  1. Wow... that good? I never knew. So how many kills do you manage an hour at your levels? When I had only super sets and 91 range I got around 16ish kills per hour. Went last night with higher range and overloads, was managing around 20 to 22 kills per hour. Maybe I just got lucky, but I noticed that I was killing quite a bit faster. Too bad I'm at least 300ish dry there :( 255 logged and a few random trips. That sounds like almost 3mill/hr, if I'm doing the math right... Looks like I should be getting my range up!

  3. In what situations is the mace useful? Same as you've already mentioned? Thanks for the replies, all.
  4. Void Mage Helm - is worth getting? By this time tomorrow I should have full range and melee void, so it wouldn't be too much work. If you say it is worth it, for what uses?
  5. This is what I did from level 41 to level 85 Mining (all F2P). Don't try it on a full world unless you have 41 Mining and the Rune Pickaxe. Otherwise, do it on a less full world with whatever you've got. Be ready for competition on the full worlds.
  6. This is the ultimate question, isn't it? I also want to know the answer, if anyone has it. Perhaps there is a certain level (Agility-speaking) where it becomes faster to get the XP rewards from BA and then go train then to train constantly, assuming that your level affects the XP reward.
  7. Muggi's is the guide for this: click here
  8. I don't know that this would really provide a new way to train, would it? Most people would make 1-2 sets for themselves and then stop if it used valuable resources. I would greatly be pleased with a Smithing revival, though. I, too, would like to see new untradeable armour, but hopefully from bosses that are difficult to kill and guarantee a reward (Jad, Nomad) rather than ones that are easier and have only a chance of dropping (TDs).
  9. Firefly reference. Anyways, back on-topic. I had 4 Rocktails leftover, and I was stupid in bringing a Unicorn in the first place - I got 140 HP out of it, whilst a Terrorbird would've been 276. I'm 99.9% sure the Extreme potions I had really didn't decide the battle. Someone with 80+ melee stats, 75+ prayer, and 67+ summoning should be able to take Nomad out pretty easily if they're properly equipped. I brought a tortoise full of brews and then also brought a unicorn to summon once the tort was empty. Just beat him with this method. :-)
  10. Probably continue crashing as most people looking to buy dragon armour ogle the platebody over the old rusty chain.
  11. For those who prefer high-speed slaying (I mean sacrificing a bit of gp for speed), Turmoil is glorious on most tasks. Soul Split is helpful in places like Wyverns. For lower level Curses, I would stick to sap defence and berserker (super slow drain rate makes it worth it if you are using expensive pots and can wear Prayer-enhancing armour on). Leech defense can be helpful if you're tanking a task like Iron Dragons or Steels and don't have Turmoil/Soul Split.
  12. I also wonder how many charms 70 zeal yields. I didn't see that on the calculator. Is it a good idea to use zeal for charms, or is it better spent elsewhere (just asking anyone experienced in the mini-game, as I have 0 Soul Wars experience)?
  13. Thanks for the quick answers, guys. New question: Should I be killing the level 88's in the CT or going elsewhere? Things of importance to me are charms, xp (Slayer and combat) and cash (in that order).
  14. First Dagannoth task since acquiring Balmung. Should I use it or stick to the whip + defender combo? Also, do the effects vary by "breed" of Dagannoth? Meaning, is it better on the level 88's in the CT or weaker/stronger Dags? New question below (post 4).
  15. Make sure to use Penguin Points on Herblore, because it's pricey.
  16. Some mention should be made that at Level 93 Thieving, with Ardougne Cloak 3 and Gloves of Silence, you have a 100% success rate on Master Farmers, yielding a wonderful profit and xp amounts.
  17. Do the deflect curses not cause a delay for you? I would find that most unsettling and hard to work with...
  18. Sadly, the models you're referring to were just from last week's graphical re-works on Count Draynor and the Gypsy. And that song's about snow, not race. End of story.
  19. You guys had to go and dash our hopes, didn't you...? Bummer, I thought he was on to something at first.
  20. Hopes back up, now? Seems she was really snowed in, but they weren't today! They were until I went over to Laggy-Impfest '09. I was a little annoyed with that. I would wait until the servers aren't as loaded. On a different note, I sure hope they have another update next week. Let's finish 2009 with a bang! \:D/
  21. [hide]I'd be interested in seeing them. Do put them in hide tags, please. Maybe start a new thread as it's unrelated to this?[/hide] On topic: I wonder if some of the lag (besides being due to NPCs) might have also been affected by particles?

  23. This should show you how the herbs are doing right now. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania I'd stop in everyother day (or 3 at the most)with the fremnick boots and rake the weeds just 5 seconds south of the fairy ring. Go there every other week could to collect on herbs (and raw fish which you sell). It's pretty decent. I wonder if Herblore costs more then prayer now  Yes, Herblore costs quite a bit more...
  24. Mangled bones is the correct name for them. They are a 100% drop from a type of Barbarian in the Cavern, although I forget the name of it. It's well over level 100, but all you need to kill is one.
