What to kill with my stats? [in signature]
I think a higher dungeoneering, herlore and summoning would go a long way. If you can manage herblore I suggest QBD. But given your 99 magic I think you can duo a lot in GWD (minus Nex). I don't know your equipment, but if you have Fire Cape, Ahrims wand+ and DFS you can give Skeletal Wyverm a try and farm their bones.

Breaking news: Guthix wakes, hits snooze button
Lawl. Is it bad that I read this as a ABC news report. This was great.

While Guthix Snores
While still working on my quest cape for 2k13 I decided since 6 months free is 6 months, I'd take a break every now and again and play on Oldschool Runescape. The idea of starting over and lack of feature suck. I'll get that out the way now. I have no levels so I can teleport ANYWHERE. I have no money so I can't buy ANYTHING. I'm weak, so monsters over level 2 can kill me. And I somehow have to complete quest, some of which rewards me with skill levels or items I could have used for said quest. I can't skip convo using the space bar, the screen is stuck on a small window, and curse word a censored so half of HYT chat looks like ************. With that said, it is refreshing playing a simpler game and earn levels so quickly, even if I do have to DIY everything. So I decided to take those free 6 months and play two account. Big bear (EOC) will still be working to a quest cape. Little bear (OSRS) will probably be a 45 defense pure. Why? Well I decided I'd also trying this pking business. Little Bear's First Quest [hide] [/hide] In other news [hide] Bear Bear's GM quest 3! [/hide] Onwards to TWW!

Marquis' Invisible Blog *** Completionist cape achieved
I never ever EVER find draggle. The one time I did I wasn't looking for him. I was burning Vyre when he started. I tele'd right on top of him, ran to the bank then ran back to burn Vyre. I was mad. Congrats anyway.

Back again!... Maybe
Hey. Welcome back. A lot of changes indeed but if you pop over to the HYT chat we'll be happy to help you sort it out!

Marquis' Invisible Blog *** Completionist cape achieved
This. Guys, guys, it's not that hard. I did it to 90 and then took a break from it. Just... every freaking pendant goes to that skill :D Yeah, so I got one more level: Agility 95. [hide=pic][/hide] And a couple of other levels from weird things that I can't even remember: Summoning 67 Farming 74 Prayer 71 [hide=Prayer level][/hide] I had a challenge of pickpocketing dwarf traders today, and I got a court summons and a clue scroll (hard). I forgot to screenie the reward, because we were kieraning all over the chat, but rest assured it was absolutely crap. I got willow comp bows, law/blood runes and a rune b-axe. Not even worth mentioning. Anyhow, I'll keep grinding that Agility. See ya. In the same way you hate dung, I hate agility. You should understand my hate now.

Death Plateau should. It's doesn't have an agility requirement and is only in Burthope.

Future Update Discussions
Except that it's probably going to work the same way as RFD: The base quest has comparatively low requirements, so you could do it fairly soon after starting the game. Finishing the quest, on the other hand, requires finishing every other major storyline in the game first. You couldn't be farther from the truth in saying that it has barely any requirements, it's just that they're not strictly level-based. The story-based quest rewards you for progressing through the game's story - I don't really see a problem there. It makes a hell of a lot more sense than slapping an arbitrary 90+ requirement on it. It's a very refreshing change from, say, Brink of Extinction. I see the low requirement and yet I feel the intense need to do WGS and RotM because of the lore. I do agree that as a GM quest requirements should reflect that. It's like jumping into MGS4 without play 1 - 3. Easy access sure but unless you know the story before hand MGS4 would be very confusing and painful to play. But it doesn't bother me as much anymore. If it works as RFD then I'm for it. Right now the quest has low requirements, but those earlier quest rewards related teaser whatever like the Balmug upgrade needed completion of WGS and RotM. Those who feel the need to complete those two quest before TWW (or have already done it) will enjoy all the rewards more so than others.

