  1. Lol, Weird Al has always had a healthy attitude. He knows it can't be totally stopped, people like him so out of spite they will actually buy his records because he's that awesome. He sells more than some pop artists and he makes only comedy songs.
  2. I don't get it, how are you somebody to judge another person by their age? If the first pokemon game came out 6 to 7 years ago and you last played when you were six, you're now about 12. That's not exactly "old". Anyways, the first pokemon games aren't too bad. In fact the Red and Silver/Gold versions are very nice RPG's that are fun to play, though they are a bit "old school" in terms of graphics, but it doesn't affect the gameplay. I don't remember just about anything about the games, but if somebody wants to know how to get a legitimate Mew (hidden #151) in the Red version, feel free to PM me. 8-) It's possible without any gameshark hacks or modifying the cartridge.
  3. Omg, thanks for reminding me why I quit reading the WoW forums while I still played the game. That's so annoying. Who the hell cares you're "posting on a legendary thread"? Does it get you social status you were online while the post was new and you got on the first page? If you have something to say, say it. But reading 3 pages of comments that are "Hi, posting on a legendary thread" is rubbish. It makes you look dumb. I wish Merc moderated the wow forums.
  4. LOL I just finished watching this. Haha, and no positive comments... "Emo... You mean those guys who cut themselves?" "Grunge was different from Emo in one way... Their music didn't suck" Nobody laughs at them because "they're different". So many people are 'emo' now they are all just mass produced zombies. Get your own opinions, no offense. And yes, the hairstyle is not unique anymore. It used to be unique in Japan until 'emo' kids wanted to look like misunderstood video game characters in the USA. It's so unoriginal, be yourselves. It can't be that hard to get your own personality, why even cut yourselves just because "others do it too and my life sucks"?
  5. Click here to view Watch it to the end and make your own decision. Yes, it should be common knowledge, but too many teens (and adults, too) set impossible cosmetic standards to themselves. Most of the "people" you see on billboards for example don't even "exist" as you see them. Notice how little effort it takes to edit the neckline, thin the face and enlarge the eyes. She looks almost like an alien in the end which is not very natural compared to what she looked like before the whole process.
  6. That's so psychedelic and unique, I don't know what to think about it. Then again, I for one need unique stuff like that. I'm totally sick of all the hollywood crap, that looks like something totally innovative. Yeah, it doesn't really have a point and it's kind of 'strange'. But if they made a movie out of this (it's nicely animated, anyways) I'd definitely watch it. It's very refreshing to sometimes watch absolutely pointless stuff, this is almost comparable to Monty Python and look at how popular it is. Their humor makes no sense either, but it's damn funny. Haha, I liked this line.
  7. Well, as you get to know me, you'll find out I correct peoples' grammer/spelling/punctuation quite a bit ;) I always hate to point out it's grammar. 8-)
  8. 1. Why don't you go for her? She seems more stable than option number two. Talk with her. 2. Take her pair of scissors and if she comes near you threaten to cut her hair bald from the sides so that she only has top hair and a mullet. She might not be stable, but then again she might commit suicide because her hair is so ugly and you solve the problem, and you get a pair of scissors. She's not worth your time. Really, there are so many threads about this, and very few of us here are gifted in the field of relationship therapy. This forum may not be the best place to ask for advice, especially since literally hundreds of posts like this have been made and people are getting tired of this stuff. How about no. Just post normal, you expect people to stop posting this because it annoys you. I expect you not to constantly repeat yourself because it annoys me. Sorry, my apologies. How2PK is your Master. Rule #1 is never annoy the Master.
  9. Actually, you're (or could be) probably slimmer than most people then. The most accepted 'guideline' for eating healthy is having about 6 small meals during the day with a few hours in between. 1 day will hardly affect your metabolism, and is good for practising self-control at any age (..still, I'd say over 12 at the least but even then a doctor would probably disagree)
  10. That's just wrong on many levels. First off Cuba doesn't have population obesity rates over 70%, and over there the average Joe must work harder to earn maybe 1/5th of the salary what an american could do with less effort. Then again it depends on what kind of laziness you're talking about. Of course there are lazy people everywhere, even in North Korea and Cuba. There are only a few hundred countries in the world, what are the chances that at least one person (or one hundred thousand, rather) are lazy? Not too small. But there are many more 'lazy' people in western countries than in Cuba simply because of their lifestyles that encourage laziness. In Cuba, most people still wash their clothes by hand, how many americans actually do that? Or how many ordinary people grow their own vegetables and spices in the US instead of ordering a pizza and a coke?
  11. If you want a real mental test, try fasting for 4 to 7 days in an army bootcamp (with only water). It was one option in the "endurance tests" selection, I got to day 4 and I was literally exhausted. I had to refuse to do anything but have a loaf of bread and some soup. But then again, deep in my mind I remember you're very young. I did this when I was 19, and it was voluntary. We were rewarded with free days off duty and unhealthy (tasty) food though. Don't even think about it if you're under 16. ...And yes, some skinny guys in my group were insane, they got to day 7 and they didn't even seem that weak but we all lost tons of weight (and undoubtly some muscle too which is why I wont do it again - voluntarily)
  12. That's why the big audiences started watching racing in the first place. 50+ years ago there was no such thing as "safety" in F1 cars for example, and many drivers died. They really risked their lives to earn big money.
