And weird :anxious: ). And I've just found out my Dad has another family and yes I have another brother and sister, which has resulted in me movin with my mom to a flat and since she's just collapsed with depression. In the process I've had to give up my dog which was raised from birth and I lost my job because I moved too far away :( Currently ive got a new job at a local SPAR which is awesome :D

so sorry people had to re-vamp my avatar from this to this :-# The first was just way too simple for my liking but it worked well at the time. looks much more like me :) the update I did looked more like me but very swollen eyed and child-like (weak). defined the eyebrows, widened the shoulders, fixed my neck and most of the shading lol..

I wouldn't ever feel right about selling avatars or signatures, its just a picture that spices up your user lol, even when you could sell em I didn't. Well Im gonna try do as much as my mind can take and my interest will probably flicker away onto something else very soon so please don't message me again saying, you still owe me an avatar/sig. no no no :shame: you requested it, whether I do it or not is up to me :twisted: sadly which ones I do is favouritism :thumbsup:

well I can only really work when I've got the time aside to start and finish it, don't worry I never ignore people I just work in my own time and Im used to working on my own accord also, trust me you should like the result. 12 people have requested avatars :cry: I don't have to them all do I?

With this I don't suggest any highlights, or anything that will shape the character.. Just concentrate on making the character as smooth as possible.. AAing is your friend : I did shadow slightly to suggest that the top was over the trousers and a bit on his chin and on hands but it really isn't necissery for what you're trying to do. here's it zoomed in for the lazy.. DH showed how to in his tutorial, I learnt it by teaching myself so I can't be that hard to pick up.. :lol:

looking good, I think it's vital to make it look flat as it's supposed to be a 'paper' world but yeah I would use more vibrant colouring maybe..

Glad you're ok. My brother witnessed a young woman commit suicide at a railway track his first time driving his car after passing his test, he was shook up for weeks because just before she jumped in front of the train she looked over at him and looked dead in his eyes and smiled. He's driving again now but something just affected his confidence behind the wheel. May not be at all similar but I think it's terrible how things can affect your driving, keep it easy dude don't do any long drives if you're feeling shook up..

I'd understand if you were trying to make a simple game, like these java internet games you see, but im getting the impression that this is a full storyline game with a cast of characters, large range of levels and well.. much more complex than what I'd expect.. I would personally advice to start small with making games, concentrate on getting the graphics right, make a simple yet addictive game.. Otherwise this is just gonna be a disaster.. :| If you've got the programs ready to program a design a game It doesn't cost anything to make and design it, I think it's the whole producing it ready for sale. I've got all the programs I'd ever need to make an RPG so all I can think of that'd cost would be maybe making a website and producing copies ready for selling. oh and probably offtopic but, it's to do with this. Someone has actually sucessfully made a game recently on his own because he couldn't get a team together, I think it's pretty inpirational.. http://www.qwak.co.uk/ Well he's an inspiration to me, id love to see him make back the money he invested into making this. You see this sort of game would be much funner and its really original, all it takes is designing the character, a range of monsters, items and a set of level tiles + background and you can make whatever level you want and however many levels you want.

I'd love to see what you've got so far, oh and I really wouldn't ask for random concept art from people (like what pjb posted), you'd want a fitted style most likely done by one or two artist with the same level of talent which is made percifically for the game.
