  1. 1. Yeah there's been inflation, but the price of rares is more due to other economic factors which prob'ly aren't really worth going into at length. 2. Zaros? Saradomin? I don't know. There's various players who are sorta famous but none of them are really important, except the Jmods. 3. To level up dungeoneering, you need to go to Daemonheim. Take the boat there from Al-Kharid and go to the top of the mountain. Speak with the NPCs to receive a Ring of Kinship, which you can use to form a party and raid Daemonheim. During the raids, you go through the rooms fighting monsters and unlocking doors until you reach the boss room, and once you kill the boss you finish the dungeon and you can start another. That's the basic idea. 4. The mechanics of hitpoints were updated a while back. See the explanation here. Abby whip + rune defender is still the best for normal use, with the caveat that chaotic weapons are superior once you have the dungeoneering level for them.

Craft battlestaves. They're very fast and very efficient. The buy limit on the GE is annoying, but worth the trouble for the cheap/fast xp. And you don't need to bother with charging the orbs or alching the finished battlestaves if you were thinking of doing that--it just slows you down, mostly.
  3. Aberrant spectres in Pollnivneach are pretty good cash with a macaw. (Use prayer gear, salve ammy, and pro magic, bank with duel rings and slayer rings, restore prayer with Ardougne Cloak teleport.) Living Rock creatures are great too...they have high HP, low defense, and IIRC they give more xp per hit than normal monsters. Great cash especially if you mine them.
  4. Crossbow is better.
  5. Shouldn't be any variability at all--the number of points per task is fixed.
  6. No, even with a cannon, they're only good for fast slayer xp while being a huge money drain, like Kalphites. Steels aren't bad, per se. They're just worse than other tasks I could be doing instead. Most of Kuradal's worse tasks are like that.
  7. Block Kalphites. Common task, no drops, crowded, and they drain your money with cannonballs. Definitely Kuradal's worst task. Y'know, unless you like to kill the KQ or something. Steel dragons are pretty weak too, especially if you don't have 90 agility for the shortcut or 85 dungeoneering for the anvil. Long, boring task with slow xp. I also block hellhounds. Again, no drops, bad charms, although the xp is a bit better if you like xp. (Clue scrolls don't matter even if you do them, because everything drops clue scrolls.)
  8. I thought you liked fishing? That's why you picked it, isn't it?
  9. No it isn't. It will never happen. I guarantee it. And I'm willing to bet, too. Name your price.
  10. Rocktails. :ugeek:
  11. Also, next week is an update to Treasure Trails with new rewards and the introduction of lv4 clue scrolls.
  12. Yes, you should do every quest you have the levels to do, and then level up until you can do the rest of the quests. Quests are the best thing you can do to develop your character.
  13. Can you give us a screenshot of your world map with all the menus open?
  14. It's probably because they haven't trained dungeoneering.
  15. You shouldn't block terrorbirds because you should be using Kuradal. And she doesn't assign them.
  16. Kuradal's Dungeon!
  17. The spirit dagannoth's double attack is fairly rare, whereas the lava titan's 50 damage is fairly common. So the lava titan can deal more damage with its normal attack. However, the dagannoth's Spike Shot special is much better than the ebon thunder, so if you're using scrolls, you want a dagannoth.
  18. Didn't do Imp Catcher/Witch's Potion then? I rarely left Lumbridge! (Scared of the highwaymen) It's a lot easier to start up in magic as a new player these days, with all those free runes you get from Blood Pact.
  19. Didn't do Imp Catcher/Witch's Potion then?
  20. Your slayer level is way too low. Train it up higher and get some charms that way. Get at least enough to buy the ability to craft slayer rings.
  21. Um...why wouldn't you be able to do the quest?
  22. That's a rather misleading picture, seeing as you didn't take into account the distance between the larupia teleport spot and the jungle aerie + the time it takes to rope two eagles and watch the animation.
  23. Nope. Fairy ring is much further from the eagles nest. Plus its quite obvious 1 tele > eagles > desert is faster than 3 teles > eagles > desert (3 teles becuz slayer ring, zanaris, then out) Also to clarify: Herblore requires phoenix feathers, gained from the desert phoenix. Summoning requires phoenix quills from the D&D I meant the fairy ring in the desert south of the phoenix.
  24. I believe slayer ring -> fairy ring is marginally faster than the larupia.
  25. Wait. Did you test a small purchase first? Should I have done that? D: Woulda been smart, yes, although checking the price history graphs is probably good enough. I recommend selling back the toadflax (unf) as soon as you can, because it looks like brews are being manipulated and are due for a crash very soon: http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/Saradomin_brew_%283%29/viewitem.ws?obj=6687
