I think there are just a lot of people using it to kill metals now... I highly doubt drop rates are different.

Checking your high scores (I have sigs turned off), it looks like you're well on your way! Just keep doing what you're doing. Training on controlled with a whip is good. Zammy Spear for kills requiring crush or stab attacks.

Weapon speed? This looks like the determining factor of whether it's a good weapon for things or not. That and spec, if it has one... Also, does it have a "Destroy" option, allowing you to get it back for free from someone? Or do you have to buy another one? (Can you get another one might be the better question.)

I'm expecting it to be a weapon (based on requirements), probably 2-handed, very high in crush bonus, and slow. Is panic-selling of godswords taking place? I have all requirements completed, yet I probably won't have any time for RuneScape until...Friday??!! :shock:

I think the latter of these allow you to use an altar recharging Prayer. In the long run, I don't know if the extra running to do this makes it as efficient, though. If you've got great boosts for Prayer and high level, I suppose it would be worth it.

I've never heard of this before... I have the following thoughts, though: The tele spot is someone random, though always in a general proximity. You'd either need to do some running to get to where you want to start, anyway (making it not so worth it), or--if you're good at lighting fires and switching lines and don't care about making extra clicks to do continuous firemaking that isn't in a straight line, you could do that. Looking at the options and--yes--the cost, I can't see myself actually wanting to do either of these methods. Maybe you will, though, and more power to you.

I believe it's fastest to Dharok the monkey guards by the altar on Ape Atoll... That's the last I heard, at least. I, too, do all combat training on Slayer task.

What does the Ardy Cloak do then? and hmmm i've heard of that method before, never tried it...... I'm not too fussed about smithing exp atm, I like making cannonballs ^.^...... would the coal trucks be a good method at all either? Whether you want xp or cash (and it sounds like you'd like both), iron is better than coal. Yes, coal is worth more per ore, but iron is obtained so much faster coal doesn't need to be mined. (Get yourself Varrock Armour 1 so that you can get two ores a fair amount of the time instead of just one.) The Ardougne Cloak allows you to teleport as much as you want to the monastery south of Ardougne where there are iron ores. It also allows you to use a Beast of Burden since you don't require the Kyatt to get to Piscatoris. Because of this, Ardougne is clearly the better option. At level 80, switch to concentrated gold in the Living Rock Caverns. You might even give concentrated coal a try before that. Don't bother with Dragon Pickaxe for now. If you're mining iron, you'll already be going at the fastest possible rate with a Rune Pick, and D-Pick will continue to drop slowly over time before you acquire the level where you'll want it. Best of luck with one of my most-loved skills!

You can do 10 workers on Herbs and 5 on Maples to get them, just wait a long time before collecting (a couple weeks at least). Seeds accumulate in fractions, according to Qeltar's study. Keep your favor high and add money if you need to, Just don't collect. Don't forget you can switch to Maples now before collecting as well, so you don't have to start counting from today. (It's how I do it.)

+1. :thumbup: :thumbup: I agree it should be this way. As much as I would like another in-game advantage, this is the fair thing to do. Now, give me a Christmas Cracker and that'll level the field, because I missed out on that in 2001. I'd say anyone there at the time at least was given the opportunity for an extreme advantage. :razz:

While you're at it, make sure to get all Penguin Points each week and put them on Herblore. Also, Manage Thy Kingdom to collect herbs, selling what you're not using and buying more of what you are.

Surprisingly companies don't stock as much XXXLarge clothing due to the lack of a proper market in this size range, hence any stock that they would have runs out quickly. but otherwise: LOLOLOLOLOLOL Runescapers are fat. <_< That is kind of funny that they ran out of that size already. Seriously, though, they should have looked into what that symbol means outside of RuneScape before putting it on a T-shirt for public use... There are so many wrong ways to take it, and the words "Pure Strength" do not help the message communicate well to a RuneScape-ignorant public.

I believe you do need a bigger test. Also, I think the last line that I've pasted from your OP is an explanation for why the Zammy Spear came out slower in your test--eating. Most people meleeing those dragons use Protect Melee or Deflect Melee (faster kills yet). If you switch to these methods and stop using the tanking method, I have a hunch that Zammy Spear will kick your previous numbers in the pants. 88 Summoning and/or Soul Split are other alternatives to eating leading to ZS winning the day, I think. Maybe you already used a Unicorn, since you have 88? What was the rest of your set-up, if I may ask? Did you use Prayers at all? Thank you for the testing you're doing by the way, as I think this will benefit numerous others (myself included). I wish I could test this myself, but I don't have the Herblore level at this time.

In a way, I believe the new ferocious ring favors range a bit as you can throw knives faster than you can flip a whip. I, too, hope for a range/mage equivalent of the Black Mask someday, all the better if it can be combined with other equipment like the Slayer Helm.

This, plus TzHaar is a good assignment if you can make Lava Titan pouches.

What he said... Unless you can get 89 Summoning faster, but I'm guessing the quest is the way to go.

Not if you bank raw sharks with the new fairy ring. Then again, ice goddess might not have either of these to use, in which case I suggest the best beast of burden at her disposal. In general, the Bunyip is less reliable for healing when you get hit a lot in a bad stroke of luck.

I think they may still be doable at your level (80+ stats would make a noticeable difference for you, though). If you do them, make sure to get the fairy ring in the Ancient Cavern working so you can use that (assuming you've done the quest). This makes banking trips rather fast. If you don't have a Bunyip (I'm guessing you don't), try using a terrorbird, or at least a bull ant and bring apple pies to stay longer (plan on eating a bite after nearly each kill). Keep praying range and use super pots. In the end, it will be worth it. EDIT: Invest in a Zammy Spear as well. Jagex keeps adding more and more weak-to-stab and weak-to-crush creatures, it seems. You can always sell it later.

I noticed that too, but they are the normal levels in the dungeon I checked. That's weird. There aren't even a few at the new level?

I'm interested in this as well. And whether the ring is a somewhat frequent or very rare drop... If there were a bank there as well, it would be a Slayer's paradise (probably making the skill too easy, though). Only attacking when on task = FTW!!!! EDIT: Does your task have to come from her to slay in her dungeon, or do you simply have to have a task that has creatures in her dungeon?

She is spying on high level monsters, not players. She is spying on both monsters and players. The swedish hint is the same as the english btw. What is the lowest level Slayer she has spied? And the lowest level Slayer creature (I'm speaking of level to kill it)? Interesting... sure sounds like a guild to me! *crosses fingers* I figured the Swedish hint was pretty much the exact same. I don't think other languages are released at this time.

just a note: you cant report somone for botting just because they didnt answer back, many people have public off while training Even if a person's public chat is off, they can still see the public chat of J-mods or P-mods. This won't help in all cases, but a few.
