I prefer to bring cheap raw food (like mackerels). It takes up more space, but it's also unrottable--ghast events are notorious for rotting your food as you run past them.

Eh, most of the money comes from snakehides anyway.

Familiars cannot be used. It's a weak money source, but it's better money than woodcutting so worth doing for lumberjack if you plan on getting 99 wc.

If you have to ask, it's probably a good sign that you should quit. Not necessarily "Drop all my items and never look back" quit, just regular "Maybe I'll come back someday" quit.

Kwuarms are probably not the right herb for you. You'll want either avantoe or snapdragon or some combination of the two. Poison ivy is definitely worthwhile. At the very minimum you should be using the Tower of Life and Champions Guild patches since they're so fast to get to. If you don't have access to Rimmington teleport and an Etceteria spirit tree, the other two are less attractive but still fine.

This is getting harder to do due to its popularity now. What I do with herb cleaning is treat it like GE merchanting. I watch the price graphs, and when I think an herb is going to go up in price, I buy the grimy version, but instead of just reselling like I would normally, I clean them first. It's tougher to clean herbs profitably if you don't watch the markets.

Yeah, willow logs are so much slower than maples, and you barely save any money. It's just not worth the massive xp loss to use willows. And yeah, you should figure about 1200 logs/hr, give or take depending on your focus. I suggest learning to light fires backwards without stopping to eliminate the time spent running back to the bank.

The real drawback of snapdragon farming is that you have to either constantly restock your supply of seeds, which is pretty annoying, or else tie up a significant portion of your cash buying the seeds in bulk, which prevents you from using it for merchanting. That's why I switched to avantoe. Of course, once you have your scroll of life, snaps should be a no-brainer over any other herb except torstol, and even without the scroll, they should still be a no-brainer at the Trollheim patch. Obviously if you really did know what you were talking about, you wouldn't have assumed the use of any fewer than five herb patches, and you would have already known that the average yield is between 6-7 herbs per seed. :ugeek:

In fairness, the price of the fury is due to the TzHaar shop update, not inflation. You can boost for Love Story, so you shouldn't need to train crafting or magic at all--just use potions. If you find a good team for Barbarian Assault, you can use a Penance Horn to help with agility and/or mining. But it's only worthwhile if you have a competent and patient team who can do at least a full 10 waves without anyone quitting, so don't bother trying to use W6. As for money, I might as well save Zaaps the trouble of copy/pasting that post he's been making all over the place.

That would explain "14 out of 5" I guess, it means it's been rated 14 times out of the five it needs to be. But it doesn't explain the display problems. Try setting the threshold to 0 and see what happens? Yes, that would be great.

Mutated bloodvelds are very good at killing familiars, so it'd be a good idea to have an extra pouch or two.

In defense of heavy rod fishing, the agility xp is pretty valuable, depending on your level. If you're under 70 agility, you'd only be making 35-45k agility xp/hr at a normal course, which means you could be saving the equivalent of as much as ~8-12 minutes of agility training for every hour of fishing. Fairly significant depending on how much you value agility xp.

You don't really have the cash to justify getting the SS, since you only really need it for waterfiend tasks. Use a Z Spear for waterfiends, and when you're richer (a couple weeks of farming and dailies should do it) then you can feel okay upgrading to the SS.
