I've done more PVP (over 900 hours and counting) then almost anyone else I've ever met. And torso stinks for PVP, very badly. Barrows makes it look pathetic. If you can't afford the 3k per hour repair cost you shouldn't be doing PVP, as you would have to do 2,000+ hours of PVP just to break even with the time spent on torso - all the time fighting with vastly inferior torso stats. Fighter torso is best for those under 65 defence. When you're 70+ defence you get bandos chestplate for safe pvp and barrows for pking.

+4 strength bonus will more often then not increase your max hit by 1. If you do pvp alot, even safe minigames like clan wars, it is very useful. If you only train then yes the 8 hours or so it takes to get it could have been put to better use, but I don't personally know anyone who got a torso just to help with their training. If you're not pvp oriented, safe or unsafe, then I agree you'd be better of with rune or w/e.

100% against monsters. 50% against other players. Other questions depend on your stats and bonuses.

Torso is great for pvp.

I have never heard anyone claim adamant armour is better then torso. And torso has more slash defence then rune platebody.

If it's any consolation I insult people wearing dragon skirts when they also have granite platebody dragon med granite shield and dragon longsword because they look like a typical noob. I don't bring their masculinity (or lack off) into the equation :thumbup: .

Started in January 2003 just after santa hats were dropped. I remember my real life friend (who was around level 38) giving me one and telling me they were dropped last christmas. I actually remember saying what kind of nerd would play this game for a whole year. Fast forward six years and i'm still here. The same friend told me to keep my defence, magic and prayer low. I did good at staying pure for my first account but when I got dual 40s in attack and strength with like 6 defence (your first hit in combat was always in controlled mode when you logged in) I decided it was taking too long to get my combat level up so I raised defence anyways. Couple of low defence accounts down the line and I found a rune 2h in the wilderness (my account had like 43 attack 50 strength and 14 defence at the time, used adamant 2h). I was so happy until the next day I got killed pking. After quitting for a month because of the rune2h incident I started pking with rune mace (fun times) and I eventually got another rune 2h. I've Had a lot of ups and downs in good old gielinor, for the most part i've enjoyed the ride. I wish I had as much knowledge about runescape when I started as I do now. My first account started pure and I have no doubt my last account will end pure.

My favourite moment...Probably when revenants were first introduced. I was training at hill giants in wildy when suddenly about five 100+ players ran past me eating and getting hit high 20s simultaneously. I remember thinking oh [bleep] someone found out how to attack people with a cannon in wildy so I was trying to ask people wtf and they were just saying run and next thing I know I see this huge grey-white thing on the horizon of my screen throwing what looked like massive balls of air. I was like omfg and ran. I hate rev's but it was a great first meeting.

Powerful pj weapon. Like the AGS. Tbh when they are used in a good fight I have no problem with them but when you get 110's pjing you, praying, then running if you don't die, it's a headache.

It's a shame the game doesn't actually look like that. My laptop just about manages to cope with low detail. That level of detail would kill it.

99 strength on my 60 attack pure, 99 attack and strength on Yo I O W N U.

There's no need to get any skill capes but if you're lvl 120 with untrimmed fletching cape you can safely expect to receive some abuse wherever you go.

If there was a Spanish server I would probably use that one most often. English is my first language.

I've only done RFD out of them two, but the fact that it was multiple quests and a pain to do coupled with other peoples opinions makes me think RFD is the longer one.

If you dislike fishing but see it as the best money maker for you and so do fishing until you can buy an AGS, are you a noob? Skill capes look good, people want them. Yes, people may work for a 99 and not enjoy the grinding, are they really noobs because of it?

I'm just curious as to why JaGeX would subscribe to him? :roll: Well, it's the guy who has put more time into the game than they have coding it. Don't you think he has some amount of contact with Jagex? Wouldn't you want to give your most supportive customer an upper-class? 1. He has alot of 99s, so what?Doesn't mean he gets contact with Jagex. 2. I don't see Zezima giving alot of supportive ideas to Jagex. He has alot of stuff, doesn't mean hes upperclass -.- Do you have any idea how many youtube accounts pretend to be Zezima? Obviously this is so that people know which the real one is. And since they originally had his name on the back of their book with a quote from him I would say he does have contact with Jagex.

Since i'm a low combat level next to a main (despite having the offensive stats normally found around 110 cb) people who have defence and are lower combat then me generally are noobs. And I don't have much patience for them. Then again alot of the higher level people with defence are also noobs. It's fun watching them say things like omg str nub before they die though, so they serve their purpose.
