  1. your character's fat lol :-k
  2. why is it similar to something you've done before or does it just look like something a stalker would draw? a quick colouring
  3. yeah it was just an accident.. thanks for the comments everyone.
  4. sorry but rofl... just some tourist who loves faces.. :-k :-k
  5. ohh a choc ice (short for choclate coated icecream).. sorry im from england, Klondike just sounds like a made up name.. anyone know where that originated from? cus my research tells me thats the original name from wenst it was invented.. After researching it I looked back and lol'ed. not seen any adverts but I can see how this is funny.

He said he got it for free, but if people think it looks good he might give his mate 200k.. I don't like it because of the over use of effects, bevelling everywhere glows, texturing.. it just isn't needed. If you picture the image without the stuff everywhere, and just see the linework you'll notice it's not too bad.. not good but the idea is ok.. standing at the bottom of a volcanoe with lava flowing behind. The character has serious issues but I really think this was in desperate need of critisism throughout the process of the sig.. It looks like whoever made it went and made it without any input to what would look better, what he needs to improve on, how he should go about shading it.. The animation lets this down, the text camoflauges (sp?) into the background and animating something that you can hardly see just wastes size.. keep your money lmaowned, but tell your mate to keep trying and not to but so much into something, simplify how he goes about colouring his images..
  7. I don't get it, whats a kondike bar?
  8. few seconds over 2 minutes.. its a.. pot noodle lol, just cus that was on my pc desk. hard with just 2 colours lol.
  9. yeah the only downside of doing this is it forces you to work more on details and you kinda get carried away doing one small area, Random's Lotr sig was like 500x250 so it's no suprise he got too overwhelmed.. doing a small signature lets you finish it easier but it can be frustrating working on tiny characters.. It's no way my idea though, im not sure it even helps in most circumstances, it just makes it easier to build a complicated layout effectively.. np t_hrowie_s, edit looks good, just keep tweaking it until you're happy with it.
  10. I think its a good idea to stick to a theme maybe.. on pixelopolis did something similar but with no real time restrictions..
  11. very nice but do take your time, blocking things out was something I saw from what Random used to do, it allows you to work on a section at a time.. heres some other examples of mine if you need help. some very much unfinished.. http://img424.imageshack.us/img424/2851/01ks6.png http://img424.imageshack.us/img424/3844/02dg6.png http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/4894/03bh1.png http://img433.imageshack.us/img433/3383/04av0.png
  12. yeah proportions will be off at this point as it was only roughly planned out, but as I come to work on on it more and more I'll definately work out structures for each of the characters, use references for the women as the original figures were honestly just drawn as you see em, no touching up with proportions yet.. I do think the perspective in the room is fine, its just the outside that seems to causing all the problems, I don't think the window should be so big either.. Just minor things go wrong in plans, like the odd shaped table, don't choo all worry Im very reluctant to posting something unless Im sure I was happy.. The people in the chair are really duplicates of those sitting in the other signature, I liked their chilled positions so I figured why loose em? I've just repositioned them, and im going to work on em a lot until im happy with the way they look.. on the record I hate their legs atm. :x The way I textured the coins in the first one was very spontaniously and experimental, so hopefully this time I'll be able to push that further and make it look more like a room filled with coins. : .. Still any ideas are welcome. thanks for the honest comments, it helps much more than praise, I've haven't really done anything yet.. p.s I've moved house with my mom since my parents split up so most of my time is spent in a flat with no internet atm, in case you're wondering why I suddenly don't post for a day or two..
  13. very nice work, out of your pixels I prefer your cartoony ones, because they're much more imaginative and generally easier to see.. but I think you need to work on perspective, cus just adding a bit more truth to what you would actually see in rl would really improve your work. Like your pirate sig is really good.. my advice would be to look at sceneries on the web to get ideas on what to add to your work to improve. adding a touch of reality can sometimes make a cartoony image esthetically better.. And it looks much more professional..
  14. the axe is fine, he's thinking realistically.. Very professional looking lazycat, you should think of becoming an illustrator, as working this quickly would be perfect for in the working world.. I have no qualms you obviously just wanted to show us your work, on a scale of 1-10 I'd say .. amazing. cheers.. oh and do you happen to have a website?
  15. anyone remember this? im re-doing it.. I tend to block sigs out like this because its hard to get any detail into the image with black lines surrounding everything.. I've just blocked out the general shapes and layout, I'll try keep the same style, so nothing too realistic or anything over cartoony.. any ideas would be great.. keeping in mind that I still, do not play runescape.. so lay off the jargen #-o .. oh and the sword on the right of the image is gonna be the one seen in the sig  , http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/9334/finallk5.png I always thought it was a great idea to make a cool sword that unleashes hell on those around you.. : hopefully I'll get a lot of this done before im back in college on the 8th, working on it section by section, and posting for ideas.. stay tunes folks.
  16. thanks, im making a new sig..
  17. I agree, not gonna discuss anything but I do agree.
  18. ah well I'd give it a =D>
  19. very creative, plus a very hard thing to make out of clay, I made a character outa modelling clay once with a wire center, it was amazin for the first 2 days, it just went really hard and snapped when I tried to move it. But yeah I hope you still had fun makin this, I was stupidly decided to make my own wires out of tiny paper-covered wires you get with sandwich bags, had to strip em off and bundle em together.. :wall: , can't tell ya how much my fingers ached.. : good stuff :
