  1. RC gives 1/10th the xp of normal... so its pretty slow. However, it IS AFKable, so I like it a lot!
  2. I was 2071st to 30 dungeoneering.... and I didn't stay up all night! :P Seems like the key (for a F2P player at least) is to bind a fractite weapon... my prefered is the maul, and then wear whatever armour is dropped. Ignore anything that say "crab", pick up all gp (I buried bones too). Before the last boss, I like to turn my GPs into death runes... takes about 3-5 minutes to craft 1k death runes, free 1k rc xp. If you can't attack it, and its shooting icicles at you, run away!
  3. Its only trolling because you've posted the same thing 30 times in a row. And dungeoneering because no one would come up with that name - anyone could come up with "raiding", "instancing", etc. Oh, and this miniskill is pretty much "dungeon assualt" for runescape, except its game-generated and not player-generated.
  4. I've got the long term goal of getting 99 in every F2P skill. If I had to get 120 (with 104M XP), I'd quit before I got to level 100. The experience rates are too slow, and I actually have a life.
  5. Hope you're not serious, I lol'd a little.
  6. What level are you in Dungeoneering? :wall: :wall: :wall:
  7. I crafted death runes today. And nats. And laws. I crafted them one at a time.... booo
  8. I'm guessing it's probably the slowest skill... After completing one dungeon my Dungeoneering level only rose up to 2... and that took like 5 minutes. <_< Same here, wondering how long it stays like that (thinks of runecrafting).
  9. Like a ding-dong? *fishes around in cupboard* Nope... I'm all out. Just wondering... how quickly do you level this skill? Anyone have an idea of max xp / hour?
  10. Next time you look to complain about something, hold your fingers back. Or give a "compliment sandwich" - A good thing about Jagex, the thing you actually don't like, and another good thing.
  11. I woke up this morning... went to sell a few things on GE before work... and was like OMFG NEW SKILL. played a couple levels. Did you know that F2P is able to craft deaths, nats, and laws in this new miniskill? Runecrafting is crazy slow tho- you can only do 1 at a time.
  12. At least we're first on the gold list? I'm glad tip.it isn't censored in runescape like all the other .com's...
  13. I'd like to see something similar to this idea, more ways to make money in F2P. The worst thing that could happen would be people bot these to get money, but botting has always been a problem, that was never exclusive to F2P (green dragon botters, anyone?) The neutral thing to happen would be that F2Pers just ignore these new ways to make money, which would mean a little effort from Jagex wasted. The best thing that could happen is that F2Pers actually utilize these methods to make money.
  14. Yeah, I remember that part, but I would assume other players roaming around looking for players to fight, so I just refer them as rev as well They do, except the hobgoblins are aggressive to everyone, making it near impossible to kill (or be killed) there. The closest I ever got to killing someone there was by farcasting... they didn't have any food and were able to get out of range and log out.
  15. For a week I was exclusively BHing. I would mine adamantite in the hobgoblin mine, then kill hobgoblins until I had 2-3 limps. I could do this 3-5 times before getting a target. I'm about 70% successful in killing targets, and about 60% successful in killing non-targets. I clocked the rewards to be about 400k-600k an hour... the key is that you can't die. You also use up resources (dying/food/potions) at a rate of 100-200k / hour.
  16. I'd also appreciate a bury-x feature. My wrists hurt. Now that would defeated the purpose of Prayer being one of the hardest skill in F2P. Its kind of same thing saying firemaking X. Not really, because firemaking requires you to move. Also, prayer is crazy slow, and crazy expensive. There's no reason it should make you click so much. Also, firemaking gives a TON of experience for SUPER CHEAP.
  17. But it came with the hardware!@#@!!$!@#$@# Didn't realize it provided such a neat interface to do that.
  18. I'd also appreciate a bury-x feature. My wrists hurt.
  19. Maybe you could flex your rights as a consumer, and boycott Jagex for a few months? Get enough people leaving, and they'll start listening.
  20. That would make sense, actually. But just in the interest of testing it, I deleted all of my cookies and deleted the Jagex cache and the client still found the account. Is there another kind of cookie I don't know about? I'll admit I'm not entirely knowledgeable on the subject. Wow, I logged in again and got a different username. I don't know. Maybe each IP only has one demo account at a time. EDIT: peronix beat me to it. Same minute, too. Its probably stored in the .jagex_cache_32 folder on your hard drive.
  21. If jagex implemented this system, or one similar to it, I would quit. Ever consider the reason why RuneScape is so large is because its different than Eve, WoW, or all the other MMORPGs. Not necessarily the content, but the business model.
  22. I mine Adamantite in bounty hunter worlds to get my EP up. After I mine 8 adamantite ore (worth 1.2k each), I kill hobgoblins until I get 2-4 limpwurt roots (2-3k each). I walk to the bank near the volcano, and I walk back (running when attacked by monsters). I only kill my targets, unless my EP is above 50 after killing one. Even with my deaths, and supplies factored in, I've made on average 200k gp per hour (When you kill your target in bounty hunter, they usually drop between 300k-500k worth of items. When I die in bounty hunter, I only drop 120k worth of items. Eating a full inventory of swordfish and pizzas costs about 10k). If my EP is above 50 and my meter is at zero, I spend time killing other people until my EP is below 50. They usually drop about 100k-200k in items, and its much riskier (these guys are career PKers, targets are usually poor sobs). I'll also merchant on the Grand Exchange. There really is no "GP/hour", it usually takes 4-10 days to complete one. I'll invest 10-20m in one item, and then sell it for 5-10% higher. So 1m GP in 7 days is 6k / hr :P
  23. Play the Great Orb Project until you have 1 million runecrafting tokens.
  24. :twss: I like to grab the GP's that spawn in the wilderness
