  1. As far as I'm concerned, what we have is what we get. You really think Jagex would expand F2P dungeoneering? WHEN f2p doesn't get any more levels, and 35 prestige is the max, do you think Jagex will wise up to the fact that its super-nixed experience? I hope we get more levels. I hope we get full experience back. But it seems unlikely.
  2. Just read through the Q&A, extremely disappointed with the questions they decided to answer. I wanted to know how they failed so hard when allowing F2Pers to gain xp in members skills, or double and triple penalizing players for being F2P - Not allowing them to do bonus rooms because they're for members only, having members rooms that are 100+ requirement when we can't make potions to boost ourselves, and chopping the XP we receive in half at the end. Their biggest mistake might have been telling us what they've done.
  3. I've got one worse for you - if you die, and do the entire map (small), it said: 100 + 10 + 13 - 11 = 110%
  4. My mistake, thought you could bind 2 ammo. Turns out you can't  Whatever, doesn't matter. You get enough rune ess at the start and enough GP in the dungeon to make 1000s of runes.
  5. I just mage the bulwark beast. Most bosses are easier when you use mage / range. Also, gatestone is a must. I always make enough runes for 10 gatestone teles. If you have to run through more than 3 rooms to get to your destination, you've probably done something wrong. I haven't done a large map yet, but I'm figuring it will be the best experience (especially if everyone knows what they're doing). Gah I hate this capped experience. I also blame Jagex for the faulty mechanics of the game. <_<
  6. If you're missing a thread from feedback, check compliments. That's where I found my thread, that may be where you find yours.
  7. I agree. My thread was also deleted, which is complete crap. I don't think I'll ever visit the RSOF again. Less spam, more formatting and control, better community, better mods on TIF. Thanks TIF!
  8. I appreciate that the new skill provides a distraction while training combat. Semi-afking at flesh crawlers or spiders has never been enjoyable. I also appreciate the 200+ prayer experience you can get from exorcising dark spirits. Oh, and 50 dungeoneering is worth it for the second set of items. I've bound a fractite maul, a (tier 5) longbow, 125 fractite arrows, and 125 law runes.
  9. I guess we can now see who spams up the RSOF more - 1000+ F2Pers, 0-1400 Members, 1400-1800 Members, or 1800+ Members. I'd like to bet its not anyone with 1000+ in stats...
  10. My thread ranting about gop was deleted... it had 40+ supporters. I'm guessing this makes it easier for Jagex to sort through and ignore F2P. Good fight, jagex.
  11. Well, you don't have to worry about sun anymore. You need to worry about oracle. :D
  12. Here's a hint: Always duo, in a medium sized dungeon. With 21 prestige, and on level 18, I got 5.3k experience. Previously, on level 21 with 20 prestige, I got 2k experience (small, solo). Also, when replaying level 1, with 21 prestige this morning, I got 900 experience - super capped.
  13. If more than one person knows, it isn't a secret. And this will be a really big problem.
  14. I can understand your presumption, considering my character name at the side, but still an assumption it is. In my previous mentioned posts I've mentioned that it's on my free-to-play character. This character is entirely free to play and has never had members. ;) As has already been stated, there are numerous reports of F2P players getting members-based doors, so it's not just my ranting! :P I've had Liquid doors that I'm presuming require Herblore, although didn't specify a base-herblore level so perhaps that was wrong. I have however had an Agility door that required 68 Agility. What I would probably mention is that Jagex do state that up to Level 4 is the maximum complexity for F2P, we can do Level 6 but that then yields members-based skills in places. I think the minimum complexity without having members content yet having the full dungeoneering experience would probably be complexity 4 - only including farming and hunting, yet still requiring everything else which is Free-to-play. This does unfortunately still yield a negative experience bonus for F2P, so personally I'm sticking to complexity 6 as the number of members-based skill doors I come across isn't that huge, not impacting experience in that many occurrences. Losing a potential +13% bonus to unlocking all rooms does not trump the -35% penalty you get from level 4 complexity. However, I may have to reconsider this position when my prestige is capped to ~50% when I can't unlock all the rooms...
  15. I believe that the experience gained in this skill is very much linear and not exponential, where the total xp for a level is very exponential. This will be problematic when XP caps out... more than 30k / hour would mean the skill isn't terrible for xp, less means its slow (from a F2P perspective... 50k for members?)
  16. Would make for easy macroing. There's not even many steps involved, and as a bonus, no one can see you. Also, I have yet to get a random underneath the surface. Cheaters 1, Jagex 0.
  17. I hope all of you realize that this information is used to recover lost accounts.
  18. I thought Dungeoneering was meant as an original way to train other skills all at once. By the way - it still takes too long crafting combat runes, with or without XP.
  19. Seems like they made this P2P skill a F2P skill at the very end of development... and didn't originally design with F2P in mind. GF Jagex, you fail.
  20. F2Pers get about 20k xp / hour when training RC on the outside... inside this *matched* the rate, except for the fact that you could only do it for 10 minutes at a time, after 30 minutes of raiding. I wish they'd let you craft it all at once...
  21. I've gained about 6-7k runecrafting experience exclusively from Dungeoneering. When the skill was released, the XP was originally 1/10th what the outside world gives. This was fine with me, it felt like a good balance between experience and time - training RC outside of Dungeoneering was faster. Then, they messed something up and gave massive XP, so we got rollbacks. Now RC gives 1/50th the experience. That makes it too slow to craft runes for any normal purpose. Jagex, please stop messing with experience. The appropriate way to balance experience / hour is to : 1. Change the timing. Make crafting runes slower OR 2. Change the cost of Ess. Make crafting runes more expensive OR 3. Cap amounts of a certain rune crated in a certain time period. You don't need 1000 deaths or blood runes for one dungeon. Now that you've super nerfed it, it would be appropriate to make all runecrafting instant. By that, I mean craft 100+ ess at once. Quit changing the XP we get!!!!
  22. No, its to keep the EXP gained in the skill UP without being too repetitive.
  23. Almost better than the OP is the idiot F2Per giving it a bump... BUMP
  24. That's stupid... they should just increase the price of essence. Unless they make it so that you craft all ess at once, then I'd be OK with it. It takes 10 minutes to craft 1k ess into deaths...
  25. Wonder if they might've been testing a bit of exponential decay? And they started too close to zero
