  1. Interesting, I'll try it. EDIT: Neat. :D
  2. I give you the perfect example of irony.
  3. To all those having problems peeing and playing Runescape, you should invest in a laptop, a wireless router, and play on the toilet. Problem solved.
  4. It's considered irrelevant if the price of everything drops. The ratio of gp:items would stay the same, hence the drop in prices would be like no change at all. You tell other that they have an IQ at room temperature, when you're only looking at one side of a bigger picture. not everything would drop. Regardless, the fact that more inventory slots are available would appeal to the average skiller. Potions become cheaper, fishers fish more lowering the price, ect. Both of these are common items found in GWD. Not to mention, ores would drop, bars, and uncommon monster drops. It's not the inventory items themselves dropping item's prices, it's the appeal that the slots make to other people. In reference to your statement, many items would drop because of this appeal. As you said, most items would drop, the items that don't would be considered almost negligible to the market. I'm somewhat confused by the contradictory statements, could you elaborate, please? How are those statements contradictory? Almost everything would drop and not everything would drop. Key word: Almost. I see no contradiction. Also, with the added inventory spots more items could be carried on trips EX potions etc Sorry then, I just thought it would be understood that when I said "all" I didn't mean it in the literal sense. I don't see your point against the added inventory space. more potions are carried, yes, but they're cheaper, so you're getting more for your money. However, you can't get as much money as quickly, essentially meaning that there was no change at all, since the ratio stayed the same.

  7. I am not sure how long it takes to get 99 smithing but you could manage to get 4-5 hammers an hour before the update, not sure how it is now with the update though No, you couldn't. You need to play 1 game to get a new tool, no matter what you score. So, AT ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM you could get 3 hammers an hour. But, seeing as games don't start straight away, you about 2.7 tools per hour. Fact checks plz. How about you check your own facts please. Before the updates you could get millions of points per game, it was extremely easy to get over seventy tools per game. No, you could not. Like he said, you could only buy one tool per game regardless of how many points you got. Each game lasted 20 minutes, that's 3 an hour. Subtract the time it takes to get into a game, and it's about ~2.7. Gratz on 99 smithing. 10/10 for sure. :P
  8. Same here. He offered valid help and a suggestion to get into the party should the OP really want to.
  9. Sorry, I didn't look past the first page, forgive me. No, they're are not. Far less efficient than steam runes because they take longer to get to, regardless of price or exp.
  10. Slower by how much? Probably a lot slower since the earth/water altars are farther from a teleport. Plus earth or water runes cost more than fires. To add to that, I did tiaras with steam runes in pouches, I could get up to 50K an hour, losing 800k an hour along side it. This was last year though.

Today we got a foot of snow. Like, no joke.
  12. Because he chooses to add discussion in a grammatically correct manner?
  13. Almost 51% of the population doesn't, lol.

Then don't lie to your children. I don't think I will, unless my future-husband wanted to. I'd hate to have all the credit (of buying presents) go to some fat guy who doesn't exist. Plus, it shatters them when they find out that Santa's not real. I believe in Santa Claus, and I'm fourteen years old. I know the history of St. Nicholas, I know he's dead, but I believe Santa is just a coat-wearing spirit of Christmas. Who says it's lying? Are you never going to tell your children bedtime stories, for fear that they'll be traumatized if they never sell a cow for magical beans? If your four-year old daughter asks where babies come from, are you going to go into excruciating detail or just tell her a stork brought it? Lies aren't evil. The fairy tale analogy is poor. There's a difference between stories, and legends which you tell as truth. It's not the telling of the story I disagree with, but things like "Be good or Santa Claus won't come this year!". Even if you don't say that, the message is still there with Santa's naughty and nice list. It's cheap and lazy parenting. Same goes for the stork story, it's just a diversion to make things less uncomfortable for the parent. If you don't want your five year old knowing about the mechanics of sex then tell her that. A child that young isn't going to care about your reasoning and will demand to know. Lying is just easier. Chances are, they aren't going to care or remember when their more mature anyways.
  16. I would have done the same thing, because he might have not graded it late. I'd say you do, if he doesn't grade it.
  17. They put themselves in that situation. It's not like a computer, where they can just come out with something new and exciting every two years that makes people buy a new one. I suppose they could, but the average American isn't going to buy a new car unless it becomes inefficient to have an older model. This is seemingly the biggest problem with cars, is that they cost to much, thus limiting the market. But then, auto industries could work to produce that we want to see, not something the gas market wants to see (eg: 20mpg cars).
  18. I thought it was banned in most states. I remember in our county in Texas it was. We just called it "Fun Ball" and got away with it.
  19. Regardless, that's not really going faster than light, you're merely beating it to the point by taking a shorter distance. When we say the speed of light, usually it refers to c, the speed of light in a vacuum.
  20. If Norton does the job, then it's fine. How do you know Norton isn't that great anyway? Personal experiences, or what you heard? When I used to have Norton (Swapped because it was cheaper if we were on one Anti Virus), it worked to perfection. ~Ouchy Both. Norton has horrible detection rate, and it consumes a lot of resources.

Lying is in our nature, of course I think it's ok. Though like anything in life, moderation is key. Saying that we shouldn't lie is, I believe, a joke.
  22. I think you're missing my point. And honestly, I don't see how it's not ok. I'm not saying the act of naming his child Adolf Hitler was morally justified, though obviously I'm not the person that named him. My point was that we shouldn't use bias to deny him anything. The cake was a stupid incident in probably a long long life of them. That said, it's not anyone's fault but the other persons. We'll probably hear the same news again when he tries to work at McDonalds in a few years. It's only a name.
