Fist of Guthix
Then kill them? Lemme rephrase what he said. Act I: squareroot2, the Hunter - squareroot2 dominates his prey in a matter of seconds. Act II: squareroot2, the Hunted - squareroot2's foe, humiliated by the inglorious defeat, plans revenge on his nemesis by refusing to kill him and end the match. squareroot2 is left gathering tokens in the center for several minutes, with little extra reward. So when you know you've beat him, stand in a house and kill yourself?

What's With This Crash?
Noticed rune 2h's and rune scimitars have started their descent; which was inconvenient for me because I had 270 rune 2h's in my bank. Taking a loss of ~500k on the chin. Surely f2p stuffs would be isolated from members updates? I also figure that Americans would keep playing right up until school started.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Generally speaking I usually no arm in BH, and go full arm in PVP. If I don't want to risk it I won't wear it; no arms are too random anyway. I'm not completely opposed to the idea of no arms, but only if I'm risking less than 150k. Also in PVP worlds people are 5-10x more likely to jump you after a fight. EDIT: Anyone else notice R2H and scims tanking in price?

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Was in BH and PVP worlds for about 2 hours.... didn't die, but didn't kill anyone. Was getting a bit frustrated; I had the best weapons in F2P and yet no one was falling. The 100% ep was starring me in the face, letting me know exactly how badly I failed. Finally was hanging around the second floor altar in varrock, when a couple of punks started to taunt me because I wouldn't no arm them. They were like, "no arm? i'm risking 700k!" Of course, a fully charged gravite 2h, rapier, rune gauntlets and berserker shield are worth 80k dungeoneering tokens spent, plus another 1.6m to charge... Not to mention the time and effort put forth (I'm rambling, I know). The started taunting my stats, and I admit they got under my skin. When they finally told me to start training on cows, I attacked the one with a zamorak skirt. 101 damage later (87 hp and 1 swordfish), I killed him. GF cow. Drop was decent too, rune berserker 0, zammy skirt. 486k total.

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Yesterday I leveled strength to 96 and runecrafting to 78. Goals were to get 99 str, 85 mining, and 80 in every non combat skill by the end of the year, doubt it will happen unless some serious no lifing ensues. I don't think I'll have to GP to buy 80 prayer either...

Runescape Insurance!!!
There's no place for insurance in runescape. Once people know they have insurance, they're more subject to risky behavior. Someone who never PVP'd before might take out a policy on a GS, and then go try pking for the first time ever. In this scenario, they were low risk to begin with (never PKed), but once they decided to PK they were ultra-high risk (inexperienced).

The F2P General Discussion Thread
But we are going to get something. And I can't wait to see what. Hell, I honestly doubt we're going to get that level 166 dragon but that doesn't stop speculating and hoping. It'd be straight out stupid if they made a Woodcutting dungeon in Edgeville. Well, that will stop Wc bots anyway, because it's almost impossible to bot dungeoneering. There's a bot for everything else, and the concepts involved in dungeoneering aren't groundbreaking. Some of the bonus rooms already have bots (maze, follow the leader), and others wouldn't be too difficult to figure out. Couple that with the fact that (nearly) all monsters in there are aggressive, and you can have five "teammates" working at once, I'd say its very possible to bot it. Just give it enough time and they'll have an AI good enough.

Return to drawball?
Right now I'm writing a macro (in java) to be able to effectively color out any portion of the ball. If it gets advanced enough I'll let you guys have it to play around with (source and all). If nothing else, I'll have indexed all available colors to draw with, and we'll be able to use that information to select colors easier. One problem I've identified with this is the flash app will probably scale differently based on the display size. If so, I'll have to let you be able to index the colors yourself. Shouldn't be too bad, I've also got my roommate's computer to work with and a "dummy" to test it on

Return to drawball?
I started that O of the most recent "OT".... except I meant it to be the left testicle of awesomeness. Thanks for ruining my work. :^_^: btw, poland is ftw.

Return to drawball?
This internet is serious business. The most important thing in making a visible logo is not controlling the entire area, its controlling most of the area. For example, you can make out the word "Poland" from the main screen, even though the entire word was composed of 2000% ink. Notice if you zoom in, its about four lines in parallel. Contrast and overall area are key... not blacking everything out.

Return to drawball?
This sort of reminds me of lunchtimers.com ... except you're limited. A strategy I found for that site was that you should plan exactly what you want to do, then do it in bits and pieces. That way, when you're ready to do something "naughty", or completely epic, you can get about three fourths the message out without anyone realizing what you're doing, but when the last few letters fall into place

Return to drawball?

The exact time of YOUR death...
A woman falls asleep into a deep dream. In her dream, an angel appears, and tells her that she has 44 years, 44 weeks, 44 hours and 44 minutes left to live. Convinced that her encounter was real, and excited by her long life, she goes to the doctor and receives plastic surgery. She comes out of surgery looking absolutely stunning, has an amazing recovery. A year later, she walks across the street to get a coffee and gets hit by a bus. She goes to heaven and meets God. A little upset, she says, "I thought I had 44 more years left to live!" God takes a real hard look at her, pauses, and says, "Oops, you're right, you did. I just didn't recognize you. "

Obama Administration Announces Massive Piracy Crackdown
I lol'd pretty hard at downloading a car... The only reason US lawmakers are turning their attention to this is because the RIAA is willing to shell out large sums of money to help political campaigns; We were your friend, won't you be ours? The part that scares me is the developing software part. I think I'll have to form my own nation?

Does the internet belong to the US?
The president didn't even introduce the bill - a senator did. AFAIK the president didn't even endorse it. As well, any attempt by the president to "shut off" the internet would be met by instant outrage. The bill is essentially useless, as even if it passed, there seems to be an extremely marginal scenario where the president could use it without being met by domestic and world-wide protesting, etc. To the best of my knowledge, no president in the history of America has ever introduced a bill to the Congress while in office. It doesn't matter if he supports the bill; if its signed into law it makes the executive branch a bit more powerful. Doesn't matter if the current administration never uses it; it'll be there for every idiot in the future.