  13. 400 gigabytes down, 750 gigabytes up. All on a static IP :P Sorry, might've worded that to terabytes just as well, but it's different. I was mainly talking about the people who originally uploaded the file, i.e. not the sharers/peers. If you uploaded 750gb of new movies and music and software to other users on a 100mbps connection through a single IP every few weeks you could get in trouble faster than you think. My upload ratio is also near those numbers, well actually almost more than double of that, but it spreads out over years. I'm quite positive many peers upload 1gb+ a day, how many upload 100gb+ 365 days a year is up to you to find out. That, and a sick upload connection costs dough. Anyways, let's just leave it at that as Anesthesia said as I'm quite positive the tip.it staff has stated at some point they don't want piracy discussion (though we didn't mention anything concrete yet).
  14. Yep, this kind of laws are exactly what prompt civil disobedience. A few bored people at some government department decided they need to feel important, and they take away something tons of kids enjoy because it contains something "that is only allowed to be included in bread". I don't eat this stuff often, maybe have done so twice in my life, but I'd still order this online or from the "black market" if it meant a lot to me. Sad law.
  15. Owned? Anyways, Cuba isn't even nearly as 'backwater' as North Korea, and they are both totalitarian communist regimes. I don't find it really too weird that they don't know about Wi-fi though, I'd say a minority of the people in the world know what it is.
  16. I'm not very knowledgable about this stuff...what exactly do you mean by that? For example many uploaders use multiple proxies or "zombie" computers to transmit files into the network, masquerading the innocent 'hostage' computer as the uploader. Very few uploaders also upload hundreds of gigabytes of data with their real IP address, though this has happened and they've been caught fast. Not to mention the fact that you can set up many virtual servers with different IP addresses with a person never being really behind any of those IP's, the list goes on...
  17. You're gonna get a lot of immature sarcastic remarks about the title of your video 8-) Anyway, this one's pretty good, not that I could do it (see from 0.33 and forward)... The ice cubes just slip inside the glass, awesome. I've been practicing this for days now, but it will take ages to really master this.
  18. It's a kind of prayer where you offer your worship to a God. My friend who is a hindu said you should do it before you eat anything that day.
  19. locked out of the house? :-k Rofl, that's one sad story though. His parents really need to get their heads checked especially if he was very young, ESPECIALLY if they left him outside for the night to live on grass. That's just wrong.
  20. I was just about to mention you, since I somehow remember you mentioning you're a hindu. Happy Diwali to everybody else too! 8-)
  21. Sorry Dan, but I have to disagree. Spam does not mean shouting a thousand brand names consecutively in a subway. Spam does not mean throwing around a million leaflets asking you to buy a plasma vacuum cleaner. Neither does it mean sending millions of bogus mp3 files to de-facto illegal sites. Read this for more info. IMO, most people who 'ware' files online, couldn't really care less about what the RIAA thinks or does especially if you use torrent files and indexes. Using programs like LimeWire and Kazaa is just asking for trouble. As said before, just use a private torrent tracker, there are thousands around. I have never ran across a bogus file on any of these (I'm not going to lie, and yes I do also buy and rent lots of movies) and RIAA is too stupid to even find out what a "tracker" is and how it works. Not only that, but since the uploader only uploads a .torrent file, he can't be held liable for uploading copyrighted content in most countries.
  22. Happy al-Fitr to all muslims here. 8-) Plenty of my (not so religious) friends who are muslims chose to fast during ramadan, and they were quite happy with it. Now's your time for all the presents and holiday spirit. I think it's pretty cool anyways because then you get presents on 2 occassions (and I got one on even chinese new year from my friend, and on hanukkah, I'm drowning in the parcels, religions rule), x-mas and al-Fitr. If you want to, you can look up "Eid al-Fitr" for more info. ...No wonder most muslim countries have less fat people than western countries.. :P Don't take it so seriously...
  23. When I was about 5 or 7, I used to eat sand from a sandbox (thick sand, not like the stuff on beaches). After munching on it for a few minutes it was actually pretty delicious. No, I did not swallow it... Maybe I did a little.
  24. Depends on your personal honor. I'd never scam another person, and I've been both the reciever and the lender. I always pay back about 20% more as a sign of gratitude even if they say it's not necessary. The world wouldn't work if nobody trusted anybody. By talking to a person for years you can usually form an opinion about his/her trustworthiness. But sadly sometimes, things like this can happen and somebody could guess even your best friend's recoveries.
  25. I got some pretty unique DNA in me, from Finland, Denmark, Croatia/Serbia, Sweden and Russia. 8-) How'd you find out? From my mothers side I have lots of people in my family that I descend from that have a Swedish/Danish last name, but the ancestry can be barely traced to about the 14th century and I have no idea if some of them were vikings. Our family chronicle says though that it's nearly impossible to know because real vikings ceased to exist already before the end of the 11th century.
