start looking at long-term, cleaner and renewable energy sources. We're just going to screw the world up more if we keep using Oil. Also 4 dollars a gallon is quite cheap when compared to other countries, be happy you only pay 4 dollars. Even if a spill doesn't occur a [cabbage] load of Co2 is released into the air furthering the effects of global warming, shouldn't we consider the future world I.E our children, their children etc in these choices as these choices essentially decide what their world will be like. Actually, if you think about it, 10 years ago it was less than half the price it is now. That would be the reason we Americans complain about the gas prices. On another note, This would be a RENEWABLE resource, with less carbon emissions than that of the oil we currently use. Also, we wouldn't be using new crops, it would be waste, such as wood chips, corn stalks, and other things that usually just get tossed or set aside. Why not see where this new technology is headed? It may only be a temporary solution until we get better technology for "greener" ways of travel, but it's better than what it is now. First of all, please don't ever write in such an annoying colored font again. Oil in America is still cheap. Many countries in Europe are paying close to 8-10 Dollars a gallon, you're getting it cheap. But then again it could be the good ol' stereotype that you all love your stupid, gas guzzling SUV's so that's where the actual cost adds up. By saying "we americans" it sounds like you're being victimized by the Oil companies such as Shell and others, you're not the only country with Oil problems. :roll: Either way those bugs are releasing carbon, and if you read my post you would realise I was talking about Jack's idea of just finding more Oil and using that. The bugs are a good idea but they haven't even been proven as a viable replacement yet.

Find me a source then on this .3 theory, considering the world's heat has risen by 1 degree in the last 20 years and the release of Greenhouse gases is currently booming I would much more believe the 5 degree theory than the .3 theory. That is a truly freaky / scary experience. 1 time would just be coincidence but 2/3 times is very weird considering you used to have a white cat and it would run in direction of the cats grave area. I've had a weird experience like that before. I was walking up the stairs onto my landing which was pitch black. I thought I saw a figure, almost human like, a somewhat translucent slightly glowing "object" float across the landing. When I ran up there was nothing there, but I definitely think I saw something. It didn't have any distinct human like features, just the general shape. I've never really believed in ghosts but that was something which I found very weird.

Jack go through my past posts and find 1 post where I even mentioned nuclear power. I never once mentioned nuclear power, I only mentioned Tidal, Wind, Hydro and Solar power, all clean and safe renewable energy sources. There is a much higher expected increase in global temperatures than .3 degrees celcius. There is so many other forms of energy that are safer, cleaner and cheaper to use which have very few negative effects on the plant other than the carbon released during the construction of them. It's quite selfish of us to take the easy route out now while knowingly [bleep]ing up the future generation's planet. What happens when we run out of Oil, there would have been no serious investment in renewable energy sources by then. So instead of looking for more Oil we should be putting serious amounts of money into renewable energy sources and other areas. Oil is not only used in Cars and Electricity production, it is what plastics are made of and a key ingredient in many cosmetics. So instead of taking your easy route out we should be investing serious amounts of money into renewable technology and drop this [cabbage] attitude that it's next generations problem to deal with, even though we're the cause of it.

ANWR is in Alaska dude. Well then change it to the area you were talking about near Cuba, I didn't look into it, just from what I saw in your messages it seemed Anwr was the Cuban area. And even if it's in Alasks it'll end up coming Via a Oil tanker most likely, doing it Via trucks is hugely expensive and uneconomical.

I've never been one for praying so I'll just wish you, your family and your Uncle the best of luck. Don't listen to the people saying anything about God, you have your views and you shouldn't be challenged on them (especially at this time), having faith in these situations can be very helpful. Although you can't communicate with him it can still be very helpful just to sit with him. I got this today, pretty happy with it. I know my non-buyables are pretty crappy so I'm working on them as soon as I get 70 FM done. Computer lagged as I took picture so unfortunately Auburn and Bacon's grats didn't appear but thanks to everyone who gratsed me 1700 Total My Bank I know my bank is pretty crappy and my money pile is nothing but I've spent pretty much all my money on Skills and Slayer supplies. My bank keeps my going and is based around the skills I enjoy most, Slayer and Rc.
