  1. It is indeed rare to see you post more than 2 sentences at a time... My problem is not how Warbands work, or the risk and reward (part of that is how I value my time). It's shameful it has to lure no PvP players out there but it's not even that which bothers me. Rather it's the people who now engage in these activities, on both sides. The pkers who really give non PvP player a pain don't risk bank. The best they've ever taken into the wild is a Polypore Staff or Hand Cannon. They also don't have numbers. Warband PK is the largest group next to Saintprodigy, but they each only show up to 3 warbands a day. Evey other group is just a team of 4 who come in Batwing. It's funny because when either of the other two big group come to town and bust their face, they come inside of Warband FC and cry that we such and should have helped them. It seems so different from the pking I was told about/remember. Early on, thou I didn't care to engage to much in it, it felt like there was more honor and pride. Maybe I'm misguided but plenty of pkers before left me alone when I asked them to. Of course there was plenty who didn't but at least when I fought back they didn't run from me. They wanted to kill players who seriously wanted to fight. And they were willing to risk for reward. The guys that come out now want the reward but sure as [bleep] won't risk, even in crappy gear. Which burns me about the non PvP players. They don't want to fight back. They want the reward without risk. They come unarmed and expect 100k exp. I've said in recent days if every man was to arm himself ready to fight for what they want they'd be more successful. Plenty times Warband FC has had antipk squads who have done well. Admitting, I started out ready to fight before going unarmed. But I quickly realized thing went much better if I came ready to defend and I have tried to help. And I enjoyed it to an extent. But NO ONE ELSE want to try and would cry when they die. All I see in the chat is "Where is the next band?" "Tents at w36" "This should be a safe D&D" "[cabbage] pkers. Kids in nothing but [cabbage] gear who think they are baws" "I shouldn't have this much trouble" "Someone find a new world quick@@@" I know the reward from Warbands are not guarantee for me. But the concept seems to escape most other people's mind. So both parties whine. Only non pkers whine louder because the whiny pker killed them and caused them grief. Right now I'm numb to the death. It doesn't bother me anymore. Because my fear has been replaced with general annoyance with both group of players.
  2. What I wanna know is why the incline to get to him is so steep. I feel like we should hit our face each time we go down there. Also...legos?
  3. Let the record show you took my quote totes out of context!
  4. About how long did take for automatons?
  5. Or we can just bow to our new overlords the Warband FC.
  6. Makes sense.. they were getting ruined by pkers because 99% were leechers lol. Black dhide and a hand cannon will do the job just fine ;) Also, I checked myself.. you can only assist 3 times a day aswell on beam/summ/slay -cries- Yeah, but it seems somewhat disconnected from your ablity to loot. I'm not sure yet. Warband FC just seems like it's trying to be WWII Germany at this point. They attack whites no matter what (killing unarmed is against the rules but I saw a lot die), so at this point join the fc and bring a weapon, stay away, or camp a world and pray they don't show.
  7. So...Warband FC has a new rule. Bring a weapon or die. As in you must be in chat and have a weapon or you will die, as in they will kill you. And they expect t60+ or a weapon for your lvl. Also the wearing of the cape rule is dead.
  8. Got a few more 80's some days ago, but have yet to quest outside the Demon Slayer remake. But today i feel a little more quest like so I'll try to do one. From Warbands Diseased + Carrior Jadnikos Boring ass maple. But I had manga to read to pass the time. I also got 92 during a sinkhole last night, but forgot to grab the lvl up, o this picture will just have to take it's place. Now to do homework. Later.
  9. The Smuggler asked me to smuggle some teleport books out.
  10. "Hold up, hold up. I forgot something on the... NOPE!"
  11. Packages. Getting packages in the mail. Even when I'm expecting it, for those brief 5 seconds to 1 minute of opening it, all is right in the world and I am alright with the world.