Transformers Universe - no longer a MMORPG, now a MOBA.
If your awaiting a call up, it just means you haven;t been selected for the first stage of closed beta (which makes sense seeing as closed beta started over 3 weeks ago nearly now). I wouldn't wait on that to change, just when you get an email from Jagex telling you you have beta access, sure open beta goes live early 2013. Sad Polar is sad. Meh, I'd still play a MOBA. I mean, it Transformers. Unless it's completely horrid I imaging bot fighting is fun. Right. RIGHT?

Behind the Scenes: March 2013
Agreed. Sorry if in my original post it seemed like I was saying they shouldn't get anything as a F2Per, I guess I just got a bit carried away and didn't make my point clear. @Kimberly, Yes. In essence that is what I mean. OT: I think this month is going to be interesting with the release of a new quest, TWW. As an avid quester I find this to be the highlight of my month. I'll leave the rest up for debate because my opinion on all of it is rather moot. New abilities: cool. Wilderness: meh, I've never enjoyed PvP. Easter: Sounds fun. Free Changes: *looks at previous posts* I think I made my point, finally. Nice to see you've calm down. And you are 100% correct, F2P do get a lot of updates. But I never meant to imply F2P should get as many updates as P2P. So what I should have said was this is nice that F2P is getting this without it being a P2P update as well, and that in general Jagex is paying a little more attention to F2P. My bad. Anywho, since agility has less of a use will it be possibly replaced in the future. They said they planned to update this skill to be less...painful, but what could we possibly use this skill for now except quest requirements?

Behind the Scenes: March 2013
Excuse me? Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't F2P as well as P2P get the new EOC update only how long ago? It used to be that F2Pers would only get the yearly updates, such as Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween, as well as possibly once in a while a little tiny thing added here or there like the SOS, or something.. People always complained about how F2P got updates when it was a small one back then, and now you're saying that it's about time that F2P, which pays nothing to the people who give you the content, has deserved this update because they haven't had one for three months? Sorry if this comes off as arrogant, but F2P should only get major updates such as EOC, and such just because it IS a trial... The whole purpose of the Demo is so that you buy the full version, not that you eventually stick with it long enough and you have the full version. On a side note, be happy you have as much content today as you do, there was once a day where you didn't have anything but skills to train, and friends to be with. There were no activities, no anything hardly. Wow. 1) Yes F2P did get EoC and holiday events. But EoC was a major update that seems silly to exclude F2P from since it was an update to change combat as a whole. So yes, I was wrong to stay a long time. But holiday events are just that, holiday events. They don't last long. 2) F2P is still a demo. What good is it to have a demo with quest that came out in 2004. Jagex has to continue to convince people to play their game. F2P should still get love outside of large and major updates. Also, not everyone who plays on F2P is cheap.
-
Behind the Scenes: March 2013
Finally. It's only been forever since F2P had something good. Not saying other updates didn't help them, but they are largely ignored. Which is sad, as F2P is effectively a demo for the game as a whole, and if Jagex wants to continue to showcase something they feel is good, they need to update the demo. I like this way more then 2 free weeks of F2P because it adds 2 new areas and allows a teaser of news skills, without a time limit, which I hope will cut down on the trial bots. Plus, this may convince existing F2P to finally come over, or at least give them a reason to still play for a bit long. I'm also happy about the new abilities additions. Right now I feel they are good, but overwhelmed by melee abilities available. While there is a enough to have a solid ability bar, I wished there are were a least 3 more abilities for a bit of variety. And with improved changes to duel wielding, I wonder how long the maul can still stay up top (for those of use who can't afford drygore). And of course I'm excited for Warbands and Easter.

"CrossFit" Gym to Train the Agility Skill
Have the Demon Drill Sergent name to be revealed as Shawn T. and have him refer to his exercises as insane or you have to have some level of Insantiy to do these. No but seriously this is a good idea. Could also have it so that as your agility level increases, so do the workout types. (Level 90 agility - P90X anyone?) Not sure how many of us enjoy The Pit D&D but they could also change that to more of a Fish Flingers/Gielinor Games type of D&D (compete with other places and elves in mock World Championship events) instead of a game of chance. 10/10

