Swedish: "Nästa vecka i RuneScape: Kommer hon hitta sin [bleep]destination? -Johan" Found it here: http://twitter.com/OfficialJagexSE EDIT: Didn't realize that the censor would bleep out part of a word in another language. If you want to see the full word, you'll have to follow the link, as I don't want to post it and end up in trouble... The new Spanish Twitter you speak of has been disappointingly slow with tweets (5 since it started on 27 November).

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Utterly epic idea.

Smithing 85 - 99
I just bought bars directly when I was recently raising my level. I'm not a fan of mining coal... If you do, I would use the Living Rock Caverns. I'm fairly sure that using sc hammers was lasting me 520-530 bars or something like that. (527, maybe?)

How do you tell someone no....?
These ideas don't work if you value common strangers as though they are neighbors. Knowing that I won't maintain a relationship with a one-time acquaintance doesn't mean I should be rude or dishonest, nor do I want to be. To the OP: "Sorry, I'd rather not because I wouldn't be able to keep up; I have too many other commitments." I prefer to use this. It's true (for me) and respectful.

Mint Cakes
Sounds like an expensive piece of junk (practically speaking), as pretty much all rares are... Then again, if you know how to make a gp off of the thing, I suppose they're not totally worthless from a practical perspective. (I don't try to merchant, though, so I don't know.)

Slayer master for 120+ would be nice. Maybe she'll assign some Icefiends from the new castle. A range addition for Slayer would also make me happy, as I need to change that. Then again, it's not all about what I want, is it?

I think you're crazy if you think it'll be a prayerbook. J-Mods have said in Q&A that those kinds of things are better as one-off spells. Also, there already is a "bless crops"-like spell in that "non-combat" spellbook you mentioned (basically its supercompost). You can treat diseased crops from the Lunar book as well. "Incapacitate Trap" might be a new spell they could add, though, I'll give you that. A little more on-topic: I'm loving the new prayers, with almost enough for 92 banked. I plan on using it whilst Slaying things like Waterfiends.

Today...
That is sickeningly lucky! (Unless you're joking.) Myself, got 80 Fishing, did the trawler and now have to raise Summoning for 89, eventually aiming at 93+.

Problems abt training theiving with ardy cloak
That's good to know, Sven! What kind of xp rate can you get doing that?

Question about rc
I considered suggesting that. If you fill up your bank (make sure you don't have any fire and law runes banked, even as a place holder), you can bank your inventory with a single click and go much quicker. You don't hold laws, you craft them o_o May I ask what the [cabbage] you're talking about? You use law runes to teleport...lalala was saying don't have any fire or law runes in your bank so you can just click on that bank all tab, and it'll leave your pouches, fire runes, and law runes in your inventory... Hes saying you don't need the law runes as you will craft them when you go craft at the altar. But idk if you craft all you need to tele, so its probably better to bring them then not. That makes more sense. But yeah, it's not guaranteed that you'll craft enough laws, or even laws period, so carrying them to guarantee the teleport is the wise thing to do. Extremely rare not to craft 2 astrals and a law, and if you don't, use a ring of dueling and barely lose any time. Kersei's got it. This is the way to go. Don't carry laws, just keep a Dueling Ring for the infrequent times you need a tele.

Rune Defender Or Dragonfire Shield?
Defender all the way. I've never owned a DFS, and now that there's a potion to not need one, I think I'll spend my millions on that in the future when demand drops for Herblore levels.
-
Today...
Totally had the music in my head after the first line. Myself: I'll be Fishing for level 80 and doing my usual chores/herb runs.

I would love a spellchecker, but... People who spell poorly, for the most part, don't care. Seems like a lot of people would just turn it off (assuming there is an off option). People who speak in other languages could just be annoyed? (For this reason, I hope we can turn it off.) I don't know that this would have much of an impact on the community, really, so I'm hoping it's not a spellchecker in the end. I think it would make two weeks in a row with very little content added. If we get spellchecker, I'd like to see it just "In Other News..."

Hmm... sure sounds like a twitter hint. "Wild Earth" = the Wilderness? "the cover of skill is virtuous" = max total cape? Virtous also makes me think of Prayer...

A couple quick questions...
Honestly, I would spend the money on chinning that you were thinking of spending on DFS. DFS is only worth it for low defense players who don't have 85 Herblore, in my opinion.

A challenge for those of you who want a challenge.
This thread needs to be resurrected. Great challenges!

Training prayer with alter
Having my own, I personally use dust/law to tele, using my mounted glory to get back to Edge. bladewing, thanks for that tip. I've trained to 83 Prayer without thinking that I could do more than an inventory at once. Ignorant me...

Fishing
I have got a record of 180 Sharks (give or take 10) in an hour. At todays prices that is 271K Honestly i would really like to see Flesh Crawlers make 271k per hour. I never tried them He's F2P. Fleshies probably are better in that instance, at least.

Prayer or Herblore
Honestly, I'm waiting to train Herblore until the Prayer update comes, as I'm expecting a major shift in demand. I've banked bones for Prayer, but I plan to train Herblore when the Prayer update actually happens. Just my two cents.
-
Today...
Daily chores, herb runs, and fishing (level 78 today, going for 80)...
-
Dragon Bones.
I am tormented by this same question... bones for 92 Prayer banked for the last two months or so...

Prayer
Pretty sure they did say they were working on high-level prayers in the Q&A. I'll have to look myself, but I remember reading about it... EDIT: Found this from the Sept. 10 Q&A: Heavenlyevil asks: Which skills do you believe require elite level content the most? Mod Mark: Those skills that offer no progression at the top levels or which fail to offer better XP rates at the top levels. Mod Fetzki: Those skills where people only continue to train because of the number on the skills list and not because of what they unlock (like Prayer and Herblore, which respectively don’t have extra features beyond level 70 or level 82). ALSO THERE: Mod Fetzki: Skill-related updates are much harder to blog about without giving away too many spoilers, too. We can understand completely that you are eager to learn what we have planned for the higher end of the skills, but I can only assure you that there is at least one update aimed at the higher end of a skill in every month until the end of this year. We will also continue to fill out skills next year. That's about all they say, I guess, but to me this would suggest a prayer update before too long. Herblore only has as much said about it here as Prayer. And we all know the overhaul Herby got...

09-Nov-2009 - Champions Challenge Update and Hairstyles
That's a bummer. I was just thinking of doing some superheating for cheap mage/smith xp. The majority of the little fixes make me very happy. Some nice work. I just hope this wasn't the Slayer update we've been waiting for. I know I'm not the only one hoping for a range equivalent of the black mask. :ohnoes: And mage. Oh!--True true!

Where should I plant a Spirit Tree?
It's all in the title and description. I'm able to plant one as soon as I desire, but what's most advantageous? Thanks in advance.