  12. My self confidence and my patience. If I had more self confidence I'd probably have all the things I ever want to do/learn done by now. I'd be better at interviews, I'd be more physically fit, and I'd have a better social life. For a long time now I've been trying to lose weight now and live a more fit an active lifestyle but I don't find as easy as people say. I always felt that my effort was fruitless. I know it take a while before you really notice the change and get better; I was once an athlete, a bad one, but one nonetheless. But temptation is everywhere on a college campus and I get really discourage easy. I also don't make friends easy. I used to be very very shy. I've become a bit more outgoing, but not enough to shed my reserved, poker faced, guarded personality. I've been told I'm tuned to other peoples feelings, but unfortunate for me I tend to read things as always bad. I'm always trying to know what people think of me because I dislike conflict and I'm sensitive. And it makes me appear unfriendly when I'm not. That's why I admire those outgoing people with a metric [cabbage] ton of confidence. They can do something I can't even when people talk bad about them to their face for being too honest. As for patience, if I had a bit more of that, I'd know how to play the guitar and program by now. But the learning curves for both activities discourage me from wanting to do more. I know it's just me being lazy, so this is easier than change than other things.
  13. The FC's recommend mult but I agree 100% with this. The only problem with having single is if you get a wand. Someone in the chat will always bs you but most of the camp will try and help you. That said, you don't need mult with a ppot, quick prayer + surge combo. As for you Fly, warbands is easy to get into once you start. Most camps, you'll have a hard time getting in on the beam. But half the camps I do I help with the beam. The fail rate is at 50% due to people accidentally (or purposely) running in sight.
  14. The problem with FC's over actual clan channels is that you can't control who is in your channel. Warband FC does take a move active time to be a safer chat but it gets really difficult especially RIGHT AFTER RESET. I learned that last reset when I tried to do my 3rd warband. A pker held me at gun point and told me to pick from the tent. Of course she was stupid because I just destroyed all my loot. I was gonna die anyway. It's much easier to warband midday, after 2am, and even after work but before rest, especially in America.
  15. As I mentioned earlier, they haven't killed me in armor. It was only when I wielded my crystal bow. I also wear expendable gear (like royal dhide and quest items I can reclaim for free) as I don't plan to actively pk. But it matters not, as if you are found on the wrong side, a handcannon to the face is what you'll get. If you are really worried, try to get into the Warband FC chat or where a team 6 cape and join King Warband. Take a ppot, have quick prayer, surge and escape on your bar. And if you really just have to run out then take a tbird and 2 scrolls. Also try to avoid going to a Warband right after reset for a few hours.
  16. More warband news. Straight from the Warband FC chat, the chat color ir purple/pink. Team cape 6/ purple cape / purple fremmy cape. If you can't get into FC wear that.
  17. It was never 1 per cycle or anything of the sort, the only limit ever imposed on it was 75 reward token thingies looted per day (which equates to 3 camps a day assuming you fully loot) 8 hour wait. You couldn't loot 25 from one camp then jump to another. You had to wait 8 hours from the last one you did that granted you 25 supplies. I have yet to confirm this as I still hear people saying they can't do it. Time to check it out. FC are saying limit is gone, so now it's 75 a day.
  18. Same stats as Ahrim's. But cheaper.
  19. Warband news for those of you who care: There are now 2 warband friendchats. They are King Warband and Warband FC. They have a little war going on as Warband FC is a splinter group from the first that claims better leadership, effective antipking, and is safer from spies. In any event, they practice the kill armed white dote rule. If you wield a weapon you die. No word on if you can wear armor for defense or bring a BoB, but so far I haven't been sniped with them. Note, I am led the believe that if you are a white dot and you get a wand, they will kill you. So it'd be wise to join one of the FC's or camp a world and go it alone.
  20. I had the same experience. Especially since so many of them decided to watch it instead of Game of Thrones (why?) which, incidentally, was awesome. I only watched the first few episodes of The Walking Dead before I got bored. Nowhere near the quality of Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Gonna go post in the GoT thread now bai. Why even...forget it, he won't be back. Anywho, so that season finale was all full of death. And I was thinking the Governor was gonna hold it together. Lolnope. Now him, Martinez, and that one black guy are just one a road trip. Awkward... But did anyone else see Andrea's death coming? (I personally wanted to see her as a walker when they found her)