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
No, you can afk for several minutes at a time on eocscape cooking rocktails or at Artisans Workshop, or cutting ivy. Players on 07 scape actually have to play the game, I went afk whilst smelting bars for a minute the other day and ended up in Lumbridge. In addition to death actually meaning something in 07scape, the lack of so many make X options and the ability to actually get greater rewards for putting greater effort in using efficient skilling methods (which Jagex has killed in modern RS) all encourage people to pay attention and actually play the 07 servers whilst afking the EoC game. There is no punishement for afking in the EoC game, and very few skills reward you for paying attention any more. (Faster rocktails using the new interface is all I can think of) As for the bot thing, yes the bot developers will eventually come up with something that will take Jagex several months and broken promises to fix for two weeks. I was simply pointing out that the number of actual players on the EoC is inflated atm compared to the people playing 07. I never said afking was without penalty. Just saying you can still do it, so 2k7 number aren't entirely accurate (thou more so than 2k13 :P). And while I haven't played 2k7 recently, I have in the past. There have been times I've been afking and haven't gotten a random event. A friend of mine once popped over to 2k7 but wasn't as invested so if afk'd in 2k7 while actively engaging in 2k13. Now of course he died after 7 minutes, so jokes on him but to say you can't afk in 2k7 isn't right. It'd be more like afking in not recommended to do as the risk is much higher in 2k7.

My lack of focus is sad compared to yours. 93 magic. From superheating. All those ores. Sweet baby Jesus I couldn't do it... CONGRATS!

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
In the same way you argue that 2k7 player are afking on 2k13, I'm sure some are afking on 2k7 while actively enjoying the other. I would have to say this change has made the main game more positive as well. The player who truly dislike EoC have left, given a few still remain, but their numbers are small and they only wish to engage in some type of trolling. It's true that for the time there are no bots in 2k7, but in the main game we have seen how quickly bots return after Jagex introduce new bot tech into the game. We won't be able to say 2k7 is bot free for very long. Jagex will really have to start becoming creative.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
Because the changes over the past few years have been shite. Think of it, everyone starting at level one, a brand new economy, able to make money off skilling and selling otherwise useless things (think of the first few whips). I doubt I'll ever play the "new" RS again. I'll def be playing this. Not all of the changes over the past years have been bad. I think he was suggesting that if you don't enjoy the game like you used to then it's probably a good time to leave. The game doesn't stay alive by appealing to vet who in a few years time will leave because real life is more important.

Best way to make money?
Those like in the GWD or QBD. Some like the Kalphite King and Nex require teamwork but shouldn't be too hard to find a team. Also, at higher slayer levels, some task become profitable. Like Ganodermic beast and the likes.

Best way to make money?
Merching on the GE is the best to make money. Assuming you don't want to do that, PvM. I believe if you were to get 92 prayer for soul split at least, you can solo a great deal of monsters. The only thing you'd have to do is invest in the things you already said you want. Even without 92 prayer you can still solo a few bosses. Other money making methods include Managing Miscellania, herb farming, and daily rewards.

2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
The PR move Jagex made to encourage votes pretty well, and a lot more players have logged in because month 1 was free. Even before this thread there was only a small player base that was willing to pay $15 or more, and those seemed like the extremist of the lot. Many other players want this but were only willing to pay so much, Like $5 on top of existing fees. It appears to have a large population of players Jagex would have to continue to allow free access to 2k7 if you are a paying for EOC.

A bit of an update
So I haven't posted an update in a while. Mostly because I am lazy but I also had midterms to study for, so I haven't been playing much of anything. Aside from the usual applying for job and whatnot, I've been feeling tired. I just want to sleep all day, but can't as I usually have evening activities. I think I need to change my bed time to 9pm. Anyway, instead of a log post, here's some shit that's happened. [hide] The boooooooooooooooooowl Tetsu Laminar Big QBD drop 2,000 total club [/hide] I'll be questing, hopefully to have WGS done before Monday's update (Or Tuesday if they changed update schedules) Until next time P.S: Northwestern Mutual didn't like me so still looking for internships. Laptop needs a new hard drive so I'm broke :| And I'll eventually update my slayer loot tab
