We've gone over this question countless times on TIF. The overwhelming response is no. Other than a few people who play RS full-time, Runescape is pretty much solely a 'time filler' that people play when they're bored or have nothing else to do. While working IRL for minimum wage would be a lot more productive, there aren't many jobs that you can do in the times that a lot of people play RS (ie: a little before school, during breaks, late night, etc). Theoretically. But that doesn't mean the TIME spent couldn't have been used to gain skills that would make you more marketable in the future, thus increasing potential money from an employer. The "potential" money doesn't have to be earned at the same time as the time already spent on RS. For example, learn Arabic, and you become a lot more marketable to intelligence agencies in the U.S. Etc etc. There is still a corollary.

It would reward good preparation and having a balance of stats or friends to cover your weakness instead of being a one man army. As it is now the triangle is a big rock paper scissors game, with every playing being rock paper and scissors at the same time, it's only a matter of how fast you can change your open hand into a fist. I don't think that's how Jagex intended it to be considering they want to make combat less about flying through menus as fast as possible. They do it in WOW for balance.

The only problem with that is that it would require you 10x the amount of exp required for 99. So? Only disadvantage I see (which would/could be major) is pissing people off who are happy at being lvl 99. They would have a lot more room to make bosses/gear/endgame things. ETC ETC ETC. Give capes at 99 too, as well as 120 like DG. But I think its more likely that range/mage will give extra combat levels like str/att/def already do.

Range+mage will have the same weight as attack/str/def? So 4 levels=1 combat level so higher than 138 max combat.

I hope not 120 honestly...Maybe they are bumping the max level to an even 100? Or maybe they are considering Slayer as a combat skill? They might just be rebalancing combat level calculation without adding any skills or increasing level caps, although something new would be cool. Or the relevel raisies combat level, so you can be maxed melee+prayer+ summon w/o being max combat. That'd be neat.

No. You earned 3M. WAT Rares went up for a number of reasons. 1.) No new items are coming in. 2.) players get banned who have them (stakers who RWT and get caught, scammers who steal them and get banned) 3.) people quit. 4.) people lose or destroy them. The fish mask will start going up in price once it is actually discontinued. For now, it is still dropping. Plus we have no clue how rare the mask really is, and how many will come into the game. After the month is up, who knows, they may be so common that they never really become valuable. I mean, a santa is a rare, and what, its worth 80m?

Multi-logging rule is stupid. Also giving out websites, vent/skype info, names, etc is all against the rules and thereby TOS too. Guess everyone who did that should be banned huh.

However, when it comes to their own investigation tools, it's like watching a freshman Java programmer struggle creating an array. This is pretty embarrassing for their QA team.
